We will be passing through Asheville on Tuesday evening around 9pm and you should get home Monday evening around 6pm. That is what our times were last year.

Several people are already planning on traveling with us, the more the merrier and all are welcome. Just let me know as we have limited seating.

Sorry Steve :p

Will you be passing through Kingsport on the way (a straight shot up I26)? It would be extra awesome if I could catch a ride without a 90 mile drive to Asheville in the opposite direction.

Hello,

I'm new to the pathfinder society scene and wanted to ask for some direction. Please forgive this post if it isn't in the best place.

I attended last Saturday's pathfinder society game event at the Wyvern's Tale and played in a game gm'ed by Michael T. It was really well done and I enjoyed myself. Unfortunately, I just can't play on Saturdays during either the afternoon or evening gaming slot.

So, I'm looking to find a home game to play weekly or biweekly. I live in Hendersonville but can commute to Asheville or other reasonably close areas.

If anyone has any ideas or can direct me to a better place to request this please let me know. I appreciate your time.

Thanks!

David

Hi David!

In addition to Saturday Lodge events, PFS games are held at the Wyvern's Tale pretty much every Friday evening. I, too, am limited in my availability on Saturdays, and I can vouch that no sizable meteors have struck the store during a Friday night game session since I began attending at the beginning of the year.

Oh -- and we have a good time playing Pathfinder. That's kind of important.

Cheers,
Phil

So here's what we have going on this weekend (yep, no preamble, it's a busy morning):

Shades of Ice, Part III: Keep of the Huscarl King - This season 2 scenario for tiers 1-5 has your PCs searching the Realm of the Mammoth Lords for and Ulfen King's burial crypt to find a weapon of immense power. Problem is, you may not be the only ones looking for it. This table currently has 1 open seat.

530pm-930pm
Silent Tide - This season 0 scenario for tiers 1-5 has the PCs dealing with undead in Absalom. Welcome to the Puddles district, Pathfinders. This table is currently full.

The Dalsine Affair - This season 2 scenario for tiers 1-7 is freaking deadly. Like from max HP to -3 in a single hit deadly (I'm looking at you James). It's also one of the most fun scenarios I have played even though my PC almost died a gruesome death. This table currently has 4 open seats.

SATURDAY APRIL 12, 2014
1230pm-430pm
Before the Dawn, Part I: The Bloodcove Disguise - This season 2 scenario for tiers 1-7 has the PCs heading into the Mwangi Expanse ... into an Aspis Consortium fill town. This is the first of a two part series. This table is currently full.

My Enemy's Enemy - This season 4 scenario for tiers 3-7 has the PCs back in Magnimar ... looking for the person or persons responsible for a series of crimes and leaving evidence to implicate the Society. This table currently has 4 open seats.

Glories of the Past, Part II: The Price of Friendship - This season 4 scenario for tiers 5-9 has the PCs heading to the Orc-held city of Urgir. This sounds like such a good idea ... This table currently has 5 open seats.

530pm-930pm
The Beggar's Pearl - This season 1 scenario for tiers 1-7 has the PCs looking for a lost Dwarven gallery in the Aspodell Mountains. Throw in a cult of Darkland critters and a tie in to the First Realm and you have trouble. This table is currently full.

The Heresy of Man: Part I - The First Heresy - This season 2 scenario for tiers 5-9 has the PCs going to Rahadoum. You get to smuggle in some contraband ... a cleric of Sarenrae. Remember, if you go to Rahadoum, you will die ... hmmm ... never mind, that was Zahadoum ... Shadow planet from Babylon 5 ... of course, I suppose you could die in Rahaoum as well ... This table currently has 2 open seats.

The God's Market Gamble - This season 3 scenario for tiers 1-5 has the PCs trying to find the person responsible for various relics going missing in transit into Absalom. This table currently has 5 open seats.

Now that you know what is going on, why don't you go to Warhorn and sign up?

