how big is the cave opening? if we get Janira to follow us in there, can the minotaur follow or would we be safe from it inside?

Scarab Sages

As can be seen on the map 5ft square..then it get's a bit wider..and then you'll end up in the cavern corridors you pasted through. So it will have to squeeze...but with some effort it can follow you inside

Squeeze (spoilered for length:
In some cases, you may have to squeeze into or through an area that isn't as wide as the space you take up. You can squeeze through or into a space that is at least half as wide as your normal space. Each move into or through a narrow space counts as if it were 2 squares, and while squeezed in a narrow space, you take a –4 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to AC.

When a Large creature (which normally takes up 4 squares) squeezes into a space that's 1 square wide, the creature's miniature figure occupies 2 squares, centered on the line between the 2 squares. For a bigger creature, center the creature likewise in the area it squeezes into.

A creature can squeeze past a creature while moving but it can't end its movement in an occupied square.

To squeeze through or into a space less than half your space's width, you must use the Escape Artist skill. You can't attack while using Escape Artist to squeeze through or into a narrow space, you take a –4 penalty to AC, and you lose any Dexterity bonus to AC.

Since Janira is stable there's no pressing need to stay in initiative all though you don't actually know she's stable and not still bleeding or dead until you examine her

Vohnkar was only down 8 after the potion so you can save that one charge for latter.

Thank you, friends. Vohnkar says gratefully as he stands back up. Using a piece of rawhide he crudely stitches up the large whole in his armor left by the Minotaur's ax. The he picks up said ax and uses it to remove the minotaur's horns. Sticking the ax and one of the horns in his back pack, the other he holds out offering it to the rest of the party.

Just so I know...where in the caves do you want to return? The area with the creatures the gillman didn't know about or the big cave with the gillman?

If a recall there was a fork in the road after the kobolds. We chose to help Janira. Let's return there maybe? Unless someone has another idea.

Scarab Sages

When you return through the tunnel you came from you arrive back at the cave where you fought the kobolds

Within the cavern, the dim light fades into darkness to the north and the south. The cavern stretches nearly 100 feet in each direction, but is otherwise unremarkable save for the inlet and outlet of the ancient river responsible for creating this chamber and most of the surrounding
tunnels over the centuries. The river through this part of the cavern ranges from 10 to 15 feet wide but is only 1 foot deep, and it flows languidly at an almost imperceptibly slow speed.

Nothing to see here, there's a tunnel to the east leading out the caverns to where you left Janira/fought the minotaur, the north and south that don't actually have any interesting in them..and the tunnel back to the big cave with the lake and the gillman, which has another exit towards a tunnel where the gillman saw some movement.

"Sounds good Jiro." Markas walks ahead of the group and leads the way back to the gillman.

Once we are there I say we continue down the tunnel we haven't explored

Scarab Sages

1d6 ⇒ 3

You make your way back through the main cavern and enter the next tunnel (The gillman doesn't notice you passing unless you try to get his attention - by some other means then using sound)

The cave’s damp air becomes increasingly stale as you continue down through this tunnel, and as you approach the stench of decay grows increasingly evident.
The passage turns to the east and opens into a small cavern littered with bits of broken glass, rotting pieces of paper, and other unusable detritus. The body of a male dhampir lies facedown toward the back of the cavern.

In the cavern are also 3 moving corpses who shamble towards you
