Being Selfish, Picking My Own Class

Advice

For the last few years I have never cared about the class, and have filled what ever role the party needed most.
But for the Jade Regent, I decided to pick my own, and try something I have never done before. But before I pick, I wanted to know if any of these classes in actuality sucks, and/ or if someone can give me their advice on them.
The party currently has a ranger (archer) and a fighter (2-handed weapon).

I am thinking of playing a Ninja, a Tetori, or a Aberrant Sorceror specializing in touch (Necromancy) spells (with a pinch of control spells of course). What are your opinions on these?

Ninja=YUCK!!

Tetori=Awesomesause!!
Aberrant Sorcerer =Pretty cool

Just my opinons.

The ninja is very fun, and if you go to flank with the fighter you'll do good damage thanks to sneak attack, i'd say comparable to the fighter even.
The Ninja Tricks are also pretty awesome.

I think you'll still be behind a wizard or something though, but that goes for pretty much every class :)

Can't tell you anything about the other classes, but I think a touch spell focused caster can be dangerous as you have to be very close to the people with the big swords and you basicly have no armor. Also your BAB will be low as sorcerer so the higher you get the worse you'll hit with your touch attacks (but you ignore their armor and shield, so it may balance out).

RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16

I think you posted them in the order I would rate them. Ninja is good, Tetori is probably good as long as you face foes in your weight class that aren't made of spikes or fire (I don't know about Jade Regent, so who's to say), and a Sorcerer would be good too, but I can't recommend focusing on delivering melee touch attacks for reasons Quatar has mentioned.

I dig the idea of the Sorcerer, but what the heck is a Tetori?

Grapple focused Monk from Ultimate combat. Make sure you've got the eratta for the Tetori as several of his abilities are changed owing to original cuts not making it through to his abilities.

Silver Crusade

A Tetori is a Monk who specialises in grappling.

EDIT: Appropriately for this thread it appears that I have been ninja'd

Actually despite what a lot of people have talked about I think the idea of the Aberrant bloodline sorcerer sounds incredibly fun, I almost did that for this game I am currently playing. By 3rd level you can touch foes that at that CR usually cant reach you. and it scales with level! Talking about the stretch armstrong bloodline power.

Long Limbs (Ex): At 3rd level, your reach increases by 5 feet whenever you are making a melee touch attack. This ability does not otherwise increase your threatened area. At 11th level, this bonus to your reach increases to 10 feet. At 17th level, this bonus to your reach increases to 15 feet.

The feats aren't the best in the world but every caster can do with improved initiative and combat casting as bonus feats.

And we have a witch in the party who uses fleshworm infestation through her familiar on about every big baddie, fleshworm infestation= your AC sucks now, make a save, now your action economy sucks too.

Sczarni

You can also buff that Dex up to help not only with your AC but take Weapon Finesse and you should be good!
