Sovereign Court

can you make it 2 weapons for heirloom weapon (i.e. you want to have a character weild 2 bastard swords)

or would you have to buy a bastard sword and make it mastercrafted to give it the same +'s

You can't take multiple traits from the same category, so you can't take the same trait twice. Also, the +1 trait bonus would only apply to the actual heirloom weapon even if you did carry and wield 2 bastard swords at the same time. Note: you would still need to spend a feat for Bastard Sword proficiency if you wanted to wave two around.

And wielding two bastard swords would likewise add on a lot of two-handed fighting penalties, more than the -2/-2 with a proper one-hand/light weapon combo.

could i use this Trait to Gain the Ability to use Kukirs as a Rogue instead of taking a level of Fighter or using a feat slot?

Wow, significant thread necro.

If you take this trait, you are proficient with just that one kukri you get from the trait. Not all kukris-just the actual heirloom. Your class is not relevant for that part. If you find another kukri in some great treasure horde, you wouldn't be proficient with it.

For the initial 2011 question: Maybe Butterfly Swords would work as you get them in pairs. No Bastard sword or Kukri, but it might be something going for them.

Now, if your heirloom weapon were a double-bladed sword or a kusarigama, then things might get more interesting. (Although you're still in TWF territory, of course.) And BEWARE OF SUNDER.
