I know we have been talking about this on FB for days now, but in the off chance some of you aren't looking there I'll mention this...
Reaper has a Kickstarter going for their new "Bones" line of minis that are pliable plastic like the minis we use in the lodge. This Kickstarter has been VERY successful and the amount of minis you get for pledging is getting ridiculous. Go search kickstarter for reaper bones to learn more.
You're Welcome,
Luth

As for this week are their any games being held at Wyverns Tale? Warhorn does not seem to make a distinction.
Thanks
I could possibly run one Saturday at the 6:00 time, but all I have prepped right now is the intros I need to increase my senario collection, but my money went into reaper this week.

That being said, there aren't any games scheduled as of now for this week since it's an "off" week for the lodge.
Sept. 1st has a couple of Goblinized tables that aren't for official PFS XP, but depending on how well they're received and how much people like RPing goblin characters, may become a quarterly event. If you just want to play a regular table, I'm sure there will be a few of those too.
Sept. 15th is Module day! There will be a few module tables kicking off at about noon that last for a full 8+ hours, but are worth 3XP! Instant level up, anyone? It should be awesome.
Also on the Calendar is Asheville Comic Expo at the Asheville Civic Center, at which there will be several pathfinder tables, as well as a ton of cool vendors, comics, people in crazy costume etc. I know GeekOut may have been the first time you guys heard of Pathfinder Society. ACE can be just as big for bringing new players to the game. It's $5 at the door, but the first 10 GMs who run a table get in free! Message me for details.
tl;dr = No. See you on the 1st for goblins, 15th for modules, Oct. 13 is ACE at the Civic center. SEE YOU THERE!

I will be at WT Saturday for the 6:00 game and ready to run intro if anyone wants to play it, or will be ready to play if anyone else wants to run something else.
There are currently NO games planned for WT on Saturday. The games for this Saturday are all at Highsmith at UNCA. I guess you could run a game there if anyone were to show up though.

Tempting as it is to go to the UNCA games, those are really meant to bring in students. Also, Simeon has said (a few times) that if a bunch of us show up there, the college needs some extra security detail, which could cost money. I don't know details beyond that, but I think setting up a game or two at the WT would be better than crashing the party at UNCA. The purpose is to expand the group, not just to have an alternate venue, after all.
That said, it would be good to have the venues labeled on WarHorn when there are games going on at multiple places on the same day. Aly's goblin game is so marked, but Granyt's and Jake's intros are not.

1.) We Be Goblins is a PFS module that a lot of us have enjoyed that allows people to play goblin PCs. We like it so much, we wanted to provide more opportunities to play goblin PCs, albeit not for actual PFS credit. We are rewriting the Intro Steps for goblin PCs, and we're live playtesting it at our next lodge meeting on 9/1. It is going to be AWESOME. Come out and try out the mayhem!
2.) I'll look into it, but I don't think so.

if no ones going to bother showing up............
The UNCA folks probably won't sign up on WarHorn, and non-UNCA folks have been asked not to by Simeon because of some security issues. I'd also guess that whichever students come will probably decide to at the last minute.
I hope it works out, though there's probably plenty of competition for Saturday evening activities.Well, good to see a game at WT tomorrow. Although, is it really going until 2 am?
I would guess that WarHorn defaults to an 8-hour block, and the finishing time wasn't edited.

Well, well, someone in APL just got some well-deserved recognition from Mr. Brock.
Congrats, Captain Dinketry.
(Now for the rest of you, go over there and say nice things about Dinketry. Immediately.)

For Dawn or the Scarlet Sun, the benefits apply to a new first level character if I remember correctly from free rpg day. Looks like, from what I have, it adds 1 xp, 1 prestige and 500 gp to the character's starting amounts.
Is that correct?
A search indicates that 'Dawn [of] the Scarlet Sun' was mentioned about two months ago, before I started playing PFS, so I may not be the only one wondering what this is. The rewards you're talking about make it sound about like a 1st-level scenario in which you failed (or just never had) a faction mission. The mentions of it 350 posts ago seem to indicate you play as a 5th level pregen, and it's compared to 'We Be Goblins'. Could people provide a bit more info for folks that haven't been with the lodge that long?
Cool thanks I thought you might have to have a hundred things, but cool.
The 'First Steps' intro scenarios are free downloads, so they'd probably be easy to try running. Also read the Guide to Organized Play (also free) since at the end it has a big GM-focused section.
