butterflies: there's Itzpapalotl - obsidian butterly; Polik Mana (Hopi kachina)

mantis: kamakiri (“sickle-cutter”) - Shinto nature-spirit

Three-legged crow

Raven:

Valraven, from Danish folklore; a shapeshifting raven that gains power by consuming the dead, and acquiring their memories. It is said they they gain the power to take human form if they eat the heart of a child

They are also sometimes depicted as half wolf/half Raven monster.

Raven Mocker: Cherokee legend; these normally appear as withered old men/women, although one story had them in more Raven-esq form. Death Omens that eat the heart of the sick and dying to gain life (without leaving evidence). Can become invisible. Their wikipedia page mentions several instances of appearing in horror literature, so they might be a good monster to stat up.

Nachtkrapp = German "night crows", giant nocturnal rooks that ate children

Moth/Butterfly

Mara/Mora/Drude/Mora-witch are standard nightmare spirits, believed to be able to take moth form (although just a plain moth, nothing monstrous

Shtriga are Albanian vampires that feed on the blood of infants, and could take the form of a moth, fly, or bee. (I think Paizo has used this creature already?)

I want to say there is a half butterfly Fey from Italian myth...Folletti? Although some of the existing fey might cover that niche.

As already noted, it might be good to look at the mythological abilities/folklore of the above groups, and use that to invent "new" monsters. Alternatively, for insect monsters, some of the really old sci-fi might be helpful for inspiration as well.

Given the positive/religious significance of Mantises in world culture, a Agathian or Azata based on mantises seems appropriate

The Exchange

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I wouldn't mind a creatures of the Fey and Dark Tapestry focused book. Mixed in with some interesting tangents.

I really would like an Acheri enemy! These plague children from Native American folklore are really freaky!

Also would anyone know some slug based monsters?

Also, this is my list of monsters/creatures i'm probably gonna use for my own RPG-Lufia-FinalFantasy-like game, if anybody knows of a creature that REALLY should be on this list let me know! All the creatures on this list which are NOT yet used by Paizo are also on top of my wishlist for bestiary 4! I hope one day to see all these creatures being paizonized and given a cool paizo-artwork like they deserve.

Huge List of Monsters for my own RPG:
This is the list of all the monsters for my current project, if you know any monsters I really should include let me know!

Example: Amphisbaena (Ouroboros)
While you mostly encounter Amphisbaena's enemies, there is a very small chance (1%, but with more luck the chance is somewhat higher) you encounter Ouroboros enemies instead of Amphisbaena.
The Ouroboras are much more powerfull than the Amphisbaena, and the battle feels like a small sub-boss battle, treasure and exp are of course much better if you beat Ouroboras.
Rare enemies have 25% chance to drop their Enemy Card, while normal enemies only have 2% chance to drop their enemy card.
Enemy Card = Card with details & background story on the creature, you can also use the cards in a special card game you can play in the tavern.

So the more I read about the hupia/opia of Taino mythology and the more I remember my grandparents story about them, the more I'd love to see them. Undead that blur the lines between corporeal and incorporeal, as well as the classic "undead is evil" trope. Imagine tribes of rainforest-dwelling undead that look like gaunt versions of their former selves that "haunt" the area. Some are evil, some mischievous, while most tend to be left alone. Also can't forget they can turn into bats.

Wild Hunt. Fey, CR 18-20 range. Made as a multiple entry.

With spectral hounds, spectral stags to ride and 2-3 types of co-hunters of lesser CR (or just 1, then we will advance it by class levels).

Alternatively to stags and hounds, just create a cool fey template for spirit animals, and then say to use such template in the Wild Hunt Entry.

But the master of the hunt must be awesome. To scary or at least worry an high level fiend.

EDIT: possible variation is an undead wild hunt. But please, some love for high CR fey.

Another creature that should be there is Calopus, the horned wolf with porcupine features.

So much better than the D&D Howler...

-Gremlin: Mogwai (also make them choosable as improved familiars, make them Neutral so anyone can have one)

-Loxodons

-Rhox

-Toves, Raths and Borogoves (in case i haven't mentioned them before)

-Some sort of aberrant swarm creatures (including muliple classes). I think there exist some in Golarion lore in outer space somewhere. I forgot what theyre called, but you get my meaning Alien/Zerg/Tyranid style. (I might have mentioned these before too, but cant be sure enough)

I don't think Loxodons and Rhox are possible, they are not from myth, or folklore, they are from D&D and Magic The Gathering so they can't be used.

