The PRD has errata for the protean bloodline for the APG, but that errata is not in the errata document or the pdf version of the APG

The text follows. The errata is bolded

Quote:
Avatar of Chaos (Ex): At 20th level, you are infused with the essence of raw chaos. You gain immunity to acid, petrification, and polymorph effects (except when cast on self), as well as a +2 bonus to save DCs and on checks to overcome spell penetration against creatures with the lawful subtype.

PS: I am doing this to get the errata document changed, but I did not know where to post to get that done.

The Exchange

Technically, it is my understanding that the PRD and the 2nd printing of the APG (PDF and print version) have this text, but the errata PDF does not. Having it in the errata PDF will allow/inform owners of the 1st printing print form of the book to update their book accordingly.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advanced/baseClasses/summoner.html

In the Summoner's spell list, the word "binding" in "planar binding (lesser)" and "planar binding (greater)" is incorrectly hyperlinked to the spell "binding".

The racial ability adjustments chart in the Creating NPCs section says halflings get a +2 to Int rather than to Cha.

Any chance to be able to sort the spell lists by SCHOOL.
Or at least have a symbol of some sort next to the spell name which lets you know at a glance which school the spell is from.

The PRD, Bestiary 1, Universal Monster Rules says:

Quote:
Incorporeal (Ex) An incorporeal creature has no physical body. It can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, magic weapons or creatures that strike as magic weapons, and spells, spell-like abilities, or supernatural abilities. It is immune to all nonmagical attack forms. Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy). Although it is not a magical attack, holy water can affect incorporeal undead. Corporeal spells and effects that do not cause damage only have a 50% chance of affecting an incorporeal creature. Force spells and effects, such as from a magic missile, affect an incorporeal creature normally.

According to d20pfsrd.com and this post, the above is errata from the 1st to 2nd printing of the Bestiary, adding that incorporeal creatures take full damage from Channel Energy. However, the 3rd printing of the Bestiary has dropped this errata and returned to the 1st printing language that halves Channel Energy damage.

Is the PRD correct, or has the errata been unerrataed?

The spell 'Halt Undead' is currently link-broken, because it's currently showing as 'Halt Undead Copy', here.
Found it unlinked under Core:Magic Items:Staves:Staff of Necromancy

From the satyr's monster entry:

"Though their bodies are almost always those of attractive and well-built men, much of the satyrs' talent for seduction lies in their talent for music."

(Emphasis mine.)

Errata for Bestiary 2 and thread fixes up to this post have been added, with the exception of some previous errata document fixes (IE: riding dog and similar) that weren't included in the errata PDFs. This will go up in a separate update, as there are quite a few documents to pick through.

There is a typo in Creating NPCs

The Racial Ability Adjustment table indicates that halflings get +2 Int, this should be +2 Cha.

Has the scrolling issue with iPhones been addressed yet? IPhone 3 skips anytime I'm scrolling through a page (usually skips right before I get to the part I wanted) unless I hit the little "Reader" button in the address bar.

I never have a scrolling problem on the iPad, though.

It works great on my iPad, good job!

The Exchange

Reposting here per Chris Lambertz:

A) Errata says "Page 98—In the (basic) Crystal Dragon stat block change the Tremorsense entry to the following: “Tremorsense (Ex) Crystal dragons do not gain tremorsense until juvenile age (30 ft.), improving at adult (60 ft.) and old (120 ft.)”.

However, the table still indicates crystal dragons gain tremorsense at juvenile age category and the example (constructed) young crystal dragon still has tremorsense listed.

B) Errata says "Page 36—In the Axiomite stat block, in the Melee entry, change the longsword damage from “+6” to “+7”."

However, the PRD shows "Melee +1 longsword +16/+11 (1d8+8/19–20)"

It is unclear how to update the Axiomite because the errata instructions do not seem to match the existing text.

The Exchange

Errata says "Page 128—In the Gar stat block, in the AC entry, change the touch AC from “13” to “12”."

