Seeking a couple of replacement players for RotRL

Gamer Connection

I seem to have lost a couple of players in my game so am now on the look out for a couple of replacements. Currently we have a Barbarian, a Cleric, an Inquisitor and a Wizard.

Pcs are still 1st level.

Take a look at AJs Dads Varisian Campaign to get a feel for the style of play.

I would be interested in joining the group as I have never played RotRL.
I have two character types in mind.
1)Slightly off his rocker Alchemist
2)Tower-shield Fighter (aka tank)

If you would be interested in either of those let me know and I can flesh something out.
What are the build guidelines?

I think the fighter would be the best option. Also we are using a 4d6 roll with discarding the lowest number. Max HP at first level. Max starting gold. XP at 500. Traits as standard. Any questions let me know.

4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 4) = 16 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 4) = 18 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 3) = 17 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 2, 5) = 19 = 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6, 2) = 17 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 6) = 16 = 15
All I can say is Wow! Thank you Mr. Dice Roller!

Cool!

Here is an avatar for him. Meet Kavrik Doln. I will be working up the full profile as I go.

EDIT: Character Sheet is up. Will read up a bit more through the players guide and come up with a background.

4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 6) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 1) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 1) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 6) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 4) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2, 3) = 11

I hate this SOOOO much...

4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 5, 6) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 3, 5) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 3) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 5) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 5) = 20

Anything in particular you are looking for to round out the group? Looks like you need a trapfinder, what about face?

Definately need a rogue.

What kind of timeline are you thinking until recruitment closes?

Meet Sephird Brookside, procurer of lost possessions, wealth redistribution specialist, and connoisseur extraordinaire.

Sephird is a young human recently on his own, tired of his adoptive dwarven parents constant nagging to get on with his life, he did just that, got on with it, and left the Mindspin Mountains. His travels have brought him to Sandpoint and he has found something about the town pulls to him. He has lived here for the last few months.

** spoiler omitted **

I like the character. Nice and simple. Your in!

Kavrik was raised in Cheliax, the son of a minor noble. He grew up admiring the fine military formations and impressive figures of the Hellknights, looking only to join their ranks when he became of age. After being accepted into the ranks of the Hellknight Armigers and spending 2 years doing the grunt work he was finally accepted into ranks of the knights. During his first assignment he was ordered to remove some farmers from their homes because they could not pay their debts. The farmers and neighbors raised arms against the trained knights and instead of just defending themselves and quelling this small rebellion, he was ordered to kill them, their families and burn their houses to the ground. Kavrik just couldn't fathom having to murder entire families and in order to try and prevent this slaughter actually ended up assaulting his superior and two other knights but the task was accomplished regardless of his actions. After this encounter Kavrik knew he had to run and so run he did, all the way to Sandpoint.
Kavrik is trying to keep a low profile to avoid being recognized by any Chelish agents but considering what happened with those families his conscience demands that he right the wrong he was part of by helping those in need.

Sweet! Looking forward to it!

Your in as well. Good background. :)

Both Sephird and Kavrik are just what I am looking for. Two pc's is enough for now. Thanks to anyone else who was considering it.

Sweet! Thanks!

How do you want to introduce the characters into the story?

Sephird and Kavrik. I will let you enter the adventure as adventurers who have just arrived in Sandpoint today. Hearing news of the recent Goblin attacks, you have come to the mayors office to see what aid you can offer... Some of the other characters are heading over there so its a good time to meet them. Feel free to join in at AJ's Dads Varisian Campaign
