Thought I'd point out that (at least in my opinion) the art for the Slyph (Bestiary 2 pg. 258) actually makes a much better Bralani (Bestiary 1 pg. 24) So when you do a Bralani mini you might keep that in mind. :)
More Adventure Path minis. I'm running Serpent's Skull, and I would love
Serpent's Skull:
Mwangi tribes, festrog, eloko, tuewera, chemosit, charau-ka, morlock, urdefhans, serpentfolk, and maybe even N'ketchi, Juliver and Eando Kane et al as great minis for any campaign. Plus BBEGs like Klorak the Red, Malikadna, Yarzoth, Issilar, Izon, etc would be very cool and unique to Pathfinder's artwork. Oh, and an Avatar of Ydersius mini... (any god really) Gnarly...(wishlist, right?)

I use both. But all swarms are the same size (Large), yet have two qualities that makes those minis worthless other than when they first appear: they're mutable, in that they can occupy any 4 contiguious spaces, and they have to move into an opponent's space to attack. Once a swarm is doing anything other than occupying a 10x10 area with no opponents (which makes them kind of pointless), those Large minis are no help at all. I just use 4 of the smaller ones whenever I want a swarm. Or a lot more of them when it's a ruin swarm.
Liz Courts wrote: They're not pre-painted plastics, but there are some Serpent's Skull miniatures here. Thank you for the link, I'll be using many of these for my games! A great way to go for the more common elements, for sure. And I'd still purchase special/unique pre-painted minis for the AP(s) I would run in the future, so if Paizo's leaning that way... :)
Stealing the suggestion of Brian Darnell's player: Bloatmage
MillerHero wrote:
Thanks MillerHero. Scott Sander's has been having a heck of a time finding an obese figure for his bloatmage.
OK, here goes (keep in mind I will be running the Carrion Crown Adventure path when my rotation to DM comes up): Verorianna (Cover of Haunting of Harrowstone)
The Beast of Lepidstadt (Classic Horrors Revisited)
Whispering Way Cultists
Skum (3 or 4 different + A large based on Iq'lothatuaa; Wake of the Watcher, pg 42)
Merrick Sais (Ashes at Dawn, pg 22)
Pretty much any common animal and any aberration. There is a decided lack of non-humanoid minis in most pre-painted sets. And of course, more dragons of all types (Chromatic, Metalic, Primal, Imperial, Drakes, Linnorms, Wyverns, anything like that). And some decent dinosaurs (a featherd Velociraptor, a Tyranosaur with arms to scale, that sort of thing)
Yeti
Familiars:
Bar crowd:
Stuff:
Ease off of the half celestial dragonborn warforged dire werebadgers, just a badger will do.
I would like to see these done, from the Rival Guide: The Dust Coven (all of them) also The Hellblood Corsairs (so they can show up in my Skull and Shackles AP) From the GameMastery Guide page 288 (brigand) City Watch page 260, Entertainer page 272, Marauder from 280(perfect for Skull and Shackles!) page 282 Mercenary, and the Sailor on page 294 (another perfect for Skull and Shackles!) Also last but not least Tyla the Female Thief from same book page 100 (Chapter 5, Rewards)

I'd like to see a general line of "common folk" of various kinds. Barmaids, craftsmen, farmers, etc. Just a general assortment of people of all ages to populate town scenes with. SterlingEdge wrote:
I'd also like to see some "dressing" type stuff.

Kor I'd include : Blackjackthe queen sabine carrion golems reefclaws possibly trina (she shows up at least 3 times) imp/psudodragon (if they could be in battle combined in one sculpt, that would be awesome) sable company marine (on hippogriff) Possibly a shoanti or two otygughs

