Which Character Class Gets Laid Most?

Posted this in another thread, but I feel it needs to be discussed more ;)

In the casters vs. non-casters argument, casters may be more powerful than non-casters, but casters can never compete with non-casters in the getting laid competition. Who is the hot, rich, horny young princess that the PC group just rescued from the dragon gonna grapple between the sheets with: The pale, stringbean Wizard with braces, bifocals and acne? The smelly, pipeweed smoking, dirt-poor hippy Druid?

Or, would she rather get naked with the bronzed martial god (Fighter or Barbarian) who has sculpted abs and 24-inch biceps? Even Rogues score better than Wizards here cause they got the rebellious "bad boy" factor going for them!

Casters have power but non-casters get the girls!

However, my number one go-to class to win the poon competition is the Bard. IMHO, no other class can compete with their boy-band appeal.

Sound off gamers! Which character class would get laid most (in-game)?

Bard. Women like musicians.

Sorry to disappoint, but there's no way a fighter or barbarian has better luck than a sorcerer or bard. It's ALL they're good for, after all. ;)

Forgot about Sorcerers. They're casters and pretty. I think Sorcerers win.

Liberty's Edge

I have to agree with Bard here. They generally have a decent bit of martial in them (read: fit figure) while still having a very good charisma score. And they also tend to invest in skills like perform and diplomacy, and even intimidate. This means they are physically fit, suave, and just as capable of scaring the s#&~ out of someone as they are writing their woman a sonnet.

Some of the more martially-minded sorcerers might be in the same bracket. Oracles would do well, but I think their curse would almost certainly work against them here.

I'm thinking that the "most laid" goes to (in order): Bard, Paladin, Sorcerer.

Running a bard of Calistria, I say, anyone who reveres Calistria would likely get more tail than other classes.

That said, my bard regularly hosts orgies, and by regularly, I mean just about every day she has multiple partners in sessions that last several hours long.

... if she's not actually "working." But, she just recently attained Calistria's favor in a big way, so she's celebrating.

I played a bard character like that once.. Ended up retiring them due to a horrible disease called children. Sadly, bards do not have a "Birth Control" spell.

Sorcerers with their air of mystique and exotic good looks, not to to mention that bluff (the fall to skill of any seducer/seductress) is one of the few charisma based skills this charisma based class has.

TCG has a point about the bard though, whats a musician without a few groupies?

Paladins with their powerfull personalities and heroic appeal might if they weren't such stick-in-the-muds.

Low charisma wizards love making simulacrums of hotties. They may be made of ice and snow, but they're never frigid.

Barbarians get all the ladies.

It's a mind affecting (compulsion) effect, like how guys who are constantly in and out of prison get all the ladies.

The obvious answer is Hennet, Sorcerer.

Charisma casters followed by face rogues

But non cha caster still can take Eagle's Splendor, Bear's Endurance and Bulls strength for a cha/con/str bump and alter self/ disguise spells, polymorph effects, creative enlarge person. Means they look every bit of the scuplted gods as the brawlers. Or enlarging ones partner to ...

And if you delve into Book of Erotic Fantasy well... to be able to give your partner(s) a happy ending from across the room is generally a perk. and spells to guarantee no unwanted pregnancy / restoration means you might be able to convince the princesses future husband she has remained chaste. Also disrobe is one of the best spells ever written for a game.

I know Frank Frazetta and Boris Vallejo liked to depict women in fantasy as nothing but naive and swooning, buxom young tarts in heat over beefcakes with battle axes, but seriously, why should women in fantasy be any less diverse in their preferences than the real world?

I'm gonna have to....disagree with you ... there about the paladins. They might be pretty and martial, but I imagine they're total tools. It's like a supermodel football player who looks good, but once you actually speak to them they have ZERO personality. After you sleep with them a couple of times they get really boring. True story.

So instead of sorting the list by the percentage of the most common womanly preference times the rate of attracting that preference, now we need to the the Sum of Rate(having preference) * P(attracting one with that preference). Now that just gets hard. This means we not only have to establish enough of the common preferences to get at least 90+% of women included, but we also have to figure out what the probably of attraction is for each class and for each preference, and then do math the make the numbers count. Oh, and I almost forgot, we also have to take into account those probabilities relative to level and build, and weigh these levels and builds based on their respective probabilities within the class.

Screw it. Sorcerer casts "Charm Person" at level 1. They win. (Note that Charm Person has charisma checks to enforce action, so no-go for wizards).

Key word: AFTER. AFTER you sleep with them.

Anyone that can cast alter self. :P

A paladin in our kingmaker game is quite the opposite. He is certianly lawful good, but he has a reputation as being quite the ladies' man. Complete with the part where he goes on the brothel circuit from time to time.

And you know what? It's fine. Because he's a respectful ladies' man paladin.

As is my polynesian inspired relic guardian paladin. Chicks dig tattoos

I think Mirrel's got a point here, Paladins with their massive muscles and dazzling smiles could get some serious action and be a real contender here. However, they would have to remove their chastity belts first. Let's make a comparison here:

Paladin
Benefits: Massive muscles, perfect hair, great smile, immune to disease.

Drawbacks: Inexperienced at flirting, Chastity belt.

Bard
Benefits: Lean body, dazzling smile, terrific hair, experienced flirter, musician.

Drawbacks: Probable carrier of several sexually transmitted diseases.

Grand Lodge

What about pallys? They have the strength and the charisma to get the ladies. And on top of that they have immunity to diseases. Yes, many religions are more strict than others. But I'm sure there are many that get get a holy mount if you know what I mean.