Then something like it, I'm pretty sure that Rhinopeople and Elephantpeople are not copyrighted as such.

Most important is, i get my mogwai familiar.

Bravo to the one that created the Polevik entry in The Asylum Stone!!

I really wish Polevik (and also Fachan) will be in the next bestiary as wel!

Mogwai are in Chinese folklore, but might be tricky to do as a Gremlin (strikes me opening up Paizo to a copyright lawsuit from the makers of the Gremlin movies.

and Elephant humanoid race would be good for Vudra.

The dogs that bark and bees come out of their mouths.

Then maybe just making it a regular fey, doesn't need to be a gremlin, I guess. As logn as it looks the part. (I don't think WB would sue for the look, they also didn't sue over Jinkins)

Shadow Lodge

Cthulhu monsters & robots and general steampunkesque additions would be great. Now that that's out of the way I would also love to see more support of mayan/aztec mythos creatures and well anything from the mythos of the americas as I don't get to see them often and would love to learn about more. On the outsider front I would also love to see more Demondands, Aeons, Asuras, Kytons, Azatas, Agathions, and Qlippoths all of them are fun and really just need more support throughout the CR spectrum to help flesh them out for GM's and players alike to connect with them. Would also like to see some setting neutral/collection of psychopomps either new ones or just putting all the ones we have in one place would just be nice in general.

Clearly you've never tried breaking into the mansion of Montgomery Burns to win back the affections of your estranged son.

The people at Paizo have already said that will only be three kinds of Demodands. But I do agree about having more types of Aeons, Azatas, Azuras, Agathions, Qlippoths plus also more types of Angels, Rakshasa, Proteons, Inevitables, and Oni.

That was a great simpsons episode.

Awaken template for animals and plants would be nice.

You could still have Mogwai(Cantonese) as gremlins, you just have to use it's alternate spelling of Mogui(Mandarin) plus you can make then similiar just have to change a few things like feeding them after midnight and sunlight killing them. The myth says that there mating season is triggered by rain though so we can keep some aspect of that.

Also we need a type of gremlin that can fly(bat wings maybe) and one that burrows or moves through the earth.

I am absolutely not expecting a 1:1 clone of the Gremlins movie mogwai, so i find that completely reasonable. Although if they turned into Jinkins if you fed them after midnight that would be kind of awesome.

Yes. Yes we do.

We have a gremlin that can fly - the haniver from the Bestiary section of Pathfinder #25

The Haniver looks like it's gliding and doesn't have bat wings or look creepy.

I'll request it again, because it would be good for completeness. I'd like to see more behemoths. How about a Fire and a Cold Behemoth? We have Air, Water and Earth, so how about filling the blanks?

Here's what the 3rd Bestiary says about behemoths:

Monster Manual 3 wrote:
Other behemoths exist, such as sirocco behemoths that flay with air and fire, behemoths of the lightless depths of the oceans, and dread holocaust behemoths forged of lightning and fire

Don't tell me that wouldn't make good additions to a 4th bestiary.

I would second some low level intelligent undead, sort of like the undead from the pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Next some Demon/Devils types that are more interested in corrupting society then ripping peoples heads off.The types that want to lead you astray and promise you power if you just sign this little contract here. Or that a Humanoid might really want to take to bed and breed tieflings with.

Don't we have enough low level intelligent undead already? Ghouls? Wights?

The type of undead really needed are non-humanoid undead, those are really really rare, and i'm not talking about simple undead like undead-chimera or undead-wyvern, more original creatures of course, like the Petsuchos, Wild Hunt or Dust Devil (high level sandman-type creature a living sandstorm created from a human that died in the far desert and now becomes a restless spirit made of sand but who lost most of its humanoid form and more resembles a sandstorm with can shape into many forms)

I hope paizo paizonizes this entire list one day:

Huge Wiki list of Creatures, most are mentioned

Special Attention to Acheri, freaky indian girl Demons that bring about deadly diseases, nice friendly neighbours of the Horseman of Pestilence!

I really can't wait for Wesley or James to come into this thread and anounch Bestiary 4!!! That would be really really really cool and exciting!

And i'm not talking about 40 pages bestiaries such as the Inner Sea Bestiary, but about a real bestiary with over 300 beasties of course!