Yes! We absolutely need this. I would just add a goblin on fire, like that picture on page 16 of "Classic Monsters Revisited." We should have something to replace a standard goblin mini with when their standard goblin tendencies cause things to go horribly wrong (or horribly right, depending on your point of view).
demihuman undeads like zombies ,ghouls and skeleons
Here's some of my most wanted miniatures: Choker (one of my favorite low-CR monsters),
Oh, yeah, and more goblins, orcs, skeletons/zombies, and so on.
I would like to set familiars, creatures for the Summon Monsters and Summon Natures Ally, animal companions, figures for the new PC races, and mounts besides horses. If possible I would like to see mounts designed so that you could put the smaller rider on the base of the mount.
Gerald Flynn wrote: If possible I would like to see mounts designed so that you could put the smaller rider on the base of the mount. It would be nice to have a mount with a detachable area where you could place a miniature.
I have a little over 6000 minis so could qualify as an addict? Going over the AP's here are some I'd like to see, in order of non existant to already out there: Skum! There are cetainly NONE of these in prepainted plastic. And since the art is so inspoiring I'd love to see these in plastic : .
All form CC4 - Zhab boath - the Skum on the cover, Iq'lothatua! Aranea! : .
but really only Akinasa from Forrest of spirits this would just look too awesome as a mini Ettercaps - yeah there are two but there is certainly no... : .
no WEAVERWORM - however use the art at the start of broken moon, not the art in the bestiary A Decapus! : .
The hidden beast form RolRL or Nindinzego form Brinewall legacy The Emkrah :
From the Jackals price bestary Lovecraftian goodies : .
Dark Young of Shubniggurath, mi-go, a GUG!!!!!!, hound of Tindalos - especially if RotRL art is used From the serpents skull path : .
Urdefhain,Morlocks - any here as the art is universally good for both of these. The vegepygmy on p33 of City of seven spears, ain't no vegepygmies in plastic Hobgoblins - yeah there are plently but the initial ones were great and the later ones really suffered - especially the only female : .
Jade Regent, forrest of spirits, the hobgoblin on p32, the swine shogun, and really the sister of broken path on p41 - more FEMALES! A flesh golem : .
coule be based on the beast of leipstad artwork from the cover of CC2, better still the the faceless golems on 53 of the same volume or even the Kava Devil from Vaults of Madness for something unique that sets it apart from other flesh golems A dark Creeper : .
Grine from CC2! There are a ton of vampire out there but given the great artwork would love to see minis of any of these - especially females since there are none of those available in plastic : .
Any vampire from CC5 but especially Merrick Sais, Lady Zunaida, Ramoska Arkmios - A Nosferatu! Aisa Dublesse! Jair from coucil of thieves Gnolls and their beasts of war - yeah there are lots of gnolls but Paizo could given them a unified look and add beasts (and I just like gnolls as basic monsters, much better than orcs after all) :
gnolls, especially the carrion king and his morgh form(technically undeadI know, but he's still based on a gnoll), hyenas (although there are good versions of these form War of tehe dragon queen), and more importantly hyenadons and gnolls mounted on these In the land of HUGES - there is still no huge water elemental - a massive whole in the minis market - have all three other types but never this one. And Llinorms, there are a ton of dragons out there, and thankfully one of each size category now, but this is really unique to Pathfinder (well the use is), and a huge or even gargantuan (?) would be great. Finally, any clerics of evil gods would be good, but the artwork for Urgathoans seems universally creepy and would make great minis. And finally, finally, mounted monsters. Yep, just basic monsters (orcs, gobbos, gnolls, ettercaps, hobgoblins etc on mounts) A great way to add variety to a group of monsters and some cool minis!
I know I've said it before but Aquatic minis would be great.
As for specifics:
One mini that I've wanted for a while now is a soul-bound doll. It seems to crop up in several Pathfinder Society Scenarios, and it would be nice to have a mini that actually looks like a demonic little doll. I've used the brain-in-a-jar in the past, but it's just not the same.
gbonehead wrote:
I agree wholeheartedly. The minis have to be functional, as well as being visually appealing. And swarms, well, swarm. And since you need them in multiples of four, maybe they could come in pairs or even quartets in the boosters!
I'm really looking forward to hoards of kobolds in all five colors. Also, keep the orcs coming. There was a lot of grief given about the first two in H&M, but once in hand I was quite impressed with them. I'd love to build up an army of green orcs. Also, with all the humanoid races, make some that have been advanced through classes \ prestige classes.. That really helps when incorporating them in higher level campaigns. Please add some tiny's, to cover the missing familiars. Cats, snakes, ravens and hawks are sorely needing representation. Elevate the birds into flying poses.
An male whip wielder would be nice, the only male whip wielder i know its a metal mini from reaper - and it's indiana jones. An gypsie like bard - and, speaking of them, bards. Firearms wielders. Oriental-like minis. (Not just japan, chinese, indu and philipines-like warrior would be very nice). Decent crossbow wielders African-like warriors. War dogs! For the love of god! They dont's exist in any way in prepainted! Well, that was all i could remember this late.
It's not possible to be a fan of Pathfinder and not have a liking for the little maniacal green skin machines.

Of course, I'd be just as happy with Pawns, lol
Some people have mentioned swarm minis.
Also, what weapon/race/gender combinations do people find hard to find?
For NPCs/PC-like characters, I would only be interested in them if the PCs are supposed to meet them in more than one AP/module/adventure/scenario otherwise I would much rather have a new monster. I would be much less interested in NPC characters that only appear in chronicles books or player companions, as it is a very slight chance they would ever get used (unless you decide to put them in a published adventure)

I'm on the opposite end. Most monsters, aside from many of the humanoids, I would only ever use once. PCs/NPCs would see repeated use because they can stand in for much more of the things players interact with. I prefer to run very human-centric games though, so class leveled NPCs are a very common enemy.
