Pathfinder Society Grand Lodge
Hello all,
Wed. July 13th at 6:30 pm, we’ll be having a character creation + meet and greet. The current plan is to hold open sessions on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, and if there is interest, we may also do Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings as well. There is an admission fee of $5 on nights that we play scenarios - This will go towards new scenarios/modules, new books, miniatures, dice, or other needs for the group. Because we have no idea what to expect, we’d greatly appreciate contact with us if you’re interested in joining. We’re trying to determine how many sessions and tables are going to be needed/available, so we have enough space for everyone interested in playing. Store email: info@aboveboardgames.net
We also intend to regularly update our Pathfinder Society Fort Mill Facebook page with scenarios we'll be running and etc. Above Board Games is located at 985 Market Street, Suite 103, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
Thanks, and we look forward to meeting some new Pathfinders!
I may have some comped hotel rooms for ConCarolinas. If you are interested in going drop me a line and I will let you know as soon as I get confirmation o nthe rooms. I am going to put 4 to a room so you will get 1/4 or the room. There are two beds so you may need to bring an air matress. I have a couple I can bring as well if you don't have one.
I do have two hotel rooms available. There is actually NOT a lot of room for GMs left at this event, which I can tell you is very unusual! We have 35 tables of PFS and are running all of Season 3. Tier 1 GM - Get your scenarios at no cost to you and a chance to win a cool GM boon and other prizes, run 1 or 2 scenarios. Tier 2 GM - Attend the convention free of charge and get your scenarios at no cost to you and a chance to win a cool GM boon and other prizes, you need to run 3 or 4 scenarios. Tier 3 GM - Attend the convention free of charge and get your scenarios at no cost to you and guarantee a cool GM boon and a chance to win other prizes, and get 1/4 of a hotel room as well as dinner Saturday night you need to run 5 or more scenarios. If you have any questions please contact me.
@BlackWyvern: Glad you could come out and had fun! I had to knock some rust off, but it was nice to run a game again. Hopefully we can get past the current lull we're in, and if there's enough interest we'll go back to more frequent game sessions. Keep an eye out on the Facebook page for when we set up our next PFS Saturday in April (more than likely it'll be towards the end of the month).

I wish I could go this event. All three of those are fun scenarios. Let me know when the next one will be in May and I will try to come up and run the new special scenario for you #EX03 - The Cyphermage Dilemma. I have one event to go to in May for certain but am available the rest of the month. If you guys are planning out your calendar and would like to have some more GMs I can carpool several with me from the SCARAB Swarm. I would be happy to come up and run all day for you guys. Jan 18-21, 2013 SCARAB Gaming Convention Columbia, SC 100 Tables

#EX03 sounds really cool, thanks for offering to run it! We won't know our schedule for next month until the store has all of it's card tourney's planned out, but we try to aim for a Saturday near the end of the month to hold our events. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we set a date for May. We currently only manage to have one full table on most event days, sometimes we have enough players to split into two smaller tables (occasionally two full tables). Our player-base fluctuates a lot, but we've never needed more than two tables. We'll definitely keep you and the swarm in mind for the future, when things start picking up.
We can try to hype up the event for May, just to see what kind of "advanced" turn out we may get. Some of our newer players do have friends/cohorts that play Pathfinder. Not to mention the semester should be wrapping up at that time for some of the local college students that play. Or crazy thought, if you guys are able to come up, Cat or myself could actually play in a scenario we aren't running to round out a third or fourth table. Yes I am that shameless to bring it up, mostly because I don't remember the last time I played a scenario.
SWEET! The swarm can usually bring half a dozen players as well as a few GMs and that usually helps make tables and gives people more opportunity to not only play but to maybe play an alternate character they have been Jones-ing to test out or a high level character if they have one, etc. Happy to help out.

I hope to get ramped up and be able to switch out with you guys DMing so everybody gets into the rotation with a PC that wants a chance. Looking forward to the April Event Day, so you can go ahead an put me down for a spot.

I'll keep a watch for your next event. I would have loved to come down but already had that weekend planned out. I've got some buds down in Colmbia that I played 3.5 with that might like to get in on the action as well.
Dear All, I know it's a bit of a hike for you, but your PFS brethren up the mountain will be holding the first GeekOut convention on May 12, 2012. Mark your calendars now....Asheville PFS will be in attendance en masse and we can cross-pollinate our groups! (Not really, but you know what I mean) Check out more here! -Dink
Thanks to all you guys that could make it out. Didn't have the turn out we were expecting, but still lots of fun for those of us that were there! I've always wanted to be a 'reckless vigilante', and it was on my Shadow Lodge gunslinger no less. @dinketry: Thanks for the invite, but unfortunately I know some of us won't be able to make it. In fact, May 12th is likely the weekend we'll have our next Society day. Our local shop is really busy in May with different tournaments and it looks like that may be the only open weekend. We'll post something soon confirming whether we're running on the 12th or not.

@Dread:
As an aside, for you guys in the Charlotte Role Players Meet Up, do any of you run any society scenarios or just home games? Cat and myself would be happy to get you guys started if you've got a willing GM and group that can meet.
ABG PFS May Event Day 2012
All day Event!
Unlike our previous events, seating is very limited as we will only be running one table of this module. Please contact us directly if you will be attending. The module will run all day, with a break in between (as usual). We're hoping to have it completed by the end of the allotted time, but if we do not finish, we will schedule the remainder of the module as part of our June Event. No biggee. I do understand. For the main group I get together with, we are playing with we are doing Carrion Crown and are in the 4th module now. A couple of the guys, I think, meet with you guys for the PFS games there. Bryan? and Dave? i think.
As an extra note, I would like to point out that Feast of Ravenmoor is a level 2 to 4 adventure. That should cover everyone that has been able to join us on our Saturday events. @Del - We'll have to check out those modules as well. I think I was glancing over Masks of the Living God the other day. @Dread - Yeah, Bryan has been able to join us. We usually count him as one of our regulars for the Saturday events. Like I mentioned, if you guys ever feel like a break from your usual stuff and want to try out Society scenarios, let Cat and myself know so we can help set you guys up. I'm sure Bryan can cover the specifics for character creation with you guys, as well as the different factions.
BlackWyvern wrote: "Wait, what's in the sausage ...?" A special blend of country herbs and stirges, ahem, spices. Yeah spices... Glad you enjoyed it. There were some rather comical moments in the RP parts for me. Having run it once now, I think I can improve/streamline if I run it again. We got a little pressed for time towards the end, but the enlarged two-handed weapon fighter removed what little concern I had for you guys and sped combat up in the end. Stupid clerics working with stupid fighters.....

Wow! Great PFS session this weekend at Above Board Games! Glad to see so many people come out for the event. Thanks to Del for coming and running The Cyphermage Dilemma for us and thanks to Cat and Tigersage for running the other sessions. Hope to see everybody back at the next PFS event at ABG hopefully in August.
Thanks Cat we had a ton of fun and are looking forward to the next one. It was cool to see old friends, make new friends and see brand new PFS players all in one day! Had a Blast! Make sure the ABG staff know how much I appreciate them letting PFS have space and time there. Really a great location, like it much better than the old spot.

Delbert Collins II wrote: I have received a request for a seat for the Shades of Ice Series. Please pencil in "Devon" for both of those tables. I have received several 'pokes' regarding this event. It would be really cool to fill all six tables. Oooh that's me! I actually found the event on the events page and just saw this post come up. I'm looking forward to being there.
