I love that I am so blessed. My professor and church collectively gave me $175 worth of grocery gift cards that can also be used for gas.
I love semester break and cuddling with my cat every morning.

I love my Christmas gift to myself, and look forward to unwrapping it.So what is it? Huh? Huh?
It's a Marvel Super Hero Lego set with Ghost Rider, Spider Man, and Hobgoblin. Being a big fan of Ghost Rider, he's all I want out of the set. The rest will go to my boy, who is getting a bunch of other Lego stuff this year.
Not typically the kind of gift I would present myself with. More of a whim gift. I also thought my boy might get some amusement out of seeing daddy buy himself some Legos.

I complained last night on FB that I had not had any fruitcake this Christmas season and I couldn't get out and get any because I was down with the flu. Within minutes a friend showed up out of the blue with a fruitcake for me. I know some really great people.

The first step to being happy is to love yourself... I've never understood it when people criticise others for 'loving themselves'.... if you are not your own BFF then things will go very wrong at some point.

My mother in law passed away at 3:43 am this morning. I love that I had the privilege of being her son in law for over 25 years.

I love sun-shiny mornings with a promise of gumbo in the very near future.
I may have gumbo tonight, as a matter of fact. It comes from a box, so it won't be as good, but I'm a terrible cook as well as not even liking to do so. But, it'll be pretty decent and I'll make enough to last a couple of days so there's that.

Thanks. I love good gumbo. But like I said, I'm a horrible cook and unless it comes from a box or can I'm pretty helpless. There's a restaurant in Little Rock (about 25 miles from me) that makes really delicious gumbo, but I rarely get the chance to go there. I always get a trio of fish tacos to go with it.
Dang it... now I want fish tacos.

I love that most everything I make in the kitchen comes from a box or a can (or, sometimes, if I'm really feeling adventurous, both mixed together)! I love how much enjoyment I get from such foods, despite the dismay felt by more sophisticated pallets! I love that you guys are awesome here!

I'm so far behind on the series I do watch it's not even funny. I love Daredevil, but I'm finding I can't watch more than one episode of anything at a time anymore. I totally lost interest in Jessica Jones, I have 2 episodes left to go on Stranger Things, and haven't even started Luke Cage yet. I barely keep up with Agents of SHIELD and the CW DC heroes shows anymore. I love these shows but I'm gradually losing interest in anything television. If others didn't use my Netflix account I'd probably just drop it.
I love the painkillers I have to take for my chronic pain. Especially after falling and twisting my bad knee this morning while walking the dingoes.

I never enjoyed that. I'm too impatient, I guess. I just wanna get everything over with and get out.
