If I am able to use a huge sword one-handed, I think it will not be hard to do it two-handed. And in terms of balance, I don't see the problem since choosing between S&B & 2HF is something made by the overwhelming majority of melee warriors.

The Titan Mauler will need a bit or FAQ clarification or errata to become perfect, notably on the topic of weapon size and how you can manipulate them through your leveling. If you can only wield heavier weapons but always from a lighter category (going from 1-handed large bastard sword to colossal dagger ?), I don't see a lot of improvement in gaining levels.
Starbuck_II wrote:You can't use oversized 2 hander.
After all, the Falconer effectively gives up two class features for the removal of that penalty, and all the while they are forced into selecting a specific animal companion AND have to endure it having half hit points for four levels, which can get nasty.

Not to say that it isn't a good archetype, however. That's just one squishy bird that I personally wouldn't let anywhere near combat for four levels.
Kung-Fu Joe wrote:Quick question-- after perusing a buddy's copy of the book, I just realized that I don't remember seeing an effective druid level for the Falconer's Feathered Companion feature.
