i have been waiting to get mine since friday thanks to UPS. they have been in one town over since friday morning, and for some reason they did not want me to have them until today. i bet that they are over there playing with them right now.
UPS' tracking info shows my order left Portland at ~3am on the 5th... and hasn't shown up anywhere. The tracking page does assure me that my order is "in transit" and "on time" for delivery Wednesday (Jan 11th). I live in Alabama, FWIW.

I regret my ship with subscription choice.
If you switch your subscription to "Never Hold Anything" after the product has been processed for subscribers you will want to then go to your My Account page and choose "ship as soon as possible" for your sidecart. Or you can contact Customer Service (email, messageboards or phone) and we can get your order processed as soon as possible.

Wait. What?
I thought by becoming a dual minis subscriber I'd automatically get two sets of all the minis put out by WizKids.
Are you saying that I'll need to also keep an eye out for some of the releases and purchase those separately because not all minis are automatically shipped to subscribers?
I apologize if this is obvious, because it's confusing the heck out of me, with all the non-subscribe things going on these days.
Can't you just offer a "And All The Rest" subscription? :)

The subscription is a Case Subsciption. Those encounter packs are not considered cases. Cases are just the big collections like this one and the Runelords coming up.
My question is when are singles going to available. I have about 15 to 20 commons I would like to pick up to round out what I got in my two cases.

You may also wish to look into "slots" in the bricks and mixing them up a bit better. Back row, 4th from left contains 50% lich, 25% vampire and 25% Succubus. All other have correlations as well but I thought that might be the most desired "slot". Also on the larges 3rd from left has the rarer Huges, 25% frost giant, 25% manticore, 25% Chimera, and 25% cave spider dude.
Of course, all our cases come from one lot it might be this isn't the end all be all authority on this matter. It's held true for the first 30 cases though.

What really bothers me though is the quality of the molds. It scares me hearing that miniatures are coming off their plastic molds, faces are extremely rough and weapons (arrow) breaking, poorly painted faces and minis being off in size.
One thing I wanted to note here is that when Dragnmoon said "The majority of my Minis where lose from the plastic molds that where supposed to hold them," he wasn't saying they came off the *bases*—he meant they had popped out of the little clear plastic trays that keep the minis from moving around in the box. Obviously, that's still not desirable, but it's not as horrible as it may have sounded.)
Also, when it comes to scale, this set did teach us a few lessons about how to communicate scale with WizKids—and how to figure out when a sculpt has scale issues before it's too late—and you'll see fewer issues in future sets. (We wish the troll were a bit bigger and the dire rat were a little smaller, but the rest are generally close to where we want them to be.)

Yup that is what I meant... and the Dire Rat was too big.

I wish the troll were at least as big as the ogre but I love the rat just the way it is...

Thanks for clearing that up, Vic. Where I agree that it is still not desireable, it doesn't bother me anywhere near as much as the mini is still together.

What I am happy to see is the mistakes have been realized and steps are being taken to resolve for future sets.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Edit: And still waiting for my case. Hopefully it will show up today. *keeps fingers crossed*

I am also still waiting for my case. It is scheduled to arrive Thursday. That's what I get for living on the other side of the country (Massachusetts) from the Paizo warehouse.
It would probably be a tough sell to convince the family to move across the country JUST to get my Pathfinder subscriptions a little faster, though.

That's the truly important thing. The most successful are those that try lots of things and learn from mistakes, not the ones who blindly charge ahead 'knowing' their first attempt is the one correct way.

17 Human Ranger x3
18 Elf Wizard x3
19 Half-Elf Cleric x2
20 Dwarf Fighter None
21 Human Druid x2
22 Gnome Fighter x1
23 Dire Rat x1

24 Gargoyle x2
25 Half-Orc Barbarian x1

35 Manticore x1
36 Giant Caveweaver Spider x1
37 Frost Giant x1
38 Succubus x2

It's crazy that I got only 1 Gnome/Dire Rat out of the whole case, and ZERO zombies. No Dwarf Fighter either. One of my two "Seelah, Human Paladin" came out of the pack with the shield arm broken off.