If we choose to add an hour to our trip by swinging through Asheville, would any of you fine gamers be interested in hopping on? Price per person varies based on how many total passengers there are, but it will be approximately $250 total per person for the trip there and back. Hello Fellow gamers in the pathfinder lodge. I just looked on Facebook and saw Luth's attempt to reach us for the games we signed up for on Pathfinder on Sat. I owe everyone we inconvenienced by not showing up a sincere apology. I forgot to remove our names when other plans went from tentative to concrete. Please accept this humble apology. -Richard

Was this in reference to your earlier questions about Warhorn? Assuming you have logged in and reached the Lodge calendar, once you click on a game, there should be a counter above and to the right of the scenario description (directly across from the scenario name and its classification as a PFS event). The counter lists how many players are currently signed up to play in that game.

To the right of the counter should be a button, which will bear one of three words: 'Play,' if there are seats available in the game; 'Wait,' if the game is full and you want to line up for any openings; and 'Withdraw,' if you have previously signed up for the game.

Hopefully this helps. If you were asking about something else . . . oops. My bad.

Sovereign Court

Hmmmm ... I think I forgot something yesterday ... but I can't quite recall what it was ...

FRIDAY APRIL 25, 2014
1230pm-430pm
Tide of Morning - This is a season 1 scenario for tiers 1-5. Druids and lorestones and murder and mayhem, oh my! Never trust a scenario with the words "Tide of" in the title ... just sayin'. This table is currently full.

TBD - Players choice - What the?!?! Well apparently one of the GMs playing in the Tide of Morning will step up to run what ever folks want if we get overflow! Crazy, right? This table currently has 6 open seats.

Storming the Diamond Gate - Season 3 for tiers 3-7. The PCs are tasked with finding the back door to the Hin Jao Tapestry to secure it from becoming a means for the Aspis Consortium to exploit the Society's private adventuring domain. This table currently has 3 open seats.

Destiny of Sands, Part II: Race to Seeker's Folly - Season 5 for tiers 1-5. This is part 2 of 3 scenarios in the Destiny of Sands Trilogy. It is recommended to play them in order, but is not required. The PCs find themselves in a race through the deserts of Osirion for an ancient artifact. This table currently has 2 open seats.

1230pm-430pm

This season 2 scenario for tiers 5-9 has the PCs going to Rahadoum.

Fate of the Fiend - Season 5 for tiers 7-11. A stash of battle golems were recently uncovered and reports from those who found them have ceased arriving. Can the PCs find the golems before they fall into enemy hands?
This table is currently full.

What was I forgetting? Ah well, must not have been a big deal ... but getting over to Warhorn and signing up for a game is a big deal.

I'd like to thank Jake, Stu, Caedmon, Michael, Donald and Andy G for playing in my GM 101 session this past Tuesday. Looking forward to GMing at WT and running some of the scenarios I've played so far.

Hey Dain, it's almost that time again.... anything happening this weekend? I'm sure everyone's checking warhorn to sign up for Friday and Saturday events!

Sovereign Court

Oh man ... was dealing with server nonsense yesterday and completely spaced on this. Thanks for the reminder!

OK, to be brief, we are looking at the following games (and BE SURE TO SIGN UP ON WARHORN):

Friday May 9, 2014
12:30pm-4:30pm
The God's Market Gamble - a season 3 scenario for tier 1-5. Religious relics are disappearing en route to Absalom. The Society wants you to find out what is happening, who is behind it, and stop them. This one can be particularly deadly, so be forewarned, but definitely a fun scenario. This table currently has 3 seats open.
Library of the Lion - a season 5 scenario for tier 1-5, and could be of interest to Cheliax, Grand Lodge and Taldor faction members. You are searching for knowledge ... in a library? Huh ... ;) Expect a lot of RP opportunities (I ran a barbarian PC through this one and had a blast even though he is not the most socially built PC). This table currently has NO seats open.

