As some of you might know, I have been working toward collecting the entire run of Dragon magazine for a long time but now I need to liquidate my entire collection, so these issues need to go to a good home!

Ummmm, good luck selling them at those prices. I bought a ton of old dragon magazine issues (some that your listing) for about $.88-$1.00 an issue at a Half Priced Books. Issue 50 might be worth something more but $20 an issue is way too much.

If you got issues of Dragon magazine in excellent condition (tight spine, no rips, tears, marks etc) for $.88-$1.00 an issue, especially issues numbering from around #50 or earlier, you got one heck of a deal.

You'll find that if you look on ebay right now, very good condition issues of Dragon, issues #50 or earlier normally go for much more thant $1.00 an issue. $20 is pretty common ... in fact, issues from around #30 and earlier go for well over $20.

Oh, and I just did a quick search on Half Priced Books and did not find any issues earlier than #150 or so even listed (and even those were going for more than the $.88-$1.00 you mention.

So ... congratulation (seriously) on getting early issues of Dragon (hopfully in top condition) for those prices! Trust me, the prices I have mine listed for are MUCH more typical.

Yes, they were all in excellent condition and in plastic wrappers too. Even had all the middle inserts and the like.

If you think you can get that much for them, that's your prerogative then I suppose.

If you really needed to liquidate, you'd actually be auctioning them, and allowing them to sell at market price, instead of asking ridicules sums for these fairly worthless magazines. At Origins, I pick up boxes of these magazines for about $20 a box, which will have about a dozen issues.