Edit: dang it. Ninja'd. But not all pallys have a chastity belt or inexperience. A proper paladin would know how to treat a lady and how to sweep her off her feet.

A Chivalrous Pervert?

I played a paladin of Sune who embodied this Trope. XD

In a 3PP splat book, they do. It's called Barren Fields, lasts 30 min. per level, and is hardly as they would say, game breaking. Or there is the night tea.

'Course, this is all subject to interpretation as my husband is my GM for this adventure and he seems to love throwing my poor bard for a loop when things look most comfortable. Like the Herald of Calistria who represents Vengeance simultaneously being interested in her as a partner and how her head might look separated from her shoulders and her ascent to divinity. Gotta love those tricksy CE elves that are older than time.

Brothels don't count though Trinam. Even my horrifically ugly Half-Orc Fighter gets laid in a brothel. On the other hand, immunity to disease does have it's uses...

To answer the question? Charisma casters. (Hell, even oracles aren't exempt unless they have the wasting curse.)

Not necessarily.

Refer to Frazetta's Thuvia, Maid of Mars cover. Carthoris is in a panic, and is trying to jump between Thuvia and the banth. Thuvia looks smug.

Rumor has it that Frazetta actually intended it that way: Thuvia, after all, apparently had a few levels in some class that gave her wild empathy.

Having married a guy who's pretty damn close to "lawful good," I disagree. :P

I think it's a tie between Paladin and Bard. They both have pro's and con's.

This is an interesting argument for a Paladin as well. A Paladin of Calistria must get some crazy hot action, like "Gimme a minute baby, after going 6 hours non-stop with you and your eight sisters, I'm dehydrated and pulled a muscle. However, that's what Lay on Hands is for!".

Wax on, wax off, ready for round 2.

Depends on the Bloodline though, Golem. I imagine certain Bloodlines (Abyssal, for example), might make a Sorcerer powerful ugly.

Abyssal not so sure. Abberant most definitely. Unless of course the person is into kinky tentacle stuff.

Has the UC come up with chaotic paladin variants? I don't understand how one is a paladin of Calistria, maybe upholding lust as something that is not bad, at the most... like a Paladin of Arshea, perhaps, but trickery and revenge don't seem like Lawful things.

Witch - ours has Charisma 10 and decided that she wants to find herself man for the night. Due to time constraints I told her to roll. She got natural 20, of course...

"Genetic" factors are covered in the Charisma score (as much as any human trait can be summed up in a single stat). So if they were ugly that would be reflected. Perhaps their "inhumanness" is strangely appealing. like someone with an extic look.

Or perhaps some people are into horns and tails. It takes all kinds.

This post almost got lost in the shuffle, but brings up a valid point. The "Wild Man" factor can be very attractive to the ladies. After all, Conan never had problems getting laid.

To use a more recent example, girls seem to love that beefcake werewolf dude from "True Blood", and he definitely fits the "Wild Man" stereotype.

Oracles. As charismatic as the bards and sorcerers, but with the bonus that they are provably chosen messengers of the divine, and unlike paladins they don't have the code of honor hangups.

Silver Crusade

I say Rangers are one, Only class to get Endurance as a feat, and what woman doesn't like the suave outdoorsman who can go much longer than the noormal guy and keep truckin' even after that...

Then again Now Im thinking Monks because...lets face it Im sure there are few man that you feel safe in case of danger naked as well as fully armed (And com'on 2d10 humps? Gonna be a heck of a night and he has Ki to boost that, your guranteed to be unconscious every time, unless your a barbarian chick...which is hawt on so many other levels)

Don't tell that to my Pimadin. There's holy smiting... and then there's 'holy smiting'.

And all his girls are guaranteed disease and drug free as well as being actually taken care of.

Besides have you seen his mounts blinged out horse shoes?

Did Conan get the girls because he was a wildman and or did Conan get the girls because Robert E. Howard wanted him to get the girls? Tyrion Lannister got the girls too but 'wildman' is not something I would use to describe him.

As for you're more recent example, girls seem to like Bradly Cooper too. But they like him because he is charming, multicultural, and polite.

It ain't nice, but casters can get laid anytime they want.

Any charisma based caster that focuses in charm and compulsion spells will have a very easy time getting laid.

Lol, the "Tantric Monk". Good call, maybe Paizo should make that into an Archetype!

I've seen several posts like this. This is meant to be a funny and lighthearted thread, so please let's leave out magical compulsion as a means of getting laid. I'm really asking about which character class has the "whole package" in terms of getting laid, no force or compulsion allowed.

Lol, tentacles. There is a bright side to that I guess. To use my example above, the tentacled Aberrant Sorcerer could say "Hey baby, I can take care of you and your eight sisters all at the same time!"

Comparison time again, Monk vs. Sorcerer. Who brings more to the table?

Monk
Benefits: Incredible dexterity and stamina, can hit the right spot and go at it all night. Asian philosophy makes him seem deep and mysterious.

Drawbacks: Somewhat prude, and usually dirt-poor.

Sorcerer
Benefits: Good looks and charm, exotic and mysterious.

Drawbacks: May have some inappropriate appendages (bat wings, tentacles, tail, etc.), body probably pretty meh.

Overall I'd say the Sorcerer wins, assuming he has no weird anatomical issues. However, once that monk bags a few girls and word gets around, watch out! There will be a stampede of girls trying to get him in the sack.
