Silver Crusade

Could you make a fimiliar useable Humming dragon. It would be a fine or diminutive creature, Live of nectar and have a super fast wingbeat. They're also really bright colours.

Wouldn't that be a Faerie Dragon with the Young template?

Less pixie, more humingbird.

@toastwolf: I'm going to hold off on the ooze-themed dragon for now. I'm currently working with a 3PP on a potential dragon-related product, so I need to save all my big-bad-dragon mojo for that project (as opposed to my itty-bitty-dragon mojo, as per the humming dragon, below).

@Dieros: I'm going to pass on a complete hierarchy of angels. With all the various celestial beings in the game, its easy to round out a celestial hierarchy with existing monsters. If you want angels, specifically, just replace the agathion, archon, and azata subtypes with the angel subtype.

@Goth Guru: There's already a Pathfinder version of the grim reaper in AP 48.

@Iracaedes: Here's a monk-like CR 25 devil:

Boundless Ki (Su) An infernal creator is infused with personal energy. Its unarmed strike attacks gain a +5 enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls. It also gains the AC bonus, improved evasion, and quivering palm abilities of a 20th-level monk, as well as a +4 dodge bonus to AC.
Omnipresent (Su) An infernal creator's blindsight and reach extend into all extradimensional spaces created by its own maze spell-like ability, regardless of distance. All creatures within these extradimensional spaces are within range of the infernal creator's blindsight and melee attacks, though the infernal creator doesn't otherwise have line of effect to these creatures.
Rain of Blows (Ex) An infernal creator can make dozens of sweeping unarmed strike attacks in a single action. Whenever an infernal creator makes an unarmed strike attack, it rolls normally but hits every enemy in its reach whose AC the attack roll exceeds. If such an attack roll results in a critical threat, the critical is applied to one creature hit of the infernal creator's choosing.
Stunning Slam (Ex) As a standard action, an infernal creator may make a single unarmed strike attack that deals normal damage. If it hits, the target takes damage and must succeed at a DC 41 Fortitude save to avoid being stunned for 1d6+1 rounds. Alternately, the infernal creator may choose to permanently blind or deafen the target. The save DC is Strength-based.

Born from the thoughts of a powerful aeon whose mind became too self-centered, an infernal creator, or demiourgos, is a false god with the ability to create new planes of existence. The infernal creator rules over these realms as a petty tyrant, entrapping mortals, outsiders, and souls alike in its woeful creations.

@Mystic_Snowfang: Here's a CR 1/3 dragon familiar:

Humming dragons are tiny dragons that eat fruit and nectar. Each can exhale either sparks or smalls puffs of vapor, though the dragon cannot use this effect to attack or provide illumination.

A spellcaster may take a humming dragon in place of an ordinary animal familiar. A humming dragon familiar doesn't provide its master with any special bonus, nor does it count as a magical beast instead of its normal creature type.

@Azten: A young fairy dragon (or pseudodragon) would definitely be a good way to make a more powerful version of a humming dragon. I statted up the humming dragon, above, because I couldn't find any existing CR 1/3 dragons.

Silver Crusade

good work meepo.

I've been playing Dark souls, and the undead from that game gave me some ideas. I'll ask when I get them organized

I've got another,

Anuki which is bird headed Devil (As in Lawful Evil), has a humanoid body (Two arms, two legs) however its hands and feet are talon like claws and it has two wings. I'm thinking something like CR 7 and generally wielding a khopesh in each hand.

Brass cats are feline creatures native to the Elemental Plane of Fire. They are 4 feet long and weight 120 pounds. Efreet often keep brass cats as housepets. In addition, at the GM's option, a druid may be allowed to attract a brass cat as an animal companion; treat a brass cat animal companion as a small cat animal companion with one fewer Hit Die than normal for its master's level.

Elemental Creature (CR +1)
"Elemental creature" is a simple template that can be added to any creature. Each elemental creature has the elemental sorcerer bloodline as an associated bloodline, and selects one of the four elements for that bloodline. An elemental creature's quick and rebuild rules are the same.
Rebuild Rules: Type gains the extraplanar subtype and the subtype matching the element selected for its associated bloodline; Speed gains the elemental movement bloodline power of its associated bloodline; Immune gains the elemental body bloodline power of its associated bloodline; Melee adds 1 point of damage of the energy type matching its associated bloodline to the damage dealt by each of its natural weapon attacks.

(The CR adjustment for the above simple template might need to drop to +0 for a base creature with a sufficiently-high CR; I'd need to do some playtesting to know when and if that should be done.)

@Tzi: Here's a wingless, bird-headed devil:

Devil, Carrion (CR 7):
This bird-headed humanoid has rotting flesh beneath its black feathers.