5:30pm-9:30pm
The Horn of Aroden - a season 5 scenario for tier 1-5 and could be of interest to Taldor faction members. Go to Brevoy to secure a relic to help unite the army raised by Lady Gloriana Morilla and hasten their arrival to help counter the ever worsening events around the Worldwound. Just be careful of the local politics ... unless you are Taldan, in which case politics should be second nature. Right? There are two tables which currently have 6 total seats open.

Saturday May 10, 2014
12:30pm-4:30pm
Voice in the Void - a season 1 scenario for tier 1-7. This is one of those scenarios set in everyone's favorite building in Absalom ... the Blackros Museum. Help Nigel (again) to figure out what is going on when some of the museum guards go missing. This is a follow up to Mists of the Mwangi. This table currently has 3 seats open.
Heresy of Man, Part II - Where Dark Things Sleep - a season 2 scenario for tier 5-9. Still in Rahadoum, you must find a missing Pathfinder team and stop a wakening evil. Sand and disease and ... This is the second part of the Heresy of Man trilogy. This table currently has 5 seats open.
The Dalsine Affair - a season 2 scenario for tier 1-7. Again? Are the GMs just trying to kill of PCs? OK, so I have given this warning before and I will do so again. This scenario is DEADLY. But it is also FUN! Be forewarned. Set in Oppara, this one will be of interest to Taldor faction members (especially if you remember your early Taldor VC). This table currently has 5 seats open.

12:30pm-9:30pm
Fangwood Keep - this is a module for PCs of levels 3-5. Infiltrate Fangwood Keep and bring a renegade Molthuni commander to justice ... maybe find out why he seized the Keep in the first place ... This one is a fun module and things can go bad REALLY fast (or good REALLY fast). Keep on your toes and use your head. This table currently has 2 seats open.

5:30pm-9:30pm
We Be Goblins - this is a Free RPG Day Module for level 1 pregenerated PCS. So if you want to create a new PC, this short module is a great way to get them started ... without having created the PC yet. Yep, you play goblins. Crazy little gobbos out on a mission. I am really curious to see if the [redacted] get critted with the [redacted] AGAIN (it would be the fifth or sixth table at the APL where it would have happened ... which is just kinda odd). There are two tables which currently have 5 total seats open.
The Stranger Within - a season 5 for tier 5-9 and could be of interest to members of the Andoran, Qadiran, and Sczarni factions. Head to Kaer Maga and stop an assassination plot against the head of the Sczarni faction ... wait, what? This table currently has NO seats open.

Sovereign Court

Voice in the Void on Saturday has been cancelled unfortunately. The GM had a conflict arise and will not be able to run the table. If you were signed up for that game, please head over to warhorn and sign up for one of the two early games.

Grand Lodge

Any other games open for the evening?

Sovereign Court

I am certain we will have the capability to put together an overflow if folks show up in numbers beyond our open seats.

It's that time again Pathfinders! Gaming goodness all weekend at The Wyvern's Tale. Please use WARHORN to sign up for games!

Friday 12:30-4:30
The Devil We Know—Part II: Cassomir's Locker (levels 1-7)
The Pathfinder Society dispatches you to the catacombs called Cassomir's Locker to find the source of a rat cult breeding monstrous vermin. After clearing Cassomir's dank sewers and delving into the dirty dungeons below, will you find the artifact that powers Cassomir's Locker or bring about the destruction of Taldor's most important port? There is 1 open seat

The Frostfur Captives (levels 1-5)
Tasked with escorting a group of **redacted** prisoners from their camp to civilization for interrogation by the Pathfinder Society, you must protect them not only from the beasts and hazards of the wilderness, but themselves. This is a fun scenario, if you've not played it make a request for it! There are no open seats

Friday 5:30-9:00
Shadow's Last Stand—Part I: At Shadow's Door (levels 1-7)
The Shadow Lodge’s assault on the Pathfinder Society has come to a head in the Andoren city of Almas, where renegade Shadow Pathfinders have taken over the Grand Cathedral of Aroden, holding the Pathfinders and Venture-Captain stationed there hostage. You must gain entry into the overrun Pathfinder lodge and put an end to the open warfare within the Society. This one is fun, but not for the faint of heart, it's the source of my first tpk. There is one seat available

