Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

UPDATED Faction Tally (as of 3/16/13, minus one table *cough cough* *Aly*)

10.) 39PP - Taldor

9.) 42PP - Cheliax

8.) 52PP - Qadira

7.) 88PP - Sczarni

5.) 90PP - Silver Crusade

4.) 91PP - Grand Lodge

3.) 134PP - Shadow Lodge

It looks like Shadow Lodge has propelled itself into the "movers and shakers" ranks. And look at the dog-fight from #4 thru #7!!!

As always, I am humbled and proud of the activities of the APL.

And so the sleeping Lion stretches, closing the gap with our unfortunate cousins. Sisters and Brothers of Taldor, the time draws to awaken the Lion from its long slumber and begin the push back to the greatness that was, and will be again, the Might of Taldor!

Ah, I spoke to soon. Our unfortunate cousins have a little stealth to them, stepping back as the Lion stretches. It is no matter, my Countrywomen and Countrymen, we shall rise and overtake our cousins and the Qadrians ... greatness runs in the veins of every Taldan, moreso in those who work actively for the Empire's benefit.

For Taldor and Princess Eutropia!

Dark Archive 3/5

No need to worry, Cheliax is willing to redeem those in need, especially those misled Taldans.

I am quite used to being on top, so this is not a new *ahem* postion, for me...

The Jeromes all hope that when we are done that being able to hunt down and retrieve the Heidmarch wench's head will be the prize.

Hey guys and gals! I live in Asheville, and I was wondering where and when you meet. Would someone be willing to provide me with this information?

Dark Archive 3/5

Our main day is every other Saturday. This Saturday is an off weekend. However, there are games going on all the time.

For sign ups, we use:
Warhorn
We have the levels of the scenarios listed by the name of the scenario.

If you need or want help creating a character, we can help you out.

If you have any other questions let us know.

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Welcome Redaharr!!! Our home is the Wyvern's Tale on Merrimon Avenue in downtown Asheville. Chris will steer you correctly, but may I also mention to you....(and the rest of the APL)....

GEEK OUT?!?!?!?!

(That's our convention that's coming up in May. You should totally sign up to play some awesome games. It's going to be an event not-to-miss.) Also, we've decided to be kind and push back the start time on Sunday's GeekOut game to 930AM. Note this in your scheduling plans.

So, this coming APL (Asheville Pathfinder Lodge) Day will be Wil Wheaton Day, or as we are also calling it....There Are Other Games to Play Besides PFS Out There and We're Going to Podcast Them Live From The Wyvern's Tale Day. To that end, we're going to cap PFS tables at 3 tables per gaming slot to allow for other games to be played.

That means that there are only two more possible PFS tables for this weekend in the afternoon. PLEASE NOTE.

So, besides that, what else are we playing on 3/30? The games featured on Wil Wheaton's blog ([url=http://tabletop.geekandsundry.com/here[/url]) will be the games we'll be featuring alongside PFS.

I'm going to run a Munchkin table. What else are you guys playing? Please note that the Wyvern's Tale has store copies of just about every game mentioned, so there's no need to buy the game BEFORE 3/30. That's for after you've discovered that it's The Best Game In The World That You Can't Live Without.

Grand Lodge 5/5 * Venture-Captain, New Zealand—Dunedin

Days Inn by the Asheville Mall! It's official. GeekOut 2013 room block should be up within the next 2 days.

Here's the website!

I'll reference you, Thorynn to the AWESOME GEEKOUT WARHORN PAGE that has all the info you'll need.

Short synopsis: Host Hotel on Friday night; UNCA Sherrill Center Saturday morning and afternoon; Host Hotel on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

That is all,
Paul

I'm still confused about payment and so on. If you are playing all the slots, you need to do $20 for the 3-day gaming plus $10 for the one day at the Sherril? What if you only want to play like one or 2 slots? Like me. ^_^

Liberty's Edge

Ahoy shadow lodge organizers,
Seth and I are interested in gaming Friday eve, though we have already played Tide of the Morning. We are happy to show up if there is a chance for second game/ table. If it is unlikely, I will make other plans for tomorrow eve. Seth gets a report card today, and if it is as good as we expect, I need come up with something epically fun and rewarding for him, and Pathfinder Society always seems to fill the bill.

Cheers and salutations,
R

It'd be just $10 if you're going on Saturday only. $20 if you're gaming more than Saturday. I think. I apologize for the confusion, to be sure.

It's $10 if you do only Saturday. It's $20 for all three days.

Official GeekOut Badge FAQ

3/5

Will they have registration and badge stuff at Days Inn? I will probably be making a mad dash to make the 8pm game on Friday...

That Badge FAQ needs some beef!

And for the sake of sharing - there is something weird with the list of topics along the top of the page - when you mouse over just above the "Badges and Registration" topic, "2012 Photo Gallery" pops out.

Silver Crusade 5/5

They will have something set up to sign in people at the Days Inn... shouldn't take long. we'll hold your seat my friend!

That Pop up is a bit wonky... they have a thread going on the staff FB group about website fixes, and that is mentioned there. Thanks for the heads up

Sczarni

Does anyone remeber what the name of that card game was we played in the hotel room at SCARAB?

3/5

Cards against humanity!

Sovereign Court

CAH, what a wonderful and yet twisted game ... I highly recommend it. :)

3/5

Are we in need of GMs for this weekend? I can run something if needed.

3/5

I meant next Saturday of course...

Silver Crusade 5/5

We have room for two more evening tables. I'd be happy to list a game for you. Say the word and it is yours.