And these are my new findings:

Abaasy (Yakuts) - Demons that have teeth of iron.
Alicanto (Chilean) - Bird that eats gold and silver.
Alp-luachra (Irish) - Parasitic fairy.
Goat Riders(Dutch) - bandits riding goats made pact with devil
Cericopithicus (Medieval Bestiary) - Apes who always bear twins, one the mother loves, the other it hates
Chrysaor (Greek) - Son of the gorgon Medusa, imaged as a giant or a winged boar
Chrysomallus (Greek mythology) - Golden haired winged ram
Emela-ntouka (Central Africa) – Gigantic, elephant-killing beast
Gaki (Japanese) - Ghosts of especially greedy people
Isonade (Japanese) - Shark-like sea monster
Laestrygonians (Greek) - Anthropophagic giants
Lynx (Medieval Bestiaries) - Feline guide spirit
Mokoi (Australian Aboriginal mythology) - Malevolent spirit that kills sorcerers
Nuppeppo (Japanese) - Animated chuck of dead flesh
Otso (Finnish) - Bear spirit
Pyrausta (Greek) - Insect-dragon hybrid
Rompo (Africa and India) - Skeletal creature with elements of a rabbit, badger, and bear
Sandwalker (Arabian) - Camel-stealing, giant crab
Sazae-oni (Japanese) - Shapeshifting turban snail spirit
Urmahlullu (Mesopotamian) - Lion-human hybrid guardian spirit
Yara-ma-yha-who (Australian Aboriginal) - Diminutive, sucker-fingered vampire
Zorigami (Japanese) - Animated clock

Some may sound dull, but with the right fantasy and changes they can all become fierce and cool beasties.

As far as references to online lists of mythological creatures, this seems pretty impressive

http://www.thecbg.org/wiki/index.php/American_Creatures

I linked to the page on American creatures, but note there are pages for pretty much every continent, most of which appear to be pretty thorough

Thanks for that supercool link MMCjawa, that means hours of reading pleasure for me personally!

Be sure to also check through the spirits section, since a lot of demons, undead, etc end up in that part and not the creatures section

Yes I've noticed that too, too bad they drown between the many Gods there, Gods are cool but not what i'm after, but I search in the spirit section anyway.

Pyrausta (Greek) - Insect-dragon hybrid

To come back to this little critter, this is really cool! That I never heard of this thing before is a mistery to me? I always wanted a insect dragon, and i'm not talking about the boring D&D faerie dragon which is good-natured (and from D&D, not from any form of mythology or folklore) and those don't count, Pyrausta should be just as hostile and agressive as normal insects

Pyrausta can be a group of sub-dragons, Mantis Pyrausta, Ant Pyrausta, Butterfly Pyrausta, Wasp Pyrausta, Moth Pyrausta, Spider Pyrausta, Scorpion Pyrausta... All should have less obvious names tho, but the inspiration fails me for that part today. :p

Also, coming back to the D&D part, the funny thing about all these mass-creature websites is that the more monsters I read about the less REAL UNIQUE D&D monsters remain, the only 2 D&D monsters I still gonna use are Roper and Rust Monster because they are really unique and non-replaceable (as of YET)

All others have counterparts from real mythology so I loose interest in them. I don't know if Mimic's are from D&D only but they come from SO much movies, games and stories I doubt D&D owns those, if they do then Mimic is the third D&D-only creature I still like.

Probably can't be done, but a proxismity to Ewoks (savage midget teddy bears) and Jawas (midgets with glowing eyes and crazy merchant stuff) would be nice...you know...to kill...>.>....and maybe....maybe...PC...

Silly Wesley, that's not how you spell "Good news: Bestiary 4 will be published by Summer 2013!"

Indeed :p (Btw Wesley: Your own page where you keep track of things, keep it up with the creatures and the inspiriation part! I really enjoy reading it :) )

Another creature I want to be in Pathfinder is an EVIL/HORSE version of the Phooka, I really, really dislike the Tome of Horrors version, which is good and much like a pech.
That is not how I would see the Phooka, more like some steed for witches and other evil (but pretty) female fey/human creatures.

I would like them to be black horses with silver, erect manes and tails and hair above their hooves, and moon-like eye colour, shining bright during nighttime, they seem to hover just above the groud as their hooves are magical and can never touch the ground.

Phooka's are also used as steeds by the most powerfull and well respected evil fey.

EDIT: Also the Asray/Asrai should be used in Bestiary 4, but unlike the nereid-like Tome of Horror versions I would like an Asray like in the real myth, a creature totally made from pure water.

