Female Changling(Hulking) Sorcerer - Orc Bloodline/5 - HP: 12/28; AC16,T14,FF13

I thought that was why you typed it twice.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

eitherway, I quite enjoy Ganit and all the characters to be honest. Very well made and loove how you are all working off each other's characters. Anyway i've posted as the boggard, sorry I didn't reply sooner, seemed the group was more talking to each other about what to do about him and the village rarther than speaking to him.

Well there's a lot to grumble about: judging others over their life choices, expecting the absolute worst case scenario of every situation, purposefully stomping on the heart of elves, walling up emotional responsibilities with physical duties, weather... I figured I'd put grumble down twice to cover my bases.

The group is prone to derailing and exploding with internal conflict. Prettymuch the worst government you can ask for but I guess that just keeps it realistic.

Please no politics if they don't relate to the fictional game we are playing.

Sorry to be that guy but I figure we argue about enough stuff we don't need to add the real word things in here too. ;)

No problem, now lets find something to fight, otherwise I am going to have to start testing my Spontaneous Immolation on party members, and I doubt any of you was to be the first test subject.

Male Human Bard 4

Damn, did I miss a politics discussion? That may be for the best, I probably wouldn't understand anything.

Haha truth. No worries, James.

It wasn't as much of a discussion as a was a couple of one-sided japes.

Nah it's fine, I don't think any of us want to start a flame war with other onlookers who may like/dislike our opinions on various political machinisations of different countries. I have seen such arguments derail a campaign and make players leave :p.

Also I agree with Ganit, it wasn't relaly a "discussion" but more of a few jabs at certain members.

Female Changling(Hulking) Sorcerer - Orc Bloodline/5 - HP: 12/28; AC16,T14,FF13

It started with someone making comments about a half-hag with temper control problems running a country, and went rapidly downhill from there.

Carina angrily looks around at who the comments were directed at so that she can teach the person a lesson.

lmfao. That reminds me I was looking through my PDF of Bastards and Bloodlines and found a race called Wretch.

It's a cross between a annis or green hag and a orc. Very creepy idea, reason why I love this PDF. Can throw anything at players that they won't expect.

Female Changling(Hulking) Sorcerer - Orc Bloodline/5 - HP: 12/28; AC16,T14,FF13

How many times to I have to tell you guys, Carina is sure that she is not an orc. She had perfectly normal human parents. Now she just needs to make PF reality conform with her stubborn beliefs.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

If she has a child it'd certainly cement it as the child will be human.

I'm Bronwyn and I approve this message.

Hey guys. I'm considering getting back into PbP, but I'm not sure if I will be able to devote the time I'd like too, but I'm also not sure how that meshes with the time everyone here puts in :).

Anyway, I was wondering how the campaign is going and if you guys have any interest in Cambyl coming back at some point :).

Female Changling(Hulking) Sorcerer - Orc Bloodline/5 - HP: 12/28; AC16,T14,FF13

Whats happening Cambyl. Still plodding along. Almost finished the first AP. Right now we are trying to figure out what to do with the dead unicorn. Then two hexes to map and AP 1 is done. Oh yeh, and I may be insane, but that is for everyone else to deal with.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

I'd personally be happy to have cambyl back with the group, unfortunately we're full at the moment. If anyone drops for any reason I'll give you a message though.

I wrote him and other previous players out of the campaign, stating that both Cambyl and Lukan were tracked down by family and had women who were intended to be their brides come for them. Armed escort and everything due to how turbulent things have gotten in brevoy the noble houses are trying to pull together, however I'm sure cambyl may run from his commitments and decide to rejoin the group, though that would be entirely up to you how he'd get out of it.

Group has nearly finished AP1 (on the adventure side) so next will be setting up their kingdom.

Female Changling(Hulking) Sorcerer - Orc Bloodline/5 - HP: 12/28; AC16,T14,FF13

Lol - Cambyl is a priest of Cayden, I do not think that commitment is very high on his list of priorities.

If I may: Super Genius Games - Two Options for the

Option 1: Allies and Associates would be a pretty valuable benefit for Bron and the rest of us provided it doesn't step on any Kingdom stuff I'm not familiar with. Just a little something to consider.

This. I have used it myself for Kingmaker and its working very nicely so far as I can't stand cohorts. I'm not normally much for 3rd party products but this was well worth the 2 dollars.