In Wrath’s Shadow (levels 3-7)
In the ruins of Xin-Bakrakhan—seat of power of the Runelord of Wrath—the Pathfinder Society stands on the verge of a great discovery, but first the brave agents exploring the ruins must survive ages-old dangers and contemporary threats to return with the knowledge and wealth they’ve unearthed. There are no seats available

Saturday May 24 12:30 - 4:30
Voice in the Void (levels 1-7)
Mystery strikes again at the problem-plagued Blackros Museum in Absalom and its curator, Nigel Aldain, needs your help. When a famed Osirian tomb raider returns to Absalom and disappears in the museum's basement, Aldain fears the worst. When strange sounds echo from below and several of the curator's night watchmen go missing, he panics and begs the Society to investigate the mystery and save his museum from the darkness that infests it. This is a great romp back to that familiar museum with some Cthulhu fun waiting to happen. There is one seat available

The Heresy of Man—Part III: Beneath Forgotten Sands (levels 5-9)
Beneath the desolate deserts of godless Rahadoum, the Pathfinder Society races against time to beat the traitorous Shadow Lodge to an ancient Jistkan citadel. But their rivals aren't the only obstacle in the PCs' way: the long-lost ruins teem with terrible outsiders set on manipulation and destruction, including a self-proclaimed avatar of the div god Ahriman. There is one open seat

Library of the Lion (levels 1-5)
Few societies have so vaunted a tradition of leading crusades as Taldor, yet the constant revisions to its history by scheming factions leaves the truth obscured by countless acts of political modifications. Even the lauded Kitharodian Academy’s texts are riddled with these changes, so when a secretive ally approaches the Pathfinder Society with information about a hidden archive that contains the unaltered histories, the Pathfinders plan a daring infiltration to recover the secrets of Taldor’s past victories so that Mendev might benefit from the discovery. There are no open seats

Destiny of the Sands—Part 3: Sanctum of the Sages (levels 3-7)
Uncovering the secrets of a Jeweled Sage reveals that the others are in grave danger, and the PCs set off after notorious jewel thieves before the criminals can disappear with another priceless treasure. When the trail leads to the sages’ hidden sanctum deep within the Pillars of the Sun, the Pathfinders must draw upon both their own resourcefulness and the ancient historians’ power if they are to preserve a millennia-old organization and Osirion’s past. This is an excellent romp through a major plot line with serious repercussions! There are 3 seats available!

Saturday 5:30-9:30
We Be Goblins Too! (level 3)
Can 4 heroes from the Licktoad tribe integrate into the mighty Birdcrunchers? Perhaps one of you might just become king of the goblins! This table has 10 available openings

The Pallid Plague (levels 1-7)
Reports from Andoran's Darkmoon Vale indicate that a new plague is causing the deaths of untold fey. The Pathfinder Society sends you there to aid the nymph queen in stopping the plague and finding and destroying its source. When the plague spreads to the human population of Falcon's Hollow, the need to find a cure grows more frantic. Can you save the many denizens of Darkmoon Vale from certain death? This table has one opening

Feast of Sigils (levels 7-11)
In Kaer Maga, the mysterious and dangerous cliffside City of Strangers in untamed Varisia, the Pathfinder Society will come face to face with a sect of the cult of Lissala who prey upon the city's most vulnerable denizens to increase their own power. To what end do they conduct the ancient Feast of Sigils ritual, and can the Pathfinders stop them before their evil plans come to fruition? This table has two openings.

Also, be on the lookout for all of June's action. There's Geekout on June 6-8 and Free RPG day events June 21. To sign up for Geekout, use the Asheville PFS Warhorn here. To register for Free RPG Day use The Wyvern's Tale WARHORN.

Thanks man, work has been kinda hectic with the lead up to our live event.