EDIT: Another creature from the TOme of Horrors that comes from real mythology is the Barbegazi, while they use its name for a snow gnome creature I would like them to be avalanche fey, nasty white Fachen-like creatures or giant white (huge mouth with huge teeth) puffballs that roll through the snow to become a huge snowball or to cause avalanches, just look at the barbegazi from the witcher which is not really weird from its mythological counterpart and very unique and cool looking, much better than a snow-gnome anyway..

From the TOH these creatures should be still included in the Bestairies:

Afanc (Beaver/crocodile version)
Al-Mi'raj (Nasty agressive unicorn-rabbits that have a taste for human flesh)
Asrai (Pure water fey)
Assassin Bug (bright red version)
Baccae (Beautiful woman that become ugly huge monsters when they not get alochol)
Barbegazi (Much like the witcher version)
Bloody Bones (Water boogeyman version)
Geryon (not the archdevil but the 3 bodied warriors)
Fetch (Mirror Doppelganger)
Jack-In-Irons (giants dressed in iron, can also be a kyton variant or kyton giant)
Graymalkin/Grimalkin (Hag/witch cats, shapeshifters, 9 lives and give spellcasters buffs)
Jack o Lantern (Plant version, not construct)
Phooka (horse version, not another small fey humanoid)
Wizard Shackle (Giant monstrous leeches that block teleportation and other spell uses or warp it in the area they are in.)

All very different than their TOH versions, as they are all from real myth and stories., except for the Assassin Bug, but that is just the most awesome and nasty bug found in the real world, especially when you give him these colours:

Bright Red Assassin Bug

No way, we're skipping straight to Bestiary 13 and we're printing it in 3D.

That sounds real, right? Like a thing?

Ha! Will do. And if folks haven't checked it out, there's a link to my personal blog if you click my name above. I just put up a bit covering the inspiration behind a bunch of Inner Sea Bestiary and recent Pathfinder AP monsters. Might be pertinent to some of your interests. :)

In other news. If I'm posting here that means I'm also reading here. So take that for what it's worth.

And I will send a free... something... to anyone who can sell me on a new family of five logically related dragons. New colors need not apply. Mythical creatures preferred. One head only please.

Oof

I would say planar, but their are more than 5 planes, and I am stumped on how to easily break them up into multiple types.

For Mythology, maybe Taniwha? Maori legend has them as protectors of natural places (well some legends), and they radically differ in appearance from story to story, with some looking like giant eels, sharks, Tuatara, or geckos

There are also the antlered serpent legends from the Native American folklore. Just about every tribal nation seems to have their own version of a giant aquatic antlered dragon, but they different versions seem to have differences in alignment (some are nasty monsters, while others are neutral or even helpful guardians) and powers. No idea what name would be used for the group as a whole. Anyway might make a nice complement to the Imperial Dragons, if Arcadia like Tien Xia had it's own dragon type

Slavic countries have weird dragons, but most of them have multiple heads, and the Gorynich already exists :(

Asrai-N or CN small sea sprite/neried like fey creature that is flesh n blood, can turn into water, has some cold based abilities and/or spell powers, and is around CR4-5.

Jack O Lantern-N or CN small fey with a pumpkin head and fire related abilities, magical lantern, and around CR 5-6.

Jack Frost-CN medium fey with cold based abilities, creates magical frost weapons out of ice, makes the weather cold, and around CR 13-14.

Wild Hunt-Any Alignment huge+ incorporeal fey, ghost touch for weapons/narural attacks, summon spectral hounds/animals, and around CR17+.

Firbolgs-CN large fey that look like giants, can change into other humaniods, around CR9-10

Pucca-CN small goblin like fey that can change into animals, sometimes helpful sometimes dangerous.

Cat Sith-CN or N fey or magical beast that looks like a cat, can become incorporeal, around CR3-4.

Cu Sith- LN or N fey or magical beast that looks like a green dog the size of a bull, around CR6-7.

Alp Luachra-NE tiny(or smaller) parasitic fey that attacks when you are sleeping and steal food from witthin your body, around CR1-2

Leanen Sidhe-NE vampire/succubus like attractive female mediun fey, around CR 7.

Fear Dearg/Far Darring-CE or NE small-medium fey that wears red and like to play gruesome practial jokes, around CR 6.

