Vic,
You normally answer OGL questions so it is the reason I directed it at you.
The picture of goblins attacking a computer I am hoping to use as a Zagg Skin photo and hope it is ok. Want to use it for the back of my iPhone.
I know that this isn't ya'll's normal area, but I would buy Paizo goblin computer and phone covers. =)

Zagg skin (www.zagg.com) is a service that charges to make custom device covers though, so since they're profiting from the provided picture (by selling the item to the user providing the image), how does that come into play?
I mean, someone is making a profit from it. But then again if Kinko's or a similar copy center prints a PDF for someone, it's a similar issue. Then again the license for the Paizo PDF might actually allow for that while the "personal-use" of a copied image might not.
Anyway, Zagg's making money on the deal, so how does that affect the use of the image?

Plus as you pointed out Kinkos also is making money to print an item out. But they were ok with that as long as it's personal use.
It's going to be a back cover for my iPhone is all.
Thanks Lisa for the reply.
Order sent. ;-).

What do the terms of use of Zagg say about the ownership of a picture used to make a skin?
For example, if there's a clause that says that rights to the image are transferred to Zagg, this won't be kosher.
No it doesn't. It has a warning about copy right stuff before you submit. Which the photo didn't have on it but I recognize it does/is covered.
