Poor Fezzic is confused he wants to be a Pathfinder but he doesn’t know what character class to choose.

I am thinking of making a new character for PFS inspired by Fezzic.

I would like this Fezzic to be able to

1) Throw stones at people

2) Fight gangs bare handed for local charities,

3) Climb the cliffs of insanity…

4) Pick a goblin up and squeeze him to death,

5) Or take that goblin and use him to bodily beat other goblins with.

6) Or take said goblin and throw him at another goblin.

Fezzic doesn’t want to find himself Unemployed in Greenland so he is hoping the Pathfinder Society might find some work for him. He doesn’t want to run into Venccini again although he would be happy to see Inigo.

With a 20-point buy these are the stats I have come up with so far.

Strength 20 +5
Dexterity 12 +1
Constitution 14 +2
Intelligence 7 -2
Wisdom 12 +1
Charisma 7 -2

I am not sure what race to pick ½ orc or human

I am not sure what class to pick? Barbarian? Monk? Fighter?

I am not sure what feats to take.

And I am not sure what arch type to pick.

Maybe the ability scores can use some work too. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Sadly, you have to wait till 10th level, but Barbarian has a new rage power in UC that lets you pick up opponents and use them as a weapon until they fall unconscious.

There are likewise other rage powers (I think in the APG) that let you throw big rocks at people, kind of like giants.

Unfortunately, and I do very much feel this, there are no "pick up and throw people" rules.

Barbarian with the Pugilist archetype

- or –
Fighter with the new archetype that lets you fight without weapons

If there is an archetype that gives you Throw Anything take that

Or take the feat Throw Anything.

I’d also take the feat tree that lets you use improvisational weapons without much penalty or no penalty.

Race, I’d pick Human for the extra feat if you are a Barbarian or Monk.

Half Orc if you are a Fighter.

Maybe my math is wrong, but it looks like you shorted yourself 2 points in your stat buy.

If you take Throw Anything and the feat that lets you use improvisational weapons, wouldn’t that let you throw improvisational weapons, like other people?

Yes he did, and to fully show Fezzic, I'd reduce Wisdom to 9 and raise Con to 16.

Agreed. Although one could argue that his CHA should be higher, seeing as he's such a lovable character.

From a very RAW reading, Improvised Weapons are objects, which at least in 3.5 days was always a very specific term to distinguish from creatures. I don't have the time right now to track down it's usage in PF, but I'd assume it hasn't changed much.

Under the Grapple rules there isn't anything about throwing, though you can move the grappled creature to an adjacent square. A very high Reposition roll comes the closest to a throw, though there is no damage resulting from the maneuver, which kind of makes it lose the flavor of being thrown.

Even the Hurling rage powers are specific about objects, and only talk about their size category in terms of how it work. Evidently a small sized rock, which I'd presume would weigh vastly more than a goblin, is still throwable. For simplicity sake the rules wave a vast amount of physics, and silo the action into very specific effects.

If it weren't for Fezzic having low Wisdom, I'd recommend looking at two of the new monk archetypes in Ultimate Combat, namely Martial Artist (martial arts without ki) and Tetori (essentially a monk specializing in grappling). There's also the Ki Throw feat from Advanced Player's Guide: "Your physical control and mastery of momentum allows you to throw enemies."

Thank you all for your posts.

Mok thank you I just looked up the rage power “body Bludgeon” and I have to admit that was exactly what I had in mind. Sadly as you pointed out, 10 level. I don’t think Fezzzic will be finding any goblins to swing by the ankles at level 10.

Jiggy and Andrew Christian, thank you for pointing that out, after redoing the math, I have shorted myself 2 points. I added them to constitution.

Strength 20+5 ( 17_points +2 racial modifier)
Dexterity 12+1 (2 points)
Constitution 15 +2 (7 points)
Wisdom 12+1 (2 points)
Intelligence 7-2 (-4)
Charisma 7-2 (-4)

Andrew Christian, thank you for the suggestions…this build certainly would be a combat machine.

Strength 20 +5 (17 points +2 racial modifier)
Dexterity 12 +1 (2 points)
Constitution 16 +3 (10 points)
Wisdom 9-1 (-1 point)
Intelligence 7 -2 (-4 points)
Charisma 7-2 (-4 points)

I suppose this would fit the “ I can’t help it if I am the biggest and the strongest. I don’t even exercise”

I picked a 7 for Fezzic's intelligence because he wasn’t the brightest guy in the room.
I picked a 7 for charisma, not because he isn’t a likable guy nor is he a rude smelly cantankerous Ulfen; I picked the 7 to represent his “force of personality”. He seems to need and want someone to tell him what to do…and happily by the end of the movie, he figures out how to do something right by himself, like getting the horses.

I picked a 12 in wisdom, because I felt that reflected the “ I don’t think that’s right killing an innocent girl or “ or the now Iconic “anyone want a peanut” line. Also he knew what to do to care for his inebriated friend. Inigo.

I think what I will do is make Fezzic a Human Mok. From his monk class he gets Stunning fist, and Improved Unarmed Strike. I think for feats Ill take Improved grapple of course. Ill also take Catch off Guard, and Throw anything.

This way Fezzic can throw rocks. I think for now Fezzic will have to content himself with grabbing and squezing his goblins into unconsciousness before body bludgeoning other goblins with his goblin “throw toy”.

I guess down the road as Fezzic gains levels I will have to keep my eye out for Improved grapple and Greater grapple.

ArVagor, I will take a look at these archtypes thank you.

Just out of curiosity, I wonder if i could take the Improved Natural Attack to increase the damage dice Fezzic would use in combat? I remember doing this in 3.5