However, the gar's touch ac in the PRD is 11, not 13.

The Exchange

Errata says, "Page 149—In the Grippli stat block, change the hit points from “11 (1d10+1)” to “12 (1d10+2)”."

However, it is unclear why the Grippli gets +2 to its hp? Its Constitution score is 13 which provides only +1 hp bonus. At first I thought it might be favored class bonus, but upon checking orc and goblin from Bestiary 1, their hp add up correctly. Do the orc and goblin have their favored class bonus assigned to skills whereas grippli added it to hp?

Errata says, "Page 160—In the 1st-level sorcerer spells known subentry, change “burning hands” to “burning hands (DC 15)”."

However, the Ifrit does not currently have burning hands listed in its 1st level sorcerer spells known subentry. It is listed in its Ifrit Spell-Like Abilities section.

Errata says, "Page 167—In the Inevitable, Zelekhut stat block, in the Spell-Like Abilities entry, in the 1/day subentry, change the lesser geas DC from “18” to “17”."

However, there is no 1/day subentry (there is a 1/week subentry) and the listed DC for lesser geas is 16, not 18.

The Exchange

Errata says, "Page 312—In Appendix 7: Animal Companions, delete compsothagnus from the table."

However, compsothagnus is still listed.

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/spells/invisibilitySphere.html#_invisibi lity-sphere

In the description of Invisibility Sphere, it says:

Quote:
This spell functions like invisibility, except that this spell confers invisibility upon all creatures within 10 feet of the recipient at the time the spell is cast. The center of the effect is mobile with the recipient.

(Emphasis mine.) The highlighted words are hyperlinked, to the description of the spell Invisibility. This is probably nitpicking a bit, but there's no reason for the second hyperlink to link to the spell description; it's referring to the quality of invisibility, not the spell Invisibility.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

When should we be seeing the Advanced Race Guide added to the PRD?

There seems to be an error in the PRD with the Reach entry for the Girallon:

Quote:
Space 10 ft.; Reach 19 ft.

Reach should be 10 ft. as per the errata document.

So all this time I've been measuring out 4/5ths of a square for nothing? Inconceivable!

yeah, it really slowed my game too ! time to react at last and face the evil typos of the PRD !

Bestiary 3 Universal Monster Rules doesn't have the table mentioned!

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/bestiary3/universalMonsterRules.html#nat ural-attacks

1) In the Core Rulebook PRD, on the Spell List for clerics, the 1st level Doom spell summary says:

Quote:
One subject takes –2 on attack rolls, damage rolls, saves, and checks.

If you click on the spell link, and read the actual description of the Doom spell, it merely says it makes the target Shaken.

There is no negative to damage rolls for being Shaken.

So either the the description of Shaken is incorrect, or the short summary description of the Doom spell on the spell list page is incorrect.

2) In the Advanced Players Guide PRD, under the entry for the Inquisitor base class, way down at the bottom where it shows the Inquisitor Spell list, the 1st level bane link takes you to the description of the bane weapon special ability, not the actual Bane spell that it should.

In the Summon Nature's Ally table, the link to the Woolly Rhinoceros doesn't work because of a typo.

DOESN'T WORK: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/monsters/rhinoceros.html#_rhinoceros-woo ly

I notice that the "Kamadan" is mentioned in the extensive copyright notice at the end of the PRD, but the "Displacer Beast" is omitted from that list. Wasn't the Kamadan based on the Displacer Beast? And weren't both monsters originally created for First Edition AD&D?

In the early days of 3.0, WotC gave the authors of Tome of Horrors an irrevocable license to update certain creatures from previous editions of the game to the new rules (most of the first ToH consisted of such updates; volumes 2 and 3 were primarily new monsters). Thanks to the OGL and WotC's permission, all the creatures from the ToH are Open Game Content and so can be used by non-WotC publishers such as Paizo. Presumably, the Kamadan was one such creature.

