Mine was cardboard and acrylic paint. The grid was the easiest part to be honest. Just lay on the cutting mat, mark the intersections and draw the lines.
Most of the work was getting thy measurements right so I could build on two levels. The rest of the complex is easier... maybe I will do those tomorrow evening. Let's see wht I can manage.

That's the kind of idea that makes me wish I had some artistic skills. Most of that complex is pretty straight-forward, but that room in particular can be a little confusing, both to describe and to visualize as a player.
Kudos for this effort and thanks for the pics of the finished product.
If you want some hints on future projects, a big one to work on is "the Wreck" from SoS. Great big elements in very confusing configuration. Get that one right and its a work of art.
The Ziggurat at Golismorga, Pretty simple but there is a lot of detail that can be sketched in ahead of time, keeps the game pace up. Plus, I expanded each level about 20 or 30 feet to accommodate my rather large party.
The
Another one I'd build, even tho its not really complex is Wat Dagon, just because of what it means to the story.

yeah, I hope to do a couple of builds for this AP.
I have the sea wyvern (actually the maiden from world works)
I also plan to make a model of farshore for the players to use and adjust during ToD
The ziggurat and the wreck are also on the list.
As for artistic skills. All I have is a little patience and even less time. Give it a go and share what you've got :)
If you want some decent design/kitbash skills - carborundum's your go-to guy.

I took a shot at building my own harem battle board.
I raised the scale of the second level so it is about 25 feet(to scale) above the first level, to allow a better view of the bottom level.
The players enjoyed the battle against the harem, which took most of the session and late into the night. One extra bar-lgura was summoned in and the players were almost drained of resources at the end of the fight.
The (soon-to-be) arcane trickster was teleported to the upper level so that he could be picked off, but on his action he just moved to the edge of the platform and proceeded to run down and underneath the second level using his slippers of spider climb to run upside down.