That said, you need to figure out how you want it to interact with crafting. Using my modified version, I have them crafting at 100% cost same as a PC would- but it gives you the flexibility of not relying on purely your magic item economy and saves people taking magic item crafting feats.

LOL, that sounds like Cambyl. Yeah, let me know if a spot opens up, If my schedule doesn't change I'll have some time :)

Good luck getting the kingdom set up everyone :).

Thanks Cambyl! It's good to hear from you, brother. I've got my fingers crossed for your schedule to keep steady.

Male Human Bard 4

We all miss you dude :)

Sadly with your departure I couldn't convince the others to make the kingdom a theocracy based around the beer god. Too bad.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

I'm sure jhod will push for Erastil being the major religion. Of course, he'd want that to be the major religion of the temple that is dedicated to Erastil if you build a town there.

Shame Ganit hasn't "seen the light" becasue that stag's helm would be just disgusting on him with his rogue levels mixed with ranger. Could probably kill three people at a time.

I think that option 1 is really neat. It's kinda like Mulder and The Lone Gunmen only TLG would occasionally leave their nest to help out. Maybe not "front-line" but still...

Sorry for the spotty responses, folks. I made the terrible mistake of going back to gym to try and lose some weight but must've forced myself too much and ended up all sore and hurt. Even to simply stay in the PC makes my wrists and arms hurt like hell.

Words to the wise: Just don't do it, it's not worth the effort.

Just as a heads up: I recently moved and I have no internet connection at my house. There's a chance I may be able to sneak in a post or two over the weekend but I probably won't have the ability to keep on a full conversation. Seeing as I'm (possibly) drifting towards those waters with Bronwyn I figured I'd give you all a rightful heads up.

The cable guy is scheduled for noon on Monday so this won't be a problem much longer. If your wondering: Yes, I'm posting from work. Typically chipping at at Word doc and pasting in here when my boss isn't around.

Just got my hands on paths of the prestiege. GReat fun and I'll allow it, as long as you state which path you might be take we can talk about if it's feesable.

To answer a question that might come from Bron, under the special requirements I'd say becoming a baron should qualify you for "Must have been granted noble rights" under the Noble Scion class.

Sorry I still havn't gotten back about the leadership feat. I'll take a look at the 3rd party source and give you my thoughts, thought I might just allow it to work normally for the hell of it, we'll see if I end up in a good mood or not tomorrow :p

Male Human Bard 4

Anyhow I was thinking a lot more along the lines of having a dependable cohort to handle things while I'm away or maybe craft some items in the meanwhile. Taking him/her along to fights was never my intention. But as I see things, we're gonna be running a country but we'll probably still "adventure" somewhat. It would be nice to have someone to maybe take over the position while Bron and Carina are away, etc.

Master of Gaming and Grognardia Current map

lol, funnily enough the Noble Scion class does give you the ability to have a cohort at your level and another cohort to stay back, with NPC levels who can spend his time crafting, lol. Plus I love the cheekyness of the class where you can demand free services because you're a noble.

Paths of the Prestige? Is there anything like the Order of the Bow Initiate in there? :)

Female Changling(Hulking) Sorcerer - Orc Bloodline/5 - HP: 12/28; AC16,T14,FF13

I just want an Orc Disciple like the Dragon Disciple. It seems like a class that would have a direct fit in this game - and would work great for me.

What's interesting is they're all prestiege classes of famed groups around golarian. The only groups I find with the use of a bow of any kind are:

Lantern Bearers: Brave elves (or half-elves) who go into the darklands to deal with their dark brothers and sisters as well as acting as escorts for those who wish to travel these dangerous places.

And that's it I'm afraid. As I said, most of them are based on other groups such as Blackfire Adepts and their enemies, the Riftwardens. Aspis Agent, Aldori Swordlord, Gray Gardener and my favourite one I like the look of, Hellknight Signifier. Though I admit I quite like the Blackfire Adepts and Riftwardens, though the requirement of "any good" for Riftwardens doesn't make sense as the campaign book does specify that "if anyone thinks they do this out of the kindness of their heart, they'd be deeply mistaken as other entities have their own motives for stopping the tears in dimensions."

Yeah I liked that book, but it did seem more useful as a DM tool than a player one. I would love for Jameson to turn into a Mammoth Rider but I can't figure out a way to make it work. :D

lol me neither. i've offered it to my homebrew group as if they wanted to become one of the many groups, I can always plan out how they run into a member of that group, get to learn from them and then maybe join up as quite a few groups require that you know a member or are initiated by one.