What prevents Paizo from having an encounter pack subscription? It's clearly not "they're not made by Paizo," since there's a Pathfinder Battles Case Subscription.
Vic mentioned this earlier in the thread:
Nope. With the case subscription, the existence of the case premium made for a sensible benefit, but with the Encounter Packs, we don't really have a decent potential benefit to offer.
So, you might ask, if we're able to offer case subscribers a discount code for an Encounter Pack, why can't we just offer a discount on the Encounter Pack itself? The answer is that the Encounter Pack discount is subsidized by the profits from the case, which is only viable because it's a high ticket item. (Basically, a non-discounted case plus a discounted case premium plus a discounted Encounter Pack gives you value while still making us some profit.)

I've read in a couple posts now that people have received minis where parts have broken off. I can understand if it's only one or two minis that have that problem then I'll just deal with it, but if there are at least several of them broken like that in a case, is there anything we can do in regards to replacement? Or is it just tough luck?

You should also realize that the majority probably have had no issues with this as well. I know my case arrived fine without any broken minis, and at least 1 of each of the 40 molds. I was worried when I saw what USPS did to the box, but Paizo packed the case in a box that was more than twice the size of the mini's case and had TONS of packing peanuts to absorb most any kind of shock.

Just want to be clear, I never meant the ‘tough luck’ in a sarcastic or snide remark, just didn’t know how to come across without sounding negative. I’ve always had great customer service with Paizo in the past.

That is great to hear, thank you. I’m hoping I receive my case today.
And on another note, I am not sure how others feel, but this is someone who prefers the bubble wrap over the packing peanuts. Peanuts make such a mess.

Just a reminder, we are posting case breakdowns in this thread: Pathfinder Battles Case Content Experience.
After just a few entries, some interesting pattens seem to be coming out. Like more-rare and less-rare large figures.
Thanks for your efforts.

Hobbun - WIZKIDS has always been good with replacing figures that came out of the package with broken pieces.... see the "product replacement" part of this page

Unfortunately, WizKids uses a fairly brittle plastic. Its rigid, so it allows for better appearance of weapons, but it also breaks fairly easily. I could easily forsee the potential of getting damaged minis just from normal handling.
I just recently opened a case of LotR HeroClix. Only 2 were broken, however WizKid's product replacement webpage does not have a LotR option. Sadly they do not have a "customer service" e-mail, so I guess I'm going to have to e-mail another department and ask them to forward it to the appropriate person. (On a side note, I really dislike companies that do not have a "customer service" e-mail!)

Thank you for the link, hopefully it's not something I'll need to worry about.
I received my case today, just about to go bust it open. I did a search on google for a checklist (larger than the one on this product page) for the set, so I could mark off which minis I received, but couldn't find one anywhere. Kor - Orc Scrollkeeper, you have a great site showing off all the nice minis for the set, but I'm just looking for a text-only checklist. Guess I'll just print out the smaller one in the product description.

Here is my breakdown of my case. I did get a complete set, with no broken minis. They are a firmer resin than the D&D minis, so less pliable, and more prone to break if mishandled. They are also better painted than D&D minis, but you can tell they are mass produced.

Actually, that checklist looks just fine. I printed it out and will be using it when I receive my second case. Thanks.
I will post what minis I received and my impressions later on when I have more time. I will also post my minis in the “Pathfinder Battles Case Content Experience”, as well.

no, it actually just confirms what was found in the other thread, a rare large is slightly harder to get than a rare Med (the only Medium above 12 is the vamp, and only large less than 20 is the ogre)
Or the fact that the large pack sells for more than the medium pack raises the price on the larges, which seems just as likely.

Before buying from Paizo on singles check out the common Mini resellers, they are much cheaper.
