Not at this time...for Ultimate Combat

Other: Unless prompted in a scenario or granted by a Chronicle, the rules for duels, performance combat, and siege engines, and all variant rules in Chapter 5 are not used in Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

The concept of piecemeal armor was pretty thoroughly discussed in ultimate combat, although frankly i found it more complex than it could possibly be worth. Keep it simple, keep it rolling. Peacemeal, sure 1/2 price @ a -3 AC, NEXT!!

So the Eastern Armor is ok (chapter 3 UC)?

I know a sorcerer who wants to wear Haramaki (0% spell failure), and for clerics/fighters Four-mirror armor appears a good option at first level (+6 AC for 45 gp) when gold is scarce.

Eastern armor is a-ok. Check out the Additional Resources if you need to check anything else :)

Only if you find it on the Additional Resources ;)

Dark Archive

I vaugely remember a single suit of piecemail armor being available on a chronicle sheet for one adventure.

I am trying to reconcile four mirrored armor with Society play and would like to get an official ruling. The additional Resources guide eliminated it for Society play as it is in the disallowed chapter in the Ultimate Combat. That was great but now it is in the Ultimate Equipment Guide and does not seem to be disallowed. What is the official ruling on use in Society play.
Is the Ultimate Combat or the Ultimate Equipment the answer?

Thank you.

It is allowed via Ultimate Equipment, so it's legal (using that source).

Then it would have to be worn over Chainmail right?

No, it comes with chainmail which the four-mirror part (which only covers the chest and back) is worn over.

Four-mirror armor is in Chapter 3 of ultimate combat. Additional Resources mentions that "Everything in the book is legal with the following exceptions...", and make no exception for Eastern Armors, so UC is a legal source for these.

Are you implying you get chain mail with the four mirrored armor at 100 gold less than the cost of chainmail alone.?

Scarab Sages

Four-Mirror armor appears in Chapter 3 of Ultimate Combat and also appears in Ultimate Equipment. It is legal from both sources.

In both sources, it is medium armor that costs 45 gp, has a +6 armor bonus, a +2 max dex bonus, a –5 armor check penalty, a 30% arcane spell failure chance, 20/15 ft. speed, and weighs 45 lbs.

Ignore the entry in piecemeal armor, and just use the entry for the full suit as in chapter 3.
