2100/6 = 350g350g from the board quests we just completed. I'll put up the spoils when Oleg has the gold to buy them. If you look under the Loot spoiler in my profile you an get an idea of what we have to sell or divy up.
(Amount Owed) 484-350= 134g
Everyone add 70 gold to your inventory.
Total for everyone else so far is: 420 Gold
Tossing the cold iron hand axe into the pile for the cold iron longsword, increasing my debt by (rounding up) 5g.
More to come ;)
I owe 139g.
Ganit, we should split up the loot we found in the bag in the water. That was 178 gold total. 178/6 = 29 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Copper. (We'll give the leftover repeating 6 to Oleg =P)
Now I owe 110g
Everyone Else's Updated Gold: 455 Gold, 4 Silver, 6 Copper.
This is in addition to the 38.2g you gave to everyone on Wed in post 1064. So if anyone didn't already add that to their sheets then they should do so now. Thanks for going through all the trouble Lukan. I'll make the changes in my profile.
I have a feeling that we stand to make a great deal of gold when we sell everything off. For the sake of roleplaying, Cambyl will be taking his share so if it's alright with everyone else I'd like to gift Telias the +1 Hide armor.
I'm happy to put it up to vote if there are any objections.

I'd prefer not to gift items to players. The AP has been set up to the precise WBL. When we lose players, the wealth that player has gained should be provided the new player by the DM. He can easily purchase it from the party at 50% value with that wealth level.
Can we send Cambyl to Restov to sell all of our gear that we don't want? =)
EDIT: I am calculating we are at 785 gold Wealth (per person) right now without selling what we have in the group inventory. This can't be right... let me go back and double check. Ok, double checked. This isn't right. We just broke 1000 gold. Its hard to be precise without an audit, but I think Bronwyn might have the best estimate - I don't think he has bought anything.

Hrm. I can see why there might have been objections. I'll hold off on any opinions until it actually becomes somethign to worry about. As it is I don't expect Telias (neither does he for that matter) to get anything just for joining the group.
Also, AP's aren't quite precise in regards to the amount of cash to be had. The kingdom building rules alone can utterly annihilate this assumption. Other AP's are actually pretty stingy with the money available. And sometimes a good creative player can get beyond them. For example has anyone considered skinning any animals killed and keeping the hides? My impression of Oleg is that he does a lot of trading with hunters and trappers most of whom would bring him pelts for trade. Just something to think on.

I actually read an analysis of the kingmaker AP for WBL. It was with regards to allowing players to craft magic items. The final verdict was that the AP was uncanny in its accuracy. Not so sure about the conversion though. Maybe AK can elaborate if he stops by.
Plus Lukan aint no bleedin' heart so he isn't about to just give something away. =P

Either/Or. He would likely stand to make more gold by taking Cambyl's share anyway.

Well if Cambyl leaves the game, then that amount of wealth effectively leaves the game. A new character would have to bring that much wealth back into the game to balance it out. I suppose it really doesn't matter too much at this level, and Tark is quite right that we can earn money other ways beyond the limits of the AP, but that would always hinge on the GM.
I guess all we can do is wait for DM Aron to introduce him into the game after everything is finalized to sort it out... In the end we only help the group out if we help him out and bring him up to our wealth level. I was just being ornery ;)
By the way, Tark, you must sign this 50 page legal agreement about treasure sharing before you can join this group... in blood... during a full moon, after sacrificing a virgin and bathing in a fawns blood.

As for personal upkeep, Ganit will buy/sell the following:
Buy
Achemist's Fire - 20g
Cold Iron Arrows x20 - 2g
Cold Iron Battleaxe - 20g
Tanglefoot bag (x2)- 100g
Sell
Scimitar - 7.5g 15/2
Total: 134.5g
I've spent the majority of the game without any cash so I'll probably be stockpiling some alchemist goodies for a bit. At low levels these things are amazing.

The axes sell at Walmart for next to nothing. Also, the reason its so cheap compared to the rest is that it's not Mwk.

The whole Thawn thing was quite funny with him thinking it was a Fawn, lol.

Speaking of the brave knight. Anyone know where he has been? I'd think he would be most intrigued by the redemption of Kressel.

Haha and our party dynamic just got THAT much more disfunctional.
Remember, it was the archer (Burt Reynolds) in Deliverance who didn't get sodomized by the crazy mountain folk. I'm banking on this...

Sup guys!
Sorry about my lack of posting these last few days, I'm again at my final week of the semester in college and the closing week of a project I'm participating of in work. I believe that next week starting on wednesday I'll finally have some vacation time and will be able to post in a more regular fashion.
Meanwhile, would Aron mind if we retconned a couple conversations between Bron and the NPCs? I've been meaning to figure out what exactly happened while we were away, and these conversations would also help to explain my character absence from the introductions with Telias. I intend to talk to Kesten, Oleg and finally Kressel.
I'll wait for your answer, and if you feel like it, I can post the conversation in the IC thread using spoilers (or not).

