We're a group of Pathfinder RPG lovers who recently decided to become organized and advertise that there are other gamers in the area. We play at various locations in the Kalamazoo, MI area and always welcome new and old players. If you want to play, come find us at one of our events and get your game on!
Notes: We'll also have Intro 1: First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore available if we have 8 or more players attending.
The Jestercap Boon will also be handed out to all players in attendence. Hope to see you there!

The last session on Oct. 30th was a hit! We had 2 GM's and 9 players, and 5 of those players were brand new to Pathfinder Society, some to Pathfinder at all.
Way to go on becoming an organized group. I suggest using either Warhorn or Meetup in addition to Facebook.
Will you guys start doing Society play?

We are doing society play...? Is there another society play I'm not aware of?
Misunderstood. Glad to hear that you guys are off and running. Look into Warhorn, my group uses it.

I haven't seen a need to use warhorn yet. We at most have 2 tables, and I just divide them into their tables. If we're running 2-3 tables, I would worry about more organized methods.
Now, if I end up running Marmalade Dog, I may and probably will use Warhorn to organize GMs. Players seem to be like cats...unherdable.
I've got a group of roughly 4 people that would be interested in playing, I asked to be a member of the facebook group for better communication.

Next event is Saturday, March 10 at 6pm. Dan will be running #55: The Infernal Vault. If there's enough players for 2 tables, I'll run #33: Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible.

I forgot to mention this ages ago. Matt Haddix finally got his first star during Marmalade Dog. Here's looking forward to his next star!

The March 10th event went off with a bang. We had 12 players total, 2 GM's (Matt Haddix, and myself). 6 players ran #33, and 4 played in #55. Everyone appeared to have a great time. We had 5 new faces to the group, most of them we'd met at Marmalade Dog.
We started a voluntary donation process, and took in more than I honestly expected which is great. This'll keep our GM's well supplied in the coming sessions.
Today, I stopped down in St. Joseph, MI about an hour south of Kalamazoo, and ran a game for a group of gamers there. There was one new player, and I'm fairly certain he's leaving the 3.5 WotC camp he was introduced to and joining Paizo and PFS. I plan to make further trips down there to broaden the cause, and encourage them to GM for themselves.
Next session locally is March 24th, and our feature presentation is #37 The Beggar's Pearl. This will be run by a "new" GM to our group, Adam Swinder! We'll be playing 6pm - 11pm at our normal location.

I believe we have our first official PFS spin-off group that has started. It's a private home game, but I was invited to run for their group after meeting a few of them last PFS session. We ran Murder on the Throaty Mermaid, which also was my 30th session. So, I've finally earned my second pip.
Our invites have expanded enough for the second session in a row to justify a 2nd GM. The 2nd table will be playing the Dalsine Affair and be run by Christian Smucker.
Today, Christian and I head down to St. Joseph, MI to another currently private home PFS session to run them through Intro First Steps.
Well, for myself, we have 2-3 GM's that rotate on 6 scenario schedule. So it could be several months between when each runs our 6 weeks, depending on schedules.

Well, it was only shortly before U-Con that I kicked off the "Official" Pathfinder Society: Kalamazoo. The organization for PFS was loose and had no central point of contact prior to then.
So now, I have an opportunity to GM at least every two weeks, but I'm trying to make sure other GMs are trained and get experience. Though I'm still GMing PFS at 2-3 sessions a month atm. Not including Conventions, I'm looking at early next year for Star #3.
I'm currently planning on Gencon and U-con. I'm not sure if my beginner box sessions count toward my star power.
So, to turn the tables, when are you going to fill Doug Doug's shoes and become VC?

If Kyle is too busy coordinating, maybe he won't have time to murder us all.

Session #11 went off extremely well. We ran 2 tables and had 14 players in total. We're definitely looking at the possibility of needing a 3rd GM and table. The slots went as planned, and Christian and Adam did a fantastic job GMing for their groups. Our players remained generous again by donating $12. I have a balance sheet that I'll provide a link to via our facebook network page.
We had a player named Ted Webster stop in and visit us. He found us using Paizo's improved event listing services, and is in town on business from Colorado. I found that kind of exciting to us to have a visitor. If you're reading this, thanks for visiting Ted, hope to see you in town again someday!
The night before, Matt Haddix GM'd "Tide of Twilight" for the Kalamazoo D&D Meetup group. All reports from that night were positive. Though I'm not sure if this will be a regular thing.

Session #12 will occur on Saturday, April 7th, 2012.
I will be running #7: Among the Living, and Christian Smucker will be running #2-21: The Dalsine Affair for the last time in this area for a while. Overflow will be covered by Jim, running #49: Among the Dead.