Kilmoulis-N diminitive to small fey with no mouth and a long nose similiar to an elephant, around CR1/4-1/2.

Cool! Well i'm with the Insect Dragons I mentioned earlier on this one, as there are always big dragons there, so why not try some smaller dragons for once? And maybe they can also be HUGE Insectoid dragons?

The Pyraustas.

My own choises would go to a:

Wasp-like Pyrausta (would be freaky)

Moth-like Pyrausta (Can't be missing as you see a lot of those on google images)

Spider-like Pyrausta (dragon spiders for the win)

Mantis-like Pyrausta (I've once saw a mantis dragon artwork on deviant, the best dragon EVER.)

Dragonfly-like Pyrausta (Can't be missing, seen in lots of games)

Ants are cool too, or some scorpion dragon or a Assassin Bug dragon, endless possibilities.

Others can be: Sea Dragons? First World Dragons? Or maybe Hybrid Dragons?

Has anyone considered a set of dragons based on the celestial bodies, such as star dragons, constellation dragons, nebula dragons, comet dragons, and asteroid dragons? A strange race of alien dragons native to the far reaches of space, the visit of one of these dragons an event unto itself, but also presaging some other great event.

Maybe the Zomok (PLant Dragon) Should be taken from the endless pit of not-bestairiezed monsters from the Adventure Path and some cousins should be made up to create 5 plant based dragons from the First World.

IF any place should get its own dragons its the First World.

The dragons can be very natural based, Venus Flytrap like creatures, zomok and other tree-and-plant-and-nature based terrors of the First World. Ladon can be another plant dragon, being about guardian of a tree and stuff he suits the Zomok dragon as cousin perfectly.

Okay, here's my fifteen minutes worth.

A. Totem dragons. I picture these being Native American or Inuit in inspriation, and closely tied to specific totem animals. Each would likely have a favored alternate form such as killer whale, grizzly, snake, etc., and also a human or humanoid form.

B. Elemental spirit dragons. As much elemental as dragon, they would be more direct manifestations of the elemental planes than standalone creatures: air, fire, water, earth and void - the absence of all elements.

Neither of these are directly tied to mythology, though they could be - much folklore is tied to elements, and from my brief reading of native american mythos I'm guessing that totem dragons would fit some of their mythology pretty well.

Anyways, that's my two cents :)

Personally, I'd like to see a set of ginormous dragons the size of moons and stuff, but I think that's more a reflection of how I run my home game than anything else :)

Oh ... and a multiheaded template like the one from Savage Species would be the bomb. Really. I miss that one dearly.

Paizo Employee Managing Creative Director (Starfinder)

The two ideas I've always toyed with for 'Mythic' Dragons were two basic concepts that could easily be expanded upon:

Paragon Dragons - Each based on a specific stat (Dex, Cha, Str, etc, etc) that perfectly exemplify their role in the world. These would probably be best suited to a First World style dragon.

Sin Dragons - Really surprised this hasn't been done yet. Dragons tied to a specific Sin, each of which would fit well into the established Golarion mythology.

Another random idea for traditional good characters to fight, might be horseman style dragons. Plague/Famine/Death/War Dragons.

*finishes rambling*

There are only 5 dragon spots, and there are 7 sins, which sins would you dump?

For me personally the Envy and Lust dragons could be dumped, lust because I can't see a dragon have lust attacks, pathfinder said lust and sexual stuff will be limited anyway so they don't have effect, lust isn't love ya know...Or maybe you guys are waiting for a pink dragon with red make-up that breaths pink dust clouds that give male players a *hard* time? Lol

Envy is a bit like Greed anyway.

Pride, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath and Sloth would be my bets.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

For what it's worth...The dragons of the first world are arguably the Linnorms.

The sin take might be interesting, but I think you would have to do them 7 types. The "5 deadly sins" don't quite work

Of course, if there were 7 sin dragons, there really should be 7 virtue dragons as well

1# Abaia
What seemed like a peaceful, silent lake now slowly turns into a violent whirlpool of destruction.
Some of the smaller fisher boats are sucked in immediately, while other struggle to the riverbank.
Once there some of the survivors try to rescue the other people, only to see a gigantic moray-like eel rising from the middle of the giant whirlpool.
The gigantic beast releases a terrible wail and crushes all off the survivors with a fatal wave that seemed to come out of nowhere.
In lakes where Abaia's live, fishing is like playing Russian roulette with your life.

