I am freezing Skills at 8 ranks in my campaign. Also not using experience points. Story driven advancement. I also plan on capping levels at 10 and using epic levels/tiers after that.
Anyone have any preferences ... I think we have some super vague info on each of the clans, not really sure that it helps us pick one.
I'll make sure Heng doesn't separate himself from the party again so I can help push things along next time. It has been serious summer doldrums in all my games lately. It seems more so than usual this year. I wonder if it is a symptom of just how F-ed up the world seems lately.

What can I do to get things moving along at a consistent pace? I know I'm responsible for a few delays, but we seem to keep getting hung up in dialog. I'm open to suggestions.

I have trouble finding time to post on the weekend, but have been doing my best to post more frequently and drive the story. Not sure what else can be done at this point. Summer tends to eat away at posting for all campaigns I've noticed.

I find myself typing up another apology for yet another heinous delay in game posting! I'm going through an upcoming retirement from the military, post-retirement job hunt, and pending household move... the next few months are going to be busy. Question: do you mind if I drop the Pal level and retrain back to straight monk? I took the level of paladin thinking it fit the character, but mostly that smite would be nice to bypass the monk's DR limitations. The Ki Pool rules have since fixed that and honestly, without any CHA I'm not getting anything out of the Paladin level.
Feat: Discordant Voice (When I'm singing, EVERYONE adds +1d6 sonic damage to their weapons. Yesssss)

Yeah, that's fine. I'm not sure the paladin splash has come up much as a major factor.

Thanks for the little side stories. Heng isn't the most dynamic character I've ever created. Turns out being extremely restrained isn't particularly interesting. At least the pun-titles are fun : )

Also, you're still carrying a permanent negative level. Harlan has restoration but there's a gold cost.
Not that you guys are too worried about the NPC retraining, but after the IC discussion, here's what I went with:
Retrained the 3 rogue levels into bard.
Retrained into the Court Bard archetype.
Retrained feats Arcane Strike to Arcane Shield, and Weapon Finesse to Intimidating Performance.
Slight skill point retooling, mostly into knowledge and perform skills.
New spells!
It seems like inputs have been lagging recently (excluding Heng). You guys have a vector, but I need a bit more thrust from ya'll to get through the final chapter. Anything I can do to help motivate?
