Two excellent games tonight. Thank you, Rainy Day Ninja for an excellent rendition of Fortress of the Nail! That was awesome and good fun. Who knew that getting knee-deep in the biznass of 400 hellknights could be such a fun experience? And to our party: the oracle kept our monkey fool asses alive and the ninja showed us all the true power of faulty invisibility potions!
And to Andy: thank you! Most enjoyable death ever! To be literally quartered by an ape god. Wow. Rurik made it to Valhalla, had some drinks, humbled all his ancestors with his tale of glory in arms (except for his great-great-gramps who punched his ticket clubbing a kracken with a wet fireball scroll), got rezed, and still made it to work on Monday.
This is the reason I scaled back my drinking to game every weekend. Now Rurik has to have a better death tale when he gets back to the afterlife. I'm thinking he's gonna need to be on fire AND attacking a major league god next time.

Indeed! No PFS for me yesterday, but Chez Geek was fun and for those in the Gloom game, I figured out the additional rules for the expansions last night (simpler than I thought they would be).
and a reminder: Next APL Weekend starts the Module Run! Three have signed up so far, so there is still space. If you want to start a new PC, this would be a solid way to do so.

A needed clarification to the rules on dying for all y'all. A character who dies during a scenario may be brought back to life during the scenario (if possible) and may still complete the scenario for full XP and Prestige Points, but that's the only way you can die during a scenario and still get full Prestige Points.
If you die during the scenario, and you've completed at least 3 of the encounters in the scenario, you get the XP. If you didn't, or if you die before completing that 3rd encounter, you don't get the XP. Either way, if you die during the scenario and are raised after the scenario is over, you get NO Prestige Points. None. Zip. Nada. Faction mission or main mission - Nil. This all assumes that you're getting raised at the end of the scenario. Also, in order to be raised, you must be raised (or make plans to be raised) with the GM who killed you right after the scenario in which you were killed.
If you die during the scenario, and you don't get raised, you get nothing. An obvious point, but I want no misunderstanding.
And finally, if you die or if you complete the scenario, you cannot play the scenario again for credit. You can GM the scenario for credit, but that's it. I hope this helps to clarify things. Contact me with questions!

Chelaxians do not worship devils. We use them for the betterment of society. Also, we are very honorable.
Cheliax enforces the worship of Asmodeus upon its citizenry. As he is indeed a devil (albeit one which has achieved deification), you nation is a devil worshiping nation. There is no debate upon that point, though as your chosen deity is the Master of Lies, I suppose you could throw up strawmen all day.
The people of Cheliax may also dispute your apparent definition of "betterment of society". Devils are used to terrorize those citizens who do not wish to be under the rule of devil worshipers. They are used to enforce laws, including the worship of a deity to whom few would willingly submit. "Betterment" indeed.
Finally, holding to the letter of the law while working loopholes to get around the spirit of the law is not honorable. Insulting those who have rescued you from the field of battle is not honorable. This word you have used does not mean what you think it means. Perhaps a dictionary for your next birthday, poor cousin? One that has not been apparently "updated" by your infernal masters? ;)

Based off the Faction mission status reports, my money is on Cheliax and Osirion ... but if war broke out between Taldor and Qadira (again) that would do it for those two.
Of course, Taldor has the aging Crown Prince with no male heir. Princess Eutropia has made clear she intends to take the throne which could lead to civil war.
Cheliax has far too much dealings with devils for it's own good, so that is always a potential for downfall.
The Grand Lodge could shatter if the Decemiverate is indeed toppled from within.
Osirion could just cut off ties if the Ruby Prince dies.
Qadira would really need to enter into conflict with Taldor to get pulled out ... unless they were to be attacked by some other nation (Tian Xa, Vudrun, etc). Or the Aspis Consortium could simply make a better offer ...
Shadow Lodge could be done in by those agents who remained "true to the cause" from it's original intent.
The Szcarni could decide to lay low, what with all the activity in their homeland causing disruption.
The Silver Crusade could get pulled to deal with the Worldwound ... there is the upcoming AP surrounding that area, so it could work as a tie in.
The Lantern Lodge could decide these foreigners are not worth the trouble and simply form their own network (leading to a three way conflict of groups ... PFS, AC and the new LL group).
Andoran ... hmmm ... Andoran could actually attack either Galt (in a doomed attempt to put an end to the madness there) or Cheliax (to strike at their former oppressors and a nation where slavery is freeely accepted).
There are tons of possibilities, so we'll have to wait until the announcement happens.

I'm back! and the Shadow Lodge shall never fall to the likes of the Aspis Consortium! But I have a quick question, Will we be having a Info table for Geekout? Just curious.
Edit: Also If anyone is interested in giving GMing a go, the Shadow Lodge games on Friday's are always open to new people. I can't run this week, trying to get some things squared away, but i can defiantly show up. It would make my week a whole lot less stressful if I don't have to run. But ill be sure to prep something just incase.

Andy, count on me for GMing one game... Morning or evening. I prefer the low level ones, so that works. How about Black Waters (S0-06)?

Just heard back from the Geekout folks. We've got ourselves a table.

I say let them all burn. I think it's clear the Heidmarches are out to murder every Pathfinder they can swindle into running errands for them...
Maybe the ASheville PathfInder Society Consortium is hiring?

This "Descent of Johlee" storyline post-Runecarved Key is excellent. Very Dark Phoenix-esque. Kudos, all around.
