Ok guys, let's see who is here: first five persons that will post here will get a redeem code to download PFRPG rd for FREE. be quick! (i need your email to send you the code)

Looks like you're giving PFR a run for its money. So far I like what I see.

Let's say that i think that you should not pay N times to get a complete app. That's why PFRPG rd is totally complete and you have to pay just one time to have her.

My name at gmail dot com. I agree with harmor, this looks like a great competitor to PFR. Looking forward to checking it out.

I bought it. It looks and works great. So, you will be adding the Bestiary 3 in the January time frame? Also, I noticed under Getting Started: Ability Scores: Strength, you left off the (STR).

Thanks for a great app!

When bestiary 3 will be available on paizo prd, it will be available in PFRPG rd. ;)
If you want, please put a review on appstore. this will really help me and the project.

Nice presentation. What do you use to record the app? I wonder if you should have a separate video or part of the video for the iPad?

On the "Index" page for the Bestiary, can you make the letters at the top larger (they are hard to click with my fat fingers). Or if possible have that little A-Z scrollbar on the right like you have in your Contacts? It looks like this is a browser so you may not be able to add that control.

I will try to create that control. I don't know i i can do it on a webView, but i'm confident that i will. ;) i have an idea to do that. :) Well, what do you think about the app?

I will make a video for iPad too, and i made this video with cycorder(a cydia app) + iMovie on mac.

Have you considered adding a "combined paged" from several sources?

For example a page with checkable turn on/off sources (a gear button in the top right), with all the Feats. Similar to what you did in the iSpellCaster app for spells.

Granted you have the search feature so this isn't that big a deal.

Consider links between the sources. For example if under "Basic" I go to Fighter it would be nice to have a link to the "Advanced -> Core Classes -> Fighter"

I love the hierarchical index of the PFSRD. Consider adding more levels. E.g. Basic -> Races -> Dwarves, Elves, etc...

Oh wait...just noticed the in-page Index button!!! Awesome. No more in-page searches necessary.

But i will do it in any case. :) i didn't it before because i wanted to know how the app runs before adding more features. ^^

It works well. The side menu makes navigation very easy. The letter header links in the magic items section didn't work for me, to bring that to your attention.

One thing that I like about the other product that seems to have inspired you is the abiltiy to add in my own information. I'm currently playing Kingmaker and the ability to quickly refer to the Kingdom rules is invaluable.

What do you think could help the app to be better? a pdf reader? you would like to add a txt file? Tell me and i will try to do it in the best way that i can.

I don't think it needs a pdf reader, but the ability to include cutom html or txt files would be massively useful. It's one of the best things I see in the PFR program. I'm not technical enough to know how easy it is, but you did ask.

Very easy. ;)

An offline browser and if possible be able to index and search like the other pages.

WOW this is a great feature. I will do that as soon as possible. (i just need to figure out the best way to do that)

According to you wich is the best way to insert your data inAPP?? I was thinking to link (i grab and then store html to have this in locale) + iTunes sync.
You could grab html, text documents, pdf. What do you think about it?

A hyperlink to an external source would be fine...don't need to get fancy.

This one is easy. ;) at the end of the month you will have it. it is a great idea.

Bestiary 3 is coming. Stay tuned.

Submitted to apple new PFRPG with Bestiary 3. i need more time to create the "search history" function, and custom contents function. I'm sorry for the late.

Learn from companies like Blizzard. Its better to be late and have a quality product than to rush the product out with so many bugs people start looking for alternatives.

"It'll be done when its done and ready."

My recommendation is don't rush it; furthermore, don't stretch yourself too thin.

Its better to under promise and over deliver than the ladder.

I'm agree.

I want the app understanding witch kind of file you are giving her as custom content. i was thinking to set as supported documents pdf, images, html urls, and maybe xls. i'm studying the best way to do that, but i'm confident that it will not take longer than a month... i hope. ^^ i'm sorry again.

Update including bestiary 3 is now available on the appstore.
Enjoy it.

i'm working to have "Psionic Unleashed" inside the app. ^^

I'm having an issue with using the other books .i purchased all of the extra books on my iPad but it now when I go to use another book it wants to charge me again

I'm sorry, but you are talking about PFR i'm afraid. My app is PFRPG rd, and i don't sell books. i only sell the app at 4$, then all books are free, and update too. I'm sorry for your issue, but this is just not on my app.

You should talk with ufisk (developer of pfr. My app is pfrpg rd) ^^

I'm the developer of the PFR app. Please don't hesitate to contact me (thomas@ufisk.no) if you have any problems.

Oh, hi.

I think anyway that when you will try to buy apple will say you "you already buy the product".

Unfortunately inAPP is not under the complete control of developers (and they are very easy to crack if you don't use an external server for receipt validation, that's one of many reason that i don't want to use them). If you bought a product apple will not charge you again. this is sure.

(Unless the product was created as consummable. in that case you will be charged any time you try to buy, but i don't think that PFR does that).

Have you considered consolidated list pages?

For example: General Feats (only the first, third, and fourth columns)

A page like the above with short descriptions and one of those A-Z scrollbars like what you see in your Contact List.

Consolidated lists for things like spells, monsters, feats, classes, skills, equipment, and magical items would be useful as a new "Top level, Lists" book.

These "lists" would have 3 columns, name, short description, and source that summarized from ALL sources (thus the 3rd column).

That's just my 2cp.

I did a thing like that in my iSpellCaster, but the DB structure was completely different. I don't know if i could do this thing. I will try to.

Does it properly support iPad screens? or is this really just an iPhone app?

it is iPad optimized. You can see it from screenshots on appstore. This is an universal app (iphone and iPad).

If you can't easily get the Contact List scroll bar then I would be happy with large A-Z hyperlinks at the top. The reason for large text is so that its easy to click with.

If you had something like at the top of the table summaries that would be great.

Noted. i will do that.

A great product that I make extensive use of. While I have most of the Pathfinder books on PDF on my netbook, having the whole SRD in one place, with a very efficient search system and in-page indexes is very handy. Nowadays, the only hardcopy book I bring with me to my games is the Core Rulebook, I use this and the PDF's for everything else.

I did notice that in the Bestiaries, if you have a monster with subcategories (such as with the demons, the devils and the like), tapping on the individual type in the list will bring you to the main header, not to the actual individual monster. Also, when I bring up the Spell Lists from the core rulebook and scroll down to the Spells by Class section, if I tap on one of the class spell links (at least they look like links, they are blue and tapping one highlights it) the link does nothing at all. I'm using the version for the iPhone.

Other than those two minor issues, I've no complaints and plenty of praise for this app. Well done, sir, well done.

Minor typo in this search results (notice the html entity):

Typo

love the app.
wondering about unchained... will it be added to the app?

this app still supported?

unchained?