Born from the souls of the foulest tengus, carrion devils closely resemble those crow-headed humanoids, though their rotting flesh is more putrid than that of a mortal being. Carrion devils are brutish thugs who feast on carrion, killing prey and leaving it to rot if preexisting corpses are unavailable. Carrion devils often attract barghests to share in their meals, posing a threat to the souls as well as the bodies of their slain victims.

Ever heard of the SCP Foundation? They're an online community that centers around a fictional organization of the same name. Think Bureau 13/Warehouse 13 mixed with every episode of The Twilight Zone/The Outer Limits. Everything on the site is fan-generated content.

The reason I bring them up is because a few creatures that I've read so far (in addition to the other anomalies therein) seem ripe for being written up. Here's two that caught my eye.

http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-058
A horrendous heart-thing that speaks in prose.
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-106
A strange cadaverous monstrosity that draws prey into an alternate world, and can break down any barrier through strength and its corrosive, reality warping touch.
I haven't figured out how to link text, but yeah.
I'm still reading through the site, so I may find more at a later date.

I have a few requests;

1. Illithids (including the brain slug take over other race thing)
2. Alcohol Elementals
3. Gorrot Devil

How about a Troblin. An cross between a troll and a hobgoblin. With the best of both. caused by too many love potions and too much ale.

Thanks, Epic Meepo. This template will be quite useful for me.

1. he already did it check out protothelid near the begining. (just to busy to link it)

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

1. I did see the proto template which was cool. But there is an element I was curious for a take on. Illithids are actually slugs which, when they reach maturity are inserted into a host brain. It them burrows in and begins transforming the creature into an Illithid. Should the Illthid die, but the slug survive, it can be inserted into a new host. Alternatively these slugs could also be placed in some kind of breeding pool, where they could share their knowledge with other members of the clutch.

Perhaps a monster representation of the slug, which can grant the Protothelid template to a host creature. (I should have been more clearer)

I would love to see some epic monsters (CR 21-35) tied to the themes of elves, souls, divinity, creation and epic arcane magic.

I need both a spider and scorpion humanoids:)

Bronze Golen
Copper Golem

The Rabbit of Caerbannog! ^-^

cr 5-7
a sort of snake like thing that has two arms that end in a scythe-like blade. I'm thinking more like how yaun-ti look (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Yuan-ti.JPG)

But I want it to mainly be a ranged thing, shooting needle-like spines. Maybe with some kind of acid/venom thing on them?

And a bite too, since I'm thinking more of a mandible-styled mouth with lots of sharp teeth. Aberration type most likely.

And if it's possible I'd like for it to be able to burrow under ground :3

I value my professional relationship with Paizo too highly to answer that question.

You'll have to wait until the AP is released to find out what's in it.

Taunting Fruit.
This orange colored fruit grows on semi tropical trees.
It has eyes and a mouth that is forever taunting everyone.
It is often grown in glass and wood houses which the fruit calls "Not really greenhouses." Note that it has lots of vitamin C and is a sovern cure for scurvy. It is often juiced or made into tarts. Some like to throw them into dungeon rooms to set off traps and ambushes.
Supposedly, they came in a time machine that crashed and noone could repair.

after the ooze dragon, how about a flesh eating rafflesia with full movement capabilities and maybe a little mind control for vermin.

If you have a concept for a new monster you'd like me to design and post in this thread, feel free to make a request. Give me a CR range and a basic premise for the monster. No humanoids, animals, joke monsters, or alternate versions of past/existing monsters, please. I'll try to stat up a half a dozen or so monsters over the next two weeks, should I get that many suggestions from my fellow members of the Paizo boards.

How about a Puzzle Golem

It has the ability to join with others to increase or split apart to decrease its size modifier.

Lets see what that makes lol

One hundred puzzle pieces all saying,"I go next to a white piece!"
"Yes you do."
You have to put together the puzzle and put it into the frame next to the door to open it.
Where is that topic where someone was having the adventurers build a dungeon? This is like the perfect puzzle lock.

Interesting thought on the Puzzle golem. The piece spring up and form a killing machine lol PCs constructing a dungeons hmm sounds like fun.

I think a refuse golem would be, interesting. Maybe it's a favourite of goblins and other muck dwelling races.

I think this thread is awesome!

If you're still taking requests, I need a mage buster. CR 4-5, Jungle/Mountain Dweller with a Mayan/Amazon feel. Whatever it is, it was captured from the wild by Mayan Priests and trained/forced to guard their Blood God's Temple. Basically, this beast's job is to keep anyone from entering the Temple, which is located on a small island in the middle of a giant-can't see across it-river, right where a massive waterfall flows from a mountainous jungle paradise into a murky Everglades-type swamp. The area this is for runs rampant with magic, so feel free to either play that up or bust that up as much as you like.

If you're not still taking requests, then ignore the crap out of this post :P lol