Friday at Geekout is F R E E.... Need we say more?

Sovereign Court

Could you define this "F R E E" of which you speak and upon the impact it may have for those seeking a seat at a table for a Friday game? ;)

Silver Crusade

How hard would it be for me to sneak into a game or two when I have no previous experience with an D&D type game. I have been playing the Adventure Card game (Rise of the Runelords), which has been fantastic and the story and all has really sparked my interest in playing the actually RPG. I have done some research into the rules and class creation system and have even played the little solo adventure in the beginners box, which I understand is a very small fraction of the actual game, but would love to try out the game with experienced players that can help me along. What would I need to research or bring along in order to make my transition into a group as easy on everyone as possible. The last thing I want to do is to slow down or strain the game on any of the players. I really appreciate your time and looked forward to learning this incredible game with you.

Sovereign Court

First, welcome!

Second, anyone with any level of experience can sign up to play any game we are running through our Warhorn page (though I highly recommend playing the low tier games at first simply because it is a lot easier to play with a 1st level PC than with a 7th level PC and all the additional mechanics).

Third, we do have printouts of all the pregen PCs so if you want to hop into a game but have not built your own PC yet, you can still play.

Fourth, if you want to tackle creating your own PC, you can find all the PC build rules in The Guide For Organized Play (it's a free download). As you have some experience with the Beginner's Boxed Set, you may also want to check out the Beginner Box Pathfinder Society Character Creation Guide PDF (another free download which ties back to the BBS rule books). And finally, there is the PRD, and online version of all the rules to aid in the creation of your PC and to dig into the rule set at your convenience (please know that while you should be familiar with the rules, no one knows ALL the rules, so do not feel intimidated by the size of the rules ... most folks really learn as they play ... I've been playing D&D since the 0E small boxed set in 1976 and there are always new things I learn at most tables).

Fifth, welcome again and hope to see you at the gaming table. :)

Sovereign Court

What's going on this weekend? Have you been under a rock or something??!?!

Seriously. This weekend is a weekend of gaming of all sorts. Saturday is FREE RPG DAY after all!

What? You didn’t know?? How in the 9 layers of... OK here’s your rundown.

Friday June 20 (TODAY)

12:30pm – 4:30pm

The Devil We Know, Part IV: Rules of the Swift – Last of the Devil We Know story arc, this tier 1-7 season 1 scenario has you exploring an abandoned prison in Cassomir with an Aspis agent. Abandoned prisons are never good place to be … right up there with abandoned asylums and free floating luxury liners from the turn of the century... (1 seat still available)

Shadow's Last Stand, Part II: Web of Corruption – Get set for adventuring in Andoran in this tier 1-7 season 2 scenario. The leader of the Shadow Lodge is discovered – a mysterious figure known as the Spider. Your investigation to find his or her whereabouts leads you to the pits and pinnacles of Almas... (2 seats available)

5:30pm – 9:30pm

The City of Strangers, Part I: The Shadow Gambit – In this tier 1-7 season 1 scenario, you travel to Kaer Maga only to find the Pathfinder you are looking for has turned up dead. It looks like the Shadow Lodge could be connected... Also, if I remember correctly, this scenario introduces a very memorable, and recurring, NPC. ;) (1 seat available)

The Rebel's Ransom – This tier 5-9 season 2 scenario finds our Pathfinders heading to Osirion. A secret Pathfinder mission has disappeared. Will you find the Pathfinders or something far more sinister? (2 seats available)

The Quest For Perfect, Part III: Defenders of Nesting Swallow – This tier 1-5 season 3 scenario is the final installment of the Quest For Perfection story arc. It also has a quite enjoyable mini-game incorporated into the storyline. Oh and there are tengu... lots of tengu.

You can sign up for the above games at the APL Warhorn site!

Saturday June 21 (Free RPG Day)

OK, so this is FREE RPG DAY and there will be TONS of games going at the WT, too many to list here, actually. But fret not!

