12th level Question

Pathfinder Society

Grand Lodge 2/5

I currently have 2 characters who have attained 12 level. The first is playing the high level arc.

Eric has stated there is not another high level arc in the works

Can I use my second 12th level character to play

Pathfinder Module: Academy of Secrets and Pathfinder Module: Tomb of the Iron Medusa?

GM the level 12 arc, and use the GM credits for the seocond PC

No.

Tier 12 retirement arc.

12th level characters can legaly play PFS legal modules, but for reasons of scenario balance this cannot be done until a retirement arc has been completed.

I like this idea, I have been thinking lately that I will have characters retiring a lot faster than they are producing retirement arcs. Not a big deal as some of my characters don't really need the extra stuff, but it is a curious situation.

There is not enough 12th lv players to run for. One of the other players who played with me is running the remaining eligible players in the area through the high level arc :-(

Play through the one your buddy is GMing a second time, and dont spoil the fun for the other players who havent played through it.

Obviously you dont have to play through one, since the character is now retired, and it doesnt really matter cause it cant be put through any more actual mods and such, so if the non-repeaters dont mind, just do it.

That wouldn't solve his problem. He's trying to get credit for having played the arc for a second PC so that PC can play additional over 12 modules. You can only get credit for playing once and credit for GM'ing once, so replaying wouldn't resolve the issue of how to get chronicles for his second character for the arc.

And at this point, what impact would that have at all? None. Why, cause 12 is the limit, and they have no current intentions of moving the limit any higher, so who cares if he gets legit credit or not?

Replay, get a fake chronicle, get your fake gear with the fake money you get from the fake chronicle, and be happy. Then, if they do raise the limit, or another level 12 arc comes out, just toss the fake stuff and play the new one for real chronicles.

Well, I could be wrong, but I believe that the OP asked the question because he does, in fact, care whether he's cheating or not and wants to find a way to legitimately play his retired 12th level characters in the modules that are offered beyond the 12th level retirement arc he's already played. (of which there are currently two--a 14th level and a 13th level)

Except that's not exactly true since Erik Mona stated on the other 12th-level thread that they are looking at high level play options above 12th-level.

Yea, I found it. Thanks for the link anyway, Thea.

So, yea, for the long haul he probably shouldnt. However, the offical stance had always been (up til the day before I posted aparently) that we are going to stay with the level 12 cap. So sorry for missing that.
