Why is it that threads with an OP that is flagrantly silly and aggressive are more likely to spur polite conversation than do OPs that are coherent and polite?

Well, SOME people still hold the totally ridiculous view that you can troll this thread. But by applying some simple logic, it's completely obvious that you can't troll in this thread.
