Lunge does not function when its not your turn so you don't threaten 15ftwhich works... once ;)
to get into that perfect 15ft range you no doubt took a move action dropping you to one attack,
he then provokes to get you and attack giving you a second attack
you then 5ft away for your full attack
and he 5ft back in for his full attack
for your trouble your getting 1 extra attack , nice but ... meh, unless you plan on taking combat reflexes as well and the combo starts becoming feat expensive
Combat Reflexes is probably a good idea with a reach weapon anyways, because you threaten so many squares. But this isn't a one-shot combo in every situation; if your opponent has a powerful full attack, then it can be worth taking an OA from him while you move back into your 15-foot position. If your full attack is as good as, or better than, your opponent's, then yes, you'll return to the 5-foot shuffle.
I don't know how good you expect a single feat to be, but this isn't a bad "combo" for the cost of a single feat. If it's not a good choice in a specific situation, you don't use it.

Have you considered Bull Rushing? The distance you can push them back depends on how much you beat their CMD by, but you can choose whether or not you move back with them, which means you could, in theory, just knock them back 15 feet away from you and make them run your AoO gauntlet all over again. Improved Bull Rush will eliminate the AoO they get from this as well as giving you a +2, and has Power Attack as a prereq (and if you're wielding a 2H reach weapon, you should have Power Attack anyway).
Bonus points if there's some sort of terrain hazard you can shove them into. ;)