You can sign up for any open seats at the Wyvern’s Tale Warhorn site!

No, do not try to sign up for Saturday at the APL Warhorn site.

Also, please know that the WT will be opening their doors at 11am! Even if you cannot get into a game at the store, show up and support your FLGS by, oh I don’t know, maybe buying something to go with the Free RPG Day swag they picked up for you.

Sunday June 22 (Modules!)]/b]

[b]12:30pm – 6:00pm

Masks of the Living God – This tier 2-4 module has you sent to Nirmithas to infiltrate a Razmirian cult stronghold. Infiltration and intrigue … and don’t blow your cover! This is actually a fairly fun module. When I last ran it the final encounter became very cinematic … John Wu would have been proud. ;) (1 open seat)

Murder's Mark – This tier 1-2 module has you investigating a murder at a carnival. Can you find the murderer before the townsfolk tear apart the carnival? Can you … oops, there’s another killing... stop the bloodshed? Can you win the carnival games to become the King of the Carnival? And many kudos to Big James for running with the King of the Carnival concept through many a following scenario. :) (sorry, there are no open seat left)

You can sign up for the modules at the APL Warhorn site!

So that's it... except that with the number of tables we are running this weekend, we actually qualify to give out STUFF! Yep, there will be boons! So come get your game one, try a new game on Saturday (and buy some stuff to go with the Free RPG Day swag the WT bought for all of us), and roll some dice (as long as the game system you play calls for dice). Ah hell, you know what, just roll those dice anyway!

A small goat with a hand-lettered sign that says "NEVAR FORGETT! GRANSMASTERS TORCH WUZ FRAMED" runs past, followed by a rhino.

Shadow Lodge 2/5

On a serious note, thanks so much to the Wyvern's Tale (as usual) for a great Free RPG Day, and thanks to Luth (as usual) for herding the cats for PFS and for a fun weekend! Can't wait until the next one!

Small goat runs back the other way, this time the sign reading YOO CAN'T STAHP THE SIGNAL!. Followed by a rhino.

Silver Crusade 5/5

Pathfinders,

What are your thoughts on the new names and focuses of many of our factions?

Sovereign Court

Not too sure about Cheliax ... that is, I'm not sure why the PFS would hand dangerous artifacts to folks who have ties, directly or indirectly, to the the Infernal Lords of Hell. I understand the need to have the "bad guy" faction, but it still strikes me as a "WTF is the Decemvriate thinking???" turn of events. That said, I do have some PC concepts for that faction. "Dark Archive" is a decent name for the faction though.

Taldor ... going from a faction centered on the concept of what in essence was the high fantasy trope faction to, in many ways, a very young and subtle United Nations. Perhaps it will work, but it is a real flavor change for the faction however it is spun. I was actually hoping for something that would tie in with Princess Eutropia and changing the traditions of Taldor, but we'll see how this one pans out. I'm just glad I managed to retire Sarina before the change as she was very much tied to Taldor directly and wanting to initiate change there in particular. Not sure what I will be doing with my barbarian who was wanting to become an Ulfen Guard ... "Sovereign Court" is a good name considering the factions new goals.

Osirion has potential, and of all the changes seems to tie in best with the "Explore, Cooperate, Report" mentality that the Society has at it's base. It also sounds like it still has some potential upcoming changes as well. Of all the announced changes, I honestly think I am leaning towards this one the most as my preferred change. "Scarab Sages" is a bit of a silly name; I mean, they are looking for those to take up the responsibility of the Jeweled Sages who are no more, in addition to the research and exploration. Maybe it's just the "sages" in the name which is rubbing me the wrong way, seeming too make it almost a forced fit to the Jeweled Sages ...