Good note, although you can use the table from Bestiary 2 in the meantime. I don't believe there were any changes between the two versions.

The "Jury Rig" spell ( http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateCombat/spells/juryRig.html) does not list materials (V, S, M, etc.)

The bestiary 2 entry for Ooze creature type does not list its immunity to critical hits and precision damage, unlike the bestiary 1.

The hyperlink in the Feats table for Hero's Display doesn't do anything.

The PRD still displays the old PFS logo.

The Advanced Race Guide content is now on the PRD, along with some condensing of information from the Bestiaries, and thread fixes up to this post.

Changeling says core races in the title of the tab.

This has been corrected so all of the race pages have the correct breadcrumb trail.

Again, I'm not sure if all page references are supposed to be scrubbed from the PRD, but there are still some references to pages in the Core Rulebook in the called shot rules.

Compared to the 1st printing with errata applied, the raven entry has removed the erroneous Skill Focus (Perception) feat, but has picked up another error: Perception is shown correctly as +6 in the senses line but incorrectly as +3 in the skills line (1 rank, +3 class skill, +2 Wis = 6).

Sylphs page (linked to from Featured Races) gives "permission denied".

Hairy Dude wrote:

Sylphs is misspelled as slyphs in the link.

Hairy Dude wrote:

Looks like this must have been a typo. You can navigate to Sylphs this way. I'll see about getting that fixed up.

Goblins' spells have lots of their text underlined when moused over.

Er, I mean, their descriptive pictograms, certainly not letters, no-no, no letters, are underlined! Yup, absolutely no underlined letters there! Only underlined pictures!

EDIT: Also some parts of their Alchemist archetype and Rag Doll mutagen get underlined as if were links when moused over.

Wrong spell link in PRD. In the spell list index, for the 2nd-level sorcerer/wizard spells, here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/indices/spelllists.html

The spell Haunting Mists, if you click on it, takes you instead to the spell description for the bard spell Haunting Choir.

Hold Breath

The SRD lists Hold breath as Con Modifier x 6, however, The Lizardfolk entry and the Advanced Race Guide both list it as Con Modifier x 4.

Which the Heck is it?

On my homebrew Predator (Yautja, pronounced "E-Wat-Ya") Race ive used x6, as in the actual created content available for the predators all listed it as roughly 6 or 7 times that of humans. meaning hold breath of x6 makes sense and will not be changed, no matter what the ruling. im just asking for consistency.

Hi, i checked the new pages in the Advanced race guide and noticed that the sylphs link points to

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advancedRaceGuide/featuredRaces/slyphs.h tml

instead of

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advancedRaceGuide/featuredRaces/sylphs.h tml

thanks for everything

Take a look at the new Pathfinder Reference Document. Now take a look using your phone, or your iPad. Notice anything different? That's right, it doesn't suck anymore.

In addition to now including all the open game content from Ultimate Combat and the errata for the third printing of the Bestiary, the PRD is now optimized for tablet and mobile display. Before you ask, yes, that means iPhone, iPad and Android. Probably others, too, but that's what we tested on.

I have been showing this thing off to anybody I can corral here at the office. Lissa and Chris Lambertz have put in a lot of hours tweaking this thing and they deserve all the credit. Ross deserves some too, but he gets all the credit for making the Pathfinder Battles subscriptions working. So there's plenty of credit to go around! Except for me. I take no credit for any of this. Except to say, "Make it not suck."

Since this is a major revision of several hundred pages of content and navigation, there are bound to be problems. Please use this thread to let us know anything you find that needs to be fixed, and we'll fix it as soon as we can.

And yeah, searching the PRD kind of sucks. We're working on that.

Sovereign Court Owner - Enchanted Grounds, President/Owner - Enchanted Grounds

The iPhone version of the prd has a recently broken feature. The Spell Index is not working. It shows a list of links by book and alphebet, none of which do anything. And the "look" of the page is a white background with black or blue text, unlike the rest of the iPhone prd pages.
