Missus says I'm go. I'll go ahead and draw up 3 scenarios to run. Hot diggity!

Sovereign Court

I'll sign up to run in the 2pm and 6pm ... 10am is just too damn early for a Saturday morning. ;)

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Okay, so I wanna run We Be Goblins. Otherwise, what's the consensus on what we ought to run?

Silver Crusade 4/5

Thanks to all the guys who came out last night. There were five players while I GMed, we ran threw PFS Intro II.

Eaghen: Good to finally meet you and connect a face to the screen name.

dinketry wrote:
Let me spell out the specifics. The convention is on both Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 11th. Gaming will ONLY take place on May 11th (Sat). There will be three 4-hour sessions at 10AM, 2PM, and 6PM.

Great to here from ya Dink!

I believe you have your dates mixed up Friday is the 11th and Saturday is the 12th. If I am correct then I can run on the 12th as I have the day off I will run Intro I-III so that has all the Intros covered :)

And I'll let everyone know, that is an APL night, so the location of our meeting is changed to GeekOut for that night as all the GMs will be running games there, and we need to show our support for a local convention.

Thorynn: Can you open up the Warhorn to registration and give us a few slots? I will run an Intro at 10am, 2pm, & 6PM.

10am - Intro I: In Service to Lore
2pm - Intro II: To Delve the Dungeon Deep
6pm - Intro III: A Vision of Betrayal

Silver Crusade 5/5

Dink - whatup homeskillet?!?!

I signed up for 2pm and 6pm. I'll run Dalsine Affair and something new probably something 1st season.....

I'll be looking forward to it.

Peace, Luth out....

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Okay, so we have the Intros covered by Jake, Luthril is going to do the Dalsine and (insert here), I want to do We Be Goblins and the Penumbral Accords and (insert here). Don't know what that would be. Zylph? What's your pleasure?

Sovereign Court

Well, since we have folks with 3rd and 4th level characters (and a couple of 5ths), I would love to run a tier 3-4 or 4-5 for one of the slots, probably the 6pm (in case anyone is one or two sessions form leveling). Let me see if I have any scenarios that have both 1-2 and 3-4 (or 4-5); I could prep for both tiers for both sessions that way.

Scarab Sages 1/5

OK, so the GeekOut Warhorn is back up and running. Kind of. Its a weird site to Admin. Anyway, lemme know what you wanna run and when, and I'll setup the slots:

GeekOut Warhorn

Scarab Sages 1/5

Also, I'll be running a 0-level Dungeon Crawl Classics mod for the early risers at 10am, and again at 6pm for you non-morning people. I ran it for some peeps last week and we had a blast. Don't get to attached to your 0-level peons, the lethality rate is high. But you start with 2-4 guys, so it all balances out, right? Plus then you can take their stuff. Wealth by attrition!

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Should we consider staggering the games? We all know how frequently they run over the allotted time.

Scarab Sages 1/5

I would be happy to, in fact, I think it's wise to, but I'm not sure how long we have the venue. Not to mention I'm not exactly sure what the venue is. Rumor is its the Renaissance downtown? A ballroom maybe? Please share details as you find them.

Sovereign Court

I think the time slots were given by the folks at Multiverse, so it may be best to contact them to see how flexible they actually are.

Scarab Sages 4/5

If you need help with Warhorn let me know and I can talk you through setting it up. Its not bad at all once you get going.

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Role-players have one of the ballrooms at the Renaissance Hotel from 9AM - 10PM for gaming. I don't know how strict they're going to be with respect to time. Please note that they'll likely have other games (including 4e, blecch) going at the same time.

I agree with the suggestion of over-lapping games to maximize potential PF tables, but there just might not be space. I'd make certain to check the Multiverse site to be sure, as zylphryx has so sagely suggested.

I knew I could count on you crazy Ashevillains. Thanks.

Dink- Can I borrow your copy of "We Be Goblins?" for this?

Yes, but you've got to use your goblin voice.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Um, DUH. That's the entire point.

I may run that ***** twice. That's how much I love my Goblin Voice.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Okay then. Thorynn, sign me up for 10 AM WE BE GOBLINS, then 2 PM Penumbral Accords, and then 6 PM WE BE GOBLINS.

Gotta rest my vocal chords in between those two slots. Goblin voice is taxing.

Scarab Sages 1/5

Alright, Strange, I've got your slots setup on the site. You have to sign up as judge. Jake has already signed up to judge his intro slots. I've got my two DCCRPG slots.

Zylphryx, lemme know what you wanna run and I'll setup the slots. That goes for anyone else who wants to GM. If you wanna play, register at warhorn and let's fill these tables! Thanks guys!

Scarab Sages 1/5

I had to adjust the slots, so Jake, you'll have to re-sign up as judge for intro III. Other than that we should be good.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Alrighty. I'm ready and Raring to go. I hope I can steer some n00bz to my table for We Be Goblins- it's a great way to get into Pathfinder.

Scarab Sages 1/5

Yeah! You've got a player signed up for the 10am already! There *will* be Goblin voices, oh yes... WE BE GOBLINS!

Liberty's Edge 2/5

My wife would make a helluva Goblin. Wonder if she'd be willing to come play?

Silver Crusade 5/5

Thorynn I'm signed up for Dalsine Affair at 2pm and Among the Living for 6pm but I can't find a way too add them to your warhorn thingy

Scarab Sages 1/5

Slots added. If you're registered on warhorn, sign in, then sign up as judge! Thanks Luth!