The Exchange 2/5

Don't forget, May 30th is also Tabletop day at Wyvern's Tale. So we'll need to run some games that aren't Pathfinder.

If someone runs a game of Dresden Files, I'll end my 6 month streak of non-attendance to play in it.

I'd also be slightly tempted to offer to GM a run-through of the new Star Wars RPG Beginner Game, but I think that adventure probably needs a 6-hour slot.

Dark Archive 2/5

i will be trying to run furnaces of forgotten Katoor this is a 7-11 if anyone is interested this week let me know what day besides Monday works for folks

Talk with Simeon, but I'm pretty sure he's wanting to try and get games that have been run on the Tabletop show.

Here is the invitation On FaceBook From Us At The Wyvern's Tale. You can send invites to your friends so go to it lol.

Oh well, not the games day I'm looking for then.

Liberty's Edge

Anybody up for an impromptu game on this rainy day? Michael and I are throwing one together for 3:15.

3/5

I guess I'll check to see if they need more hosting of game action before you put me down for a PFS game.

Heya Doc,

We could definitely still use one or two more PFS tables in the evening slot... you are more than welcome to run. I just need to know what you want to run so I can post it and people can sign up... on the other hand I'll be jealous as heck if you host a table of Castle Panic <--- Awesome board game.

I personally will be flexing a little Luthril the Paladin Muscle at AB's table... Sorry in advance for killing all your monsters Andy :)

So APL amigos,

I'm gonna drop a little something to you from our buddy Del...

ConCarolinas Warhorn

You'll notice a lot of GMs that you all know... Del says there are more games to be added to this line-up, but as it stands right now it's an Ashevegas tour-du-force.

Come support your home team of GMs as we take our show on the road to Charlotte :)

Here is the convention website if you want to look into tickets and hotel rooms. ConCarolina

O and Andy... I'll be ok, my boys have my back... let's all have some good clean fun out there, gg gg gg

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I have scryed into the future and know that preparation and dialogue is in order. My fellow pathfinders, some of you may not realize yet the grand adventure that lies before us. I have foreseen my own role, and the need to reach out to others who do not know the vital part they will play.

In just over a month, a few of us will embark to Ravenmoor to discover what befell a missing tax collector. Though this mission may seem simple, I have foreseen that there is an evil mastermind behind all this. He is known as the Malevolent James Becker, aka Game Master.

My prognostication has revealed to me that a well balanced and prepared team of pathfinders is needed for the surest chance of success. The paths leading into our future are still blurry and many-fold, but in them I see:

1. Myself, a diviner that specializes in hampering those we face, but without the means to dispatch them.
2. Nagig, a young reckless sorcerer with powerful fiery spells.

Yet to be revealed to me is:
3. The Big, Strong, and Fair man at arms, hopefully having attained the 3rd or 4th ranking of his order.
4. A Master Of Physicians, Healer, Divine representative of similar ranking.
5. And as our dwarven friends know, a sneak thief, master of skills, always increases the chances of success.

I can foresee other paths of success, but non so clearly or surely as this. Whichever destiny I find myself in, I look forward to thwarting the evil plans of the Malevolent James Becker May 4th.

Sincerely,
The All Knowing Maven

Alright peoples...I'm going to start listing the NON PFS events for this Saturday on the Warhorn....

....who's running what? I'll be running a Munchkin game in the afternoon slot (thanks in advance for your spare decks, Sir QC!). What else is a-happening?

-Dink

Sovereign Court

I'll be there in the morning, but have a baby shower to go to that afternoon, so I will most likely miss out on the afternoon games. :(

Where is the listing of the games he has spotlighted? I'll see if I have any of them and if so I will bring them along.

=========== April 14th info below ============

And as an extra push for the Module Arc experiment... this following APL weekend (April 13th) I will be starting the Modules Arc with the Godsmouth Heresy. Everyone who is interested should sign up (yes, even if the table fills ... because if it does, I will list the module again another two weeks out).

The module has been listed for April 13th, so if you are interested, you can sign up now. Also, it is a Tier 1-2 which means 1st and 2nd level characters could feasibly run in it. Please note though that if you are wanting to run the same character through the full Module arc I am planning on, you will want to run with a 1st level PC for this one, otherwise you will level out of at least one module in the run. Finally, as this is a Tier 1-2 module, if your PC dies in it, you can run through it as many times as you like with a 1st level PC ... so if your PC dies in the first run and it is being run again two weeks later, you could hop in with a new 1st level PC.

Translates to: "Yes, this module could be hazardous to your PCs."

fixed a glaring typo ;) Yes April 13, not 14.

It's been a long couple of weeks ...

Oh, and a link would be good too, huh?

I signed up for the Munchkin. How long do those games usually run?

I can host/run a Ticket to Ride or Pandemic game after the Munchkin action...

So quiet in here. I'm hoping everyone is taking the time to contemplate the lessons Hell has to offer.

Silver Crusade 4/5

Pain and suffering is something I try to avoid save for when nesesary when serving a righteous cause. Saving others frome such torment is one such crusade I'm willing to fight for.

As for the question of silence... I'm preparing for the joyous ocasion of my sisters wedding. Two lives are about to be united, Shlyen smiles upon our preperations, It will be a glorious gathering!

Sovereign Court

Indeed, my poor cousin, indeed. One should contemplate what one's soul truly is worth, how long eternity really is and exactly how much pain and agony can be inflicted upon one's soul for that duration.

Thank you for the reminder on why one should not treat with demons and devils. ;)
