Please lock this thread too, so we don't have smart asses commenting on how the flag option is a better way of drawing attention to off-topic threads.

I'm only bringing up flagging as a way to get onto TOZ's smart ass list.

I just flag everything ToZ says just in case he's being offensive.

That's...probably a good policy.

Hi guys, what about the Cleric heavy armor proficiency?

Yeah but free weapon proficiency!

There's some really good info on the katana here.

Andoran

This info is even more pertinent to the debate, honestly.

Andoran RPG Superstar 2008 Top 32, 2011 Top 16

Does all of this flaggin translate to something in Semaphor?

It's a katana thread.
That's what you get when you talk about katanas.

Kah Tah Nas

Or

Kah Tan Ahs

???

Crimson Jester wrote:

Neither. The correct pluralization of katana is katana. If you're saying "katanas" you should go buy a civic and put a "Type R" sticker in it, I hear that's all the rage these days.

If they call hot dogs hotu dogu,
I can call katana katanas.

Whoa... just found another thread which is getting way off topic, better lock it too!

Linkified.

Seems like Katana threads just naturally drift off topic.

Is there any way you could pre-emptively lock any threads that point to this one or to the thread that this one points to?

Spoiler:
In fact, you should probably pre-emptively lock all threads that mention katana.

Hey, I invited him to my wedding. Got a real nice letter from him.

???

It seems to me a standard Katana thread.

More polite than usual and with less trolling maybe.

It's not clear, are you talking about this thread or the original? ToZ has posted in both so it's hard to say 'less trolling'.

Successful Troll appreciates your kind words.

Andoran

Locking threads is a crime against the people ! Let's all rebel and free the locked threads in a frenzy of freedom and bloodlust.

Threads must not be locked and traitors must be executed.

Buy our Galtian lottery tickets and find out who is traitor next !

Oh no it was a typo.
He meant it had Les Strolling.
Les is his friend, see, and....

When was the thread relevant?

I don't think the thread was ever relevant which is part of what confused me, but his post wasn't Relevant either which really mixed me up.

Yes, but does a green witch burn as well as a dried out one?

Yes, but does a green witch burn as well as a dried out one?

Depends on your definition.

Ferexample: Some people like a slow, smoky burn. Others prefer a torrential conflagration.

I think they should sticky it, not lock it, because it is a repository of important information.

In fact, they should carve it onto Mount Rushmore, right on Teddy Roosevelt's forehead, on the off chance that something happens to our civilization, so it can be easily found by survivors in the future so they can share in this vital information and rebuild civilization.

::Waves around geiger counter.::

As you can see this irony has almost reached critical mass. Any more and we're going to have to establish a 12 mile exclusion zone.

God help us if it goes critical.
