My players have retrieved the Philosopher's Stone from the Council treasury in Walcourt and are considering using it to resurrect Donatalus Bisby. I like this idea, but haven't had much success thinking of cool ways that this might play out in the game, and what effect bringing Bisby back will have on the Drovenge siblings' endgame (if any). I'd like to reward them somehow from using the Philosopher's Stone this way.
Any suggestions? We haven't started the Twice-Damned Prince yet.

Maybe Donatalus B. could be of use as venture captain in Westcrown's new pathfinder lodge. Ailyn G. could pay a handsome reward, as D.B. would be a great source of information for her to close some gaps in the Cheliaxian succession war's history over there in Absalom.
Perhaps D.B. could tell the PCs of a hidden old (bardic) treasure chest of Ilnerik, as he was once a close friend to Ilnerik S.
Maybe he tells the PCs of the true fate of his former companion Ornato Geryis (WliD 40). What about some lore about insectology, resulting in a staff, some scrolls, wondrous figurine or other magical stuff (Advanced Player's Handbook, Ultimate Magic)?
He could probably create some soul dolls for the PCs. The dolls could function as inconspicious spies, errants, boon familiars/eidolons/companions.
Or he can show the PCs some hidden old tome of Aroden and his former divine magic that survived the book burnings at Citadel Rivad (introducing some third party spells, feats, strange ioun stones etc.).
