Someone at our lodge has profession: Psychiatrist. He has sessions with his team mates after every mission
Sounds like a melee specialist I have in a different (Star Wars) campaign. Not only is he a medical doctor, he's also board-certified in mental health care.
Was quite the hoot when the GM said something along the lines of "You'd need someone who was both a Doctor AND a Psychiatrist to help wean this person off the intense addiction he's been exposed to. And a Light Side Force user."
I had raised my hand at the first part, and kept it up for the second, and started to lower it when the Jedi at the table raised her hand.
GM: "I hate you guys."

Barrister is very popular among my pathfinders, though my -1 in Society play actually *did* start as an Engineer(Sanitation). His backstory was that he'd 'accidentally' caused a sewer to back up into a particularly unloved Chelaxian nobleperson's house, and was put into slavery as punishment before being freed by Andoran/Liberty's Edge.

I just want Profession(merchant) to let me use my Charisma bonus instead of my Wisdom penalty. Apparently my Exchange character uses Perform(oratory) to win deals for other Exchange Pathfinders as his Day Job, since I can't use Bluff or Diplomacy as a Day Job skill :P
If you get the caravan vanity you can use diplomacy for a dayjob

In Wrath of the Righteous, I played a cleric of Irori with Profession: Librarian. She took Skill Focus and Mythic Skill Focus in it, and I think by the end her bonus was up to +40 and was able to take 20 at it anytime she used it by spending a mythic point. She took the Divine Path thing so that she in the epilogue was the demigod of Librarians. One of my favorite characters ever.

So many barristers in the society...
I am saying that the Pathfinder Society is full of people who are trained in twisting the law for their own (and the Society's) benefit.

In fact, my 21st-level elf enchantress has a few ranks in it...along with Profession (courtesan)--go figure.
Kahel is actually a Profession: Librarian of the dark archive. I figure she doesn't actually do work that isn't for the pathfinders. Her normal job is as an archivist, but they occasionally send her out into the field. Especially after her elemental powers got discovered.