Dark Archive 2/5

i can run city of strangers part one and two if needed

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Wow, the response has been impressive.

Let me make a suggestion: to all of those GMs out there who have volunteered to run 3 scenarios in the day - maybe limiting to running just 2 slots would....

a) provide other GMs an opportunity to run a session without 6 Pathfinder games going on at once, and

b) provide you GMs an opportunity to play!

The only exception to that would be the Intro Steps adventures, but maybe switching out a GM for one of those 'Steps' would be a good idea, unless Jake REALLY wants to run all three and get no chance to play during GeekOut.

I see on the Warhorn site that Jake, Strange Packages, Thorynn, and Luthril have games scheduled.

That means Stu, zylphryx, and anyone else still need GMing slots.

Ideas? Rants? Crackpot notions? Random insults?

Liberty's Edge 2/5

I've just set up the event, people let me know what you want to add, and I guess since this is my baby I'll be responsible for making sure the paperwork gets done.

What the hell have I just signed up for!?

Oh yeah, I signed up for THIS!!!!

Scarab Sages 1/5

Well done, Strange! As for Stu and Zylphryx, there is no try, only GM. Let me know what you guys want to run and when, and I'll setup the slots. Thanks guys! This will be fun!

I agree with dink I said I would do all three because Stu and I are the only two that have run Intros in the Lodge :) and I frankly love running them :P

I was starting to see the same problem dink mentioned, we are going to have way to many tables, I have been to a few conventions and even GMed at one that the RPG room had way more tables scheduled then actually ran, I sure hope this event is different and we should be prepared for a great turnout but let's pace ourselves.

I still want you guys to leave me two slots as they are the scenarios I want to GM for this event but If someone want's to take one off my hands I'd be grateful.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Well, maybe Luthril and Zylph can split time and only run one each? Or I can hand off Penumbral Accords to someone else?

The Exchange 2/5

Since I've already played Penumbral Accords, I could run it.

Scarab Sages 1/5

Its up to you guys. If you want to sign up as judge for a slot, please do. If the scenario/slot you want to GM isn't up yet, lemme know here and I'll add it. Also, if you wanna play, sign up as a player. Those of us with SCARAB experience can help any who have trouble with warhorn. I think its going to be a really fun event, especially if we can get a really good APL turn out.

Hey, did we ever decide on a logo? It would be awesome to start representin' at Cons.

Silver Crusade 4/5

I sent a PM to all of the GMs about some further intel, If I missed you please let me know and I'll let ya in on the info.

I kinda burned out on the logo quest. I'd still like to do it, but opinions are like sniffing paint thinner: ok in infrequent, recreational doses, but too much can be damaging.

Scarab Sages 1/5

Yeah, totally understandable. Logo design by committee is pretty tough. I'd still like to do t-shirts at some point tho. Especially for the wyvern's tale opening, if some of the guys end up helping out for that.

How about this, I'll revisit it and do like three designs based on what we've seen so far. Then we all vote on #1, #2, #3 or none of the above and we stick with that. I'll try to get the options out this weekend.

Scarab Sages 1/5

Wow, sounds awesome! Thanks for all your hard work, man.

Sczarni

are the Meetings still at hillside as I would love to play but can't
come to Hillside to play. someone told me that the pfs was looking for
a new place to hold meetings

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Okay, if Zlyph will tell me what he's running and put it up on Warhorn, I'll add it to the collection.

QC, I appreciate the offer, but I think I'll just iron-man my way through my 3 sessions. I drew my maps up today, with a little help from the missus, and I have to say, they look pretty solid. She's good with the detail work.

I've got my paths printed out, and read through, and I'm ready with extra pens, paper, dice, character sheets, character numbers... you name it, I got it going on. I guess I'll need to print out the event sheets as we get closer to the time so that I can hand those out.

Man alive, this is gonna be sweet.

Thorynn, Luth, if you need to get up with me about anything, PM me and I'll send you my cell number. Pretty sure Zylph and Jake already have it.

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Hey Zeb, the next PFS meeting will be at the GeekOut con on May 12th at the Renaiisance Hotel in Asheville. Come out and play!

Silver Crusade 5/5

Dink isn't there a meeting this coming saturday the 28th? Or did we cancel that?

Liberty's Edge 2/5

I haven't cancelled or confirmed that date, but I am gearing up hard for Geek Out. That said, I do want to play more Buliwyf (3rd level) or Laurel (2nd level now).

But I'll have to see if Zylph will be running our game this coming Friday... it's hard for me to get two days of gaming from the missus.

at what time

Liberty's Edge 2/5

10 AM to 10 PM, 3 different sessions with multiple tables per session.

Sovereign Court

OK, for Geek Out I would be interested in running 3-18: The God's Market Gamble for the 2pm slot and 3-16: The Midnight Mauler for the 6pm slot (to give an option for mid level folks ... it is a 3-7 range scenario).

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Added to the list- consult with Thorynn about adding them to Warhorn.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Do we reckon we're going to need higher level matters than what we currently have?

Ok, my final entry in logo design is here. I'd like to be able to get a shirt together for conventions, but we may already be too late for Geek Out. If you don't particularly like any of them, then vote option 7:none of the above. You won't make me cry, I promise.

I vote for option #2.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

#1.
