Well, if it really fits her backstory, it's okay at first level, but she'll have to take PC class levels eventually, to keep up.

Yeah, you'll die, but for 5 minutes, you'll have the character you really wanted to play.

Yes, any character you want is fine, as long as you start out naked with a broken stick. You will revel in your awesome ability scores, your unique story and all your cool powers, only to die in 5 minutes...
