Oh yeah! It is ON!
Someone should link to all my prior motivational threads.
I firmly believe this is an amazing experience, even just submitting and participating. I won't repeat myself.
Get to work on those wondrous items!!!! Your only regret will be NOT entering.
So who can be the first to comprehensively link my most motivational posts?

I am very excited...I think I do well with monsters, and I think the organization is a great opportunity to do something new.
But...that's all for then. Right now, I have to touch up the best Wondrous Items I've ever entered, because previous years haven't been good enough. So here's hoping I've learned, and can humble myself and learn some more!
I'm tempted into entering for my first time.
Reason being I will not know my school schedule in the winter semester or if I'll have time to go all the way (if by skill and beginners luck).
I'm ever so ready. I've been paying a lot of attention to little and large developments, and have been honing my entry since February this year. I'm PSYCHED!

While I'm sad to see the villian rounds out, it's great to see design a monster back, and an organziation is fun and new - it reminds me a bit of design a country from the very first Superstar.
I can't wait, my favorite gaming time of year has begun! Good luck to everyone!

I really liked the country round in Superstar 2008, and in fact one of the best entries from that round is now an official part of Golarion. That's right, Zavaten Gura, Land of the Stained Peaks, can now be found along the edges of the Crown of the World, north and east of Mendev. See the Crown of the World gazetteer in AP #51 The Hungry Storm for details, and thanks to James Mackenzie for making such a cool country!

Round 1 Rules wrote:
Entries must be submitted through the submission tool at paizo.com/rpgsuperstar beginning at 2 PM Pacific time on December 2, 2011, and must be received by 2 PM Pacific time on December 30, 2011. Judges will announce the top 32 entries on January 17, 2012.
OK one little bit of round 1 errata to clear up... the calendar says entries are due 1/6/2012, but the round one rules say 12/30/2011.

Uhhhh...yeah. "What Clark, Matt, Joel, Jason, Josh and Scott said!"
Seriously, just entering RPG superstar can be your first step to design and development, where failure and feedback can be more valuable than a lucky break into a subsequent round.
Best of luck to all entrants and I look forward to the deep and profound brain things inside my head that will be nourished by everyone's ideas and contributions.
ONWARD!

I overheard the phrase 'rock formation' in our epic game tonight and immediately thought of you. THere was another good one but I don't remember it right now.

Go for it! You have the same time as all the rest of us. You can always skip things like sleep, WoW, sleep, gaming, sleep, Grey's Anatomy and sleep. :)
I can't find a feedback thread from 2008 and it's time for me to give my 2-year-old a bath, so I'll leave that for a little later. Or someone else could have a look.
There's also a critique thread from last year (albeit not involving Clark as a critic, as far as I recall) that should be most instructive in preparing for this year. You can find that here. It will be especially useful for anyone who is under any illusions as to the ability of the judges to be kind and caring when they reject an item; they simply don't (and can't) have the time or the emotional energy. Still, I'm firmly of the belief that the harsh criticism is better than no feedback at all (which, really, is the only other option).
