Well, this looks like fun!
I'm curious as to Ruloc's take on my Taldoran paladin of Abadar, Howell B. Talbot III, who is a PC in James Jacobs' campaign.
Howell is modeled after Thurston Howell III, from Gilligan's Island, played by Jim Backus . So, imagine a younger Mr. Howell, with a thin, trimmed beard (like Riker's beard from Star Trek: TNG).
Howell wears a golden suit of adamantine full plate (complete with spiked shoulders), with a gold cloak. He sports "Justice", his shocking battle axe of animal bane (long story), and a light steel shield (these could be optional in a waist-up illustration, really). Abadar's Key symbol is prevalent on his belt buckle, shield, and the holy symbol hanging around his neck.

Why not both?
It wouldn't take much to get Akilah riled enough for a catfight. ; ). Particularly when the cleric in her party has a tendency to cast spells that affect chaotic alignments while she is grappling the monster (being chaotic herself).
Ruloc, she is absolutely perfect! Thank you so much! I particularly love the expressions on both her lycan and human forms. I can't wait to show her off to the rest of group when we game this saturday!
I love how you did Nicos Lebeda's Damascus steel swan sword! That really added a ton of character. I love checking in for the daily update. I continue to be amazed at the rapid rate you turn out quality work.

That really shows versatility and the modern graphic novel drawings style is nice, although not my favourite. But saying that Romula looks really impressive example of the style.
Plus I drawing a day is super impressive to me especially the high quality that has been produced.
Each time I check the new art-work, I am more amazed and jealous.
It looks pretty good...though your other drawings have been better. The face looks a little too sinster for the character would be the only critquie of the art. Though you were working off my description so it is proably more my fault than yours.

Ruloc: You've probably seen me favoriting lots of your character artwork on DeviantArt (i.e. WorldsUnknown). Sooo, when I realized that you were taking your requests from the Paizo forums, I figured it couldn't hurt to add my own Pathfinder character. :)
If you are willing to draw her, I would love to have a commission done of my favorite original character, Princess Alissariel Kirmoon.

Glad I managed to get at least something done this weekend! Apart from the excellent Guild Wars 2 beta(love the Sylvari) I finally managed to set up my Razer Nostromo for Photoshop, took me ages... ^^°

Hey Ruloc, Do you remember Aquilla and Priscilla from earlier? Well, I found a picture holder that can hold 2 pictures. I thought it would be cool if I could have a picture of Priscilla in the forground and Aquilla in the background. I don't need it for a while, just until I can find a group for them to fit in.

These have invariably been awesome.
Name: Kem Goz, fortune teller.
Basic details: Male, Elf, Witch, from Ustalav. Has a purplish hood or cowl to shade himself, but does not hide his face much. Face reveals great intelligence, as if deep in thought. Hands show long, quick, dextrous fingers. Body build is willowy, but not feeble.
A fennec fox is his familiar (very small fox with large ears and a brown and white coat). A GIS for "fennec fox" will give you thousands of pics to work from. They are very cute, but this one should be slightly serious, perhaps even sinister? After all, it represents an unknown yet powerful magical patron.
Notable gear: The one obvious item I would want highlighted in the picture would be a Harrow Deck, clearly ancient and well-used, but in decent condition. Perhaps magical? He's a fortune teller by trade.
Other gear: unstrung shortbow, silvered longsword, many scrolls, a few potions and wands, and some other odd bits (soup ladle, tallow candles, finger of troll, eye of stirge, that sort of thing... ;)
If any of you guys pick this request up, I'd be happy to answer any other questions you might have. I absolutely LOVE the work that's been done on this thread by the AWESOME artists. I'm in awe that you guys will do this work for fun, probably because I can just barely manage to scribble out a stick-figure myself.

Mad James Read
Up-and-coming elf pirate (sorcerer, unknown aquatic bloodline that manifests visibly only in his subtly alien demeanor and slightly large eyes) with an unpredictable nature and a tendency towards evil. He's ruthless and manipulative, and prone to telling bald-faced lies about his past if it will help him build trust with others. He has few loyalties, and turns to violence when it suits him to do so.
He's slim and physically frail, and rarely uses weapons or wears any kind of armor. He struggles with physical labor on-board the ship, but has recently managed to attain the status of first-mate and thus escape from almost any work that doesn't involve manipulating the captain and giving orders. He's been press-ganged into the pirating life against his will, but has found that his affinity to water and lack of empathy make him well-suited to survival on the seas.
He's most likely dirty and weather-beaten, like the rest of his crew. He's fragile but confident in his ability to solve problems and turn people (and circumstances) in his favor when necessary.
Eyes: Gray
6'0" and only 130 lbs
Hair: Blonde, almost white
Scar: He has an intimidating scar that crosses over his left eye from brow to cheek, which resulted from a spiked grate dropping on his head, nearly killing him.
STR 8; DEX 15; CON 10; INT 14; WIS 10; CHA 17
Equipment: Magic silver amulet, assorted potions, hooded lantern, and a rarely-used knife. Otherwise, wears typical pirate garb.
Please let me know if you have any more questions. Love all the art in this forum, and I'm sure my player would be ecstatic if someone illustrated his character for him. (We're on book 1 of Skull & Shackles, just about to move on to book 2)

I'm pleased that I could challenge your skills with the background, and I'll echo the comment that it would make an excellent wallpaper.
I like the contrast of light on the grove and Janessa in shadow.
Her face is more child-like and rounder than I had imagined, but I prefer it and I'm already imprinting this version in my head. She looks more 'innocent' now (sword aside, and in this pose and lighting), which is excellent for catching enemies off-guard.
I am also excited, flattered and grateful that you are doing a close-up of Janessa.

This thread pulled me out of lurker status! Outstanding stuff.
So in the campaign I'm currently in, the GM had us make characters with a set personality and look, as well as one common trait. The rest has changed several times (every time we get close to the evil mastermind, we have been killed... Only to be reincarnated with some of our previous memories).
So, all that being said, the name and class can change, but the general look and his love of cooking always stays the same. (Taking Profession: Cook became a joke at our table, and I ran with it.)
"The Cook"
Standing 5'8" he has a slight, but powerful build. He is extremely serious about his
food, and fighting, and he approaches both with an obsessive pursuit for perfection. He is always immaculately groomed, with a clean shaven face and head. His brown eyes are typical of his Tian (Chinese) heritage. He is in his early 20's.
He is a welcome traveling companion, (who really wants to eat dried meat for weeks at a time) and gets along well with his friends.
He generally dresses in orange (a throwback to his first class, a monk) and browns. I tend to play martial classes (monk and an archer so far, polearm fighter and dagger rogue will come later) so if he could have a physically capable look to him, that would be great.
If you could draw him with a Chinese style cleaver (the one constant in his equipment selection) that would be outstanding.
Other than that, whatever you want to do would be great! I'm excited to see how he turns out! I've been a huge fan of these portraits. Thanks again.
Man, Ruloc, the background in the picture of Janessa is top notch. Makes me almost wish that Lizrabel's typical abode wasn't a run-down all but abandoned monastery. (Don't worry about the devil infestation, she keeps them around as pets)