I've no problem with is being in spoilers as I wouldn't want to mess with the group. Glad you're okey, I was worried something happened and hope you get that project out of the way and that it does well :)

It took a bit of digging but right when Jameson and Carina joined (also stemming from why they joined) our party came across some nice wands and a scroll. It was a scroll of shocking grasp, a wand of burning hands [CL 2, 4 charges] and a wand of grease [CL 1, 15 charges] (Source). I think these should be added to your sheet Carina.
Also in my little search I remembered that Cambyl was in charge of holding onto all or the party's healing potions (Source) and we definitely bought a CLW with 20 charges on it (Source). So that wand is yours Telias and if you want to hold on to the 3 CLW potions Cambyl had then go right ahead.
Carina Stigard |
Great work Ganit
Scroll of shocking grasp, Wand of burning hands [CL 2, 4 charges] and Wand of grease [CL 1, 15 charges] all added to my sheet. I think that the potions should be split up between Lukan, Sir Bron and James since they are most likely to need them and if Telias has them it is going to require at least 2 actions to use them, one for Telias to give them to the injured person and one for the injured person to use them.
Lukan Swane "Swaney" |
So... how's Skyrim going? I finally settled on a character. I've been playing a 1 hand sword wielding caster. I don't like the look of any of the armor, but the robes are just so slick looking - primary reason for being a half-mage. Kind of a Magus in pathfinder terms. He gets killed so much, but its fun =) I'm level 22. Was getting tired of the dungeons until I went into one that was mostly traps. That was exciting!
The Hermit Ganit D'Artain |
I've been playing a pretty badass rogue type. TWF with swords and an obscene sneak and lockpick. He's all light armor so he's a bit soft against crowds but he's a great duelist. I take down Blood Dragons in about 2-3 power attacks. I've been wanting to go pure caster though...
Lukan Swane "Swaney" |
TWF is god mode I hear ;). At least you didn't go the super cheese route and do TWF & heavy armor. I tried playing a sneaky archer type but gave up quickly on that. Everything just took TOO long. I prefer to run in and smash faces.
The Hermit Ganit D'Artain |
I keep thinking about making a new character cuz this one has just been a hodgepodge dabbler of this and that. I can never do heavy armor cuz it make you move too slowly, I'd rather just dodge an arrow than endure it. Sneaky characters are super fun if you're patient. I think my skill is at like 91-92 and I wear the armor you get at the end of the thieves guild missions so he's more/less undetectable. That plus the perk that give you x15 damage with dagger sneak attacks and a 90 in one hand makes for a pretty hardcore assassin.
Lukan Swane "Swaney" |
Sheesh. That sounds amazing. You should try the freedom of no armor. I can dodge most melee attacks - save those damn assassins, but they hit like wieners. I think my alteration is at 70 now, which is my highest skill. I've been jacking that up to get the most out of my armor spells and magic resistance. I use restoration and alteration spells to enhance my combat. It is a really nice combination. Alteration boosts my armor, and restoration keeps me healed up at the same time keeping my stamina maxed. I can power attack all day long. I think I am going to focus on enchanting soon.
DM Aron Marczylo |
I really should get this game sometime. Kept buying loads off steam lol. Will have to wait until after christmas and if I get some cash from a new job too.

Could be bad luck. Aferall with most poisons if you don't save you can be put in a bad position. Not to mention, you guys have been staying together and not seporating off so I wouldn't worry if I were in your position. :)

I like reading that thread. One group using my conversion had their barbarian general slain in a single bite (crit) by a modified creature. I won't reveal which one it was, but the group were so embaressed they claimed it was a dragon...
Lukan Swane "Swaney" |
Crits happen, and when they happen to the benefit of monsters, especially single monsters that are built to face a group of adventurers, they are deadly. It is truly more intense to be a level 1 or 2 adventurer and have the ever looming threat that a critical could wipe you off the face of Golarion. I just wish I had rolled higher on my last HP roll now :)
Lukan Swane "Swaney" |
Yup. I plan to, but someone said poison. Think I may wait for a saving throw.

Hullo, loves!
The most delicious (according to a poll among monstrous inhabitants of the Stolen Lands) pseudo-knight of the campaign is back!
It's a been a crazy couple of months, but I'm finally on vacation! Been catching up with my reading and video-games and hope to do the same with this game!
Sorry for the absence and I hope we can get things going for now! I'm sad that I couldn't properly introduce to Talias, hope we can find some time to get to know each other (and not in a biblical way, I hope).
