Demons, Devils and the Ickies!

Product Discussion

'lo Everyone!

Been trying to do my online research on Pathfinder Compatible products and haven't had the grandest of luck on my search for those tomes that heavily deal with demons, devils and other critters or forces that go bump bump debump.

I've been looking high and low through Rite Publishing, Frog and a couple others but haven't yielded much - but I know they're out there! It's all a part of my pet project as I get to know Pathfinder more and create something I had started in Faerun (Forgotten Realms).

Any help, linkages and suggestions would be the mana!

Edit: I will be placing everything on my wishlist so I have a record of it, so if it's available here through Paizo, woot woot /endcrazywhitemale

While it is not Demons and devils, A Place Beyond Hell has a LOT of Cthulhu inspired monsters in to that you can find useful.

RPG Superstar 2013 Top 8

Creature Codex 2: Infernal Index has six evil outsiders in it. One each of devil, daemon, div, kyton and oni as well as a sort-of-demon (like a bebilith or xacabra).

So far that is one area that the 3pp have not touched to much. Paizo has the 3 books on it so far and then the two 3pp books mentioned above. Other than that I can't think of any other books on the topic off hand.

Green Ronin put out a book called Book of Fiends for 3.5. It's pretty darn good. But it would need to be updated, and appears to be OOP, though you can order a lulu copy from the publisher here.

Book of Fiends! I forgot that one. I used to own the hard copy a few years back but (I believe) I let it go couple years ago when I had to step away from all of it. I must have it again.

Really like what Beyond Hell and Infernal have to offer!!

Additionaly, any books like Forgotten Foes are also the types of sources I'm hoping to find to provide those NPC characters and what not :)

Could anyone else think of any other dealings that I might be able to use in my creation here?

So, wait, do you mean books, or actual entities? As far as entities go, I can list pretty much any evil outsider you want, demons, devils, divs, daemons, you name it. And a few more non pathfinder evil entities besides, like abishai and the like.

I suggest the Lesser Key of Solomon ;-)

The Tome(s) of Horrors from Frog God has some Evil McNasties in there. Also, Legendary Games' Unrighteous Villains has some unique bad guys of the demonic sort for pestering PC's. In a similar vein, if you want some really wicked baddies, check out LG's Mythic Monsters Demons, Devils, Abyssal, and so on.

And PLEASE! Let us know what all you find! An itemized list would be awesome :)

Alrighty, evil outsiders...subsections include rakshasa(though they technically spawn on the prime material), div, kyton, qlippoth, demons, daemons, devils and demodands(bit of an obscure one.) I guess you could also consider oni and barghest though barghest are another obscure one.

Devil: Barbed devil, bearded devil, ice devil, bone devil, erinyes, horned devil, imp, lemure, pit fiend.

Demon: Babau, balor, dretch, glabrezu, hezrou, marilith, nabasu, nalfeshnee, quasit, shadow demon, succubus, vrock.

Kyton: Augur, eremite, interlocutor.

Demodand: Tarry demodand, stringy demodand, slimy demodand, shaggy demodand.

Div: Aghash, akvan, doru, ghawwas, pairaka, sepid, shira.

Oni: Fire yai, ice yai, void yai, water yai, kuwa, spirit oni.

Qlippoth: Augnagar, chernobue, cythnigot, iathavos, nyogoth, shoggti, thulgant.

Daemon: Astradaemon, cacodaemon, ceustodaemon, derghodaemon, hydrodaemon, leukodaemon, meladaemon, olethrodaemon, piscodaemon, purrodaemon, thanadaemon.

That ought to do it, might have got a letter or two wrong, so watch for that.

Oh, sorry, forgot Asura

Asura: Tripurasura, Upasunda, Asurendra, Aghasura, Adhukait

I think that about does it.