Andoran ... not really sure what to make of Andoran. "Oh there is corruption within our nation ... let's leave our nation and become an outside force which still wants to root out the corruption in the nation we just broke away from." Seems kinda odd. Of course, the Major is a bit of an ass anyway, so maybe it makes sense when taking that into consideration. I mean, if the corrupt leaders were able to gather info on the Major and the factions actions, it means there are informants within the faction. Breaking away from Andoran does not remove those informants. "Liberty's Edge" just does not do it for me for a name ... it just does not really epitomize the faction's goals.

Qadira ... have they announced the change to Qadira yet? If so, I missed it.

Silver Crusade 3/5 *** Venture-Captain, North Carolina—Asheville

I feel sort of outside the faction discussion, since virtually all of my characters' careers have been spent in Seasons 0-3.

My newly-Confirmed investigator started with the Silver Crusade, but I'll probably switch him to the Scarab Sages. I like the scholarly vibe. It's funny that Dain mentioned not liking the 'sage' part, because 'scarab' bothered me more as a half-hearted effort at keeping a link to Osirion.

I agree on the name, but I figured the reason for the breakaway was that the Major had to report and go through channels -- which were already infected by the aforementioned corruption. Of course, something I haven't experienced in a scenario may contradict my reasoning.

On a more functional level, I'm trying to figure out how my one remaining Andoran-affiliated character will handle this. G'Darm is really passionate about Andoran and the 'Bird Knights.' Leaving them behind to become Patriot Batman doesn't feel right.

It could be due to the corruption in the chain of command ... but I would expect any intelligent "bad guys" in the chain would ensure they had other means of information gathering in place to keep a close eye on those activities which do not make it into "official reports". Considering the Major's dalliances and all the effort to keep them quiet, one would expect he also kept other things quiet he would have preferred not to get into the official report.

EDIT: and yeah, not overly thrilled with the "scarab" part of the scarab sages ... but the "sages" part is the more irksome part of the name for me ...

So first, happy Fourth of July.

Second, once you get done reading this post, go out and enjoy the holiday! I plan on hitting a pool as soon as I am done posting this, so then let’s get on with it!

Friday July 4

No gaming scheduled. Did you not read the second sentence above. Go outside and have fun!

Saturday July 5
12:30pm – 4:30pm

Master of the Fallen Fortress - This Free RPG Day module is for 1st level PCs (which means you can play it for credit over and over and over and … you get the idea). Explore an abandoned tower outside of Absalom, find it’s secrets and plunder it’s treasure, you adventurers you! Personally, I think this one would be a good lead in to The Confirmation, but you’ll need to play it to find out why (if you don’t already know). There are three open seats currently.

The Wardstone Patrol – This is a season 5 scenario for tier 3-7. Help protect the border with the Worldwound by patrolling the Wardstones. Sounds simple right? Wrong. There are two open seats currently.

Thornkeep: The Accursed Halls – This is the tier 1-2 section for Thornkeep. Delve into the top layer of the ruins in this first installment. Unfortunately, you are not the first ones to gain entry to this section ... a group of goblins has beaten you in here. Keep your eyes open and your wits sharp. There is one open seat currently.

5:30pm – 9:30pm

The Frozen Finger of Midnight – This is a season 0 scenario for tiers 1-5. An Ulfen envoy is stricken by a cold withering curse. Can you find the cure, or will you succumb to the same fate? There is one open seat currently.

Red Harvest – This season 3 scenario is for tiers 7-11. In Tian-Xia, there are feuds, just as there are in the other parts of Golarion. Except this time you are stuck in the middle of it. Pick your way carefully through this situation, as the success of your mission depends on it. There is one seat currently open.

The Merchant's Wake – This is a season 5 scenario for tiers 1-5. A Qadiran Trade Prince has died and you are sent to represent the Society. However, such a power vacuum can lead to dangerous situations as others vie to gain more power and influence for themselves. Can you stop this situation from turning into a disaster? There is one seat available currently.

And there you have it! Be sure you sign up at the APL Warhorn site ... if you are not signed up, you are not guaranteed a seat!

Now go have a hot dog, drink a beer (if you are old enough to do so ... otherwise it's sweet tea for you!) and go have a great day!