Abaias are giant lake moray eels, they are very gluttonous but also very lazy, and that is a very good thing, because if they were not so lazy they would probably be unstoppable.
Abaia's can slither along land, looking for another lake, but they are very fragile and easy prey for more powerful predators if they do so, so they are rarely found outside a lake.
They always kill or chase off other big lake predators, this includes other Abaia, but they strangely work like guardians/protectors for the other medium and smaller creatures living in the lake, attacking any creature/humanoid that catches a lake creature for food.
Most of the smaller lake creatures enjoy this protection and start worshipping the Abaia as a God, bringing it food and cleaning it from parasites, they also fight for their so called Gods when they are under attack, so fighting an Abaia is like fighting an entire lake with all its inhabitants at once.
Older Abaia's have very powerful abilities over water and can even turn a silent lake into a stormy sea.

Mythology Roots: Abaia’s come from Melanesian Mythology

Online Info:
Wikipedia about Abaia

Pictures of the Abaia
Abaia Tattoo
Abaia from Game
Abaia Picture

Other Names: If the name Abaia won't do maybe something with Current, Tsunami, Tempest, Eel or Moray.
Possible CR: Possible around the same CR as the Athlut (orca/wolf) so maybe 12/13/14. They are powerful magical eels so above 10 is a must.
Creature Size: Large or Huge
Alignment: Abaia are intelligent beasts, so I would say Neutral Evil or Chaotic Neutral.
Creature Type: Magical Beast, or maybe Aberration.
Environment: Deep, dark, silent lakes with no streams. (Think Loch Ness)

Special Abilities Thoughts: The Abaia abilities could be all kinds of natural disasters, such as summoning monsoons, tsunami's, large waves and whirlpools, it can completely control the lake around it, the Abaia doesn't even need to surface so to non-knowing people it seems like if the silent lake is coming alive violently.

2# Acheri
When Little Adam appears before his mother after playing outside (apparently) alone she is shocked to see his face and arms full of little red and yellow spots. The memory of her neighbors daughter dying last week from some unknown disease starts to haunt through her mind again, and what about little Karam from one block away that mysteriously died two weeks back from a deadly illness? What if her only son has the same disease?
If she asks him where he’s been and with whom he played little Kevin answers: I played with a little girl, we played cowboy and Indian, I was the cowboy of course he tells her proudly.
Two days later little Kevin is buried, but not alone, his mother and the towns only doctor are buried with him.

Acheri, or the Daughters of Apollyon as they are often called are nasty undead children that bring diseases everywhere they go.
They are often created by Leukodaemons who ritually slaughter little children to serve Apollyon as easy undercover spreaders of his most favorite plagues and diseases, only girls can become Acheri for some strange unknown reasons, or the Leukodaemons only use girls as they are more easily trusted.
All Acheri see Apollyon as their father and do anything to please their big, bad daddy, of course they also enjoy killing innocent children after they played with them, even though they do it for their father in the end.

Mythology Roots: The Acheri comes from Indian Mythology

Online Info:
Wikipedia about Acheri

Pictures of the Acheri
Acheri Art
Acheri from Supernatural Series
Acheri as it appears in Scooby Doo

Other Names: I really, really like the name Acheri, but if another name is needed something with plague, disease, pestilence, child, daughter in it? Maybe Daughter of Apollyon.
Possible CR: Probably somewhere between cr 6/10, not sure they are small but have very deadly diseases on their disposal.
Creature Size: Small, pretty much like a little girl.
Alignment: Neutral Evil, like their father Apollyon.
Creature Type: Undead, not a Daemon, as they would be too much like the Vulnudaemon which also appears as a small female child in the picture, Acheri are very different than Vulnudaemons tho.
Environment: Any, Acheri’s can appear anywhere, but they are mostly found in cursed, forgotten towns or in rich-with-fresh-child-victims towns, the Prairie fields and high mountain tops are also a common gathering for Acheri.

Special Abilities Thoughts: Acheri’s bring a variety of deadly (especially for the weak, young and old) diseases with them, maybe some fast-aging diseases which makes you feel like you are very old and weak, the plague and other child-and-weak killing diseases are also a possibility. Acheri bring diseases by touch or by spell. They have limited shape shifting abilities to hide their true appearance as that appearance would scare away their victims.

Probably been said at least a couple of times (it's a long thread, after all) but I would absolutely be in favour of more of anything Protean and, while I'm at it, more Daemons are always welcome.
