Maybe it is glaringly obvious, and I am missing it, but what does this feat do? Why does it exist? Why would one disassemble an item if the only thing to do with it is reassemble it...maybe

Shadow Lodge

This has nothing to do with PFS (feat not allowed in PFS) so I'm flagging it for moving...

Sorry, figured it has to have a PFS function since it is in a Pathfinder Society book and doesn't look like it does anything absent some specific rule variance.

Hi, John.

"Factions" in this sense are larger than the Pathfinder Society. They're organizations across Golarion. One of them, in fact, is directly opposed to the Pathfinder Society.

So, it's not particularly a "Pathfinder Society book". The in-world Society is one of the factions in there, to be sure, but it doesn't have much relevance to the organized play environment, also called Pathfinder Society.

And the Aspis Consortium is reknown for disassembling magical items and stealing their dwoemers for the Consortium's profit.

I thought that the Consortium's goal with this feat is only to smuggle magic items. Is there a post/FAQ/errata expanding this use to allow for "stealing their dweomers"?

(this is the same question as the one in this thread)

I'm so sorry. I had to.
