So going over the latest (April) Guide, a friend just happened to notice this rule:
Additionally, any magic items that have usage frequencies above 1/day (such as 1/week or 1/month and so on) are now considered to have the frequency of 1/scenario.
The reason this is of concern is because we each own an Ebony Fly Figurine...something that we purchased originally because of the wonderful utility it allowed with a 3/day usage...but in all honesty now we can only use it 1 per scenario?
How does this rule make sense when many scenarios actually last over multiple days?
And is there any chance this is something that is getting reviewed for the next update?

"above 1/day (such as 1/week or 1/month and so on)"
So 3/day is not above but below...

Ahh, but Ebony Flies are actually 3/week, with the option of using them 3 times in a single day.
So where does 3/week fall? Is that above 1/day or below?
How about a 4/month elephant?

For the Fly, or other figurines, it is simple. The Fly can be used a max of three times before it has to recharge. Once you have used it for that third time it is done for the rest of the scenario and you cannot use it again til the next scenario because the recharge time is greater than one day, even if the scenario you are in lasts longer than the time normally needed for recharge.

Yeah, but we're also thinking on the same path for Bronze Griffons for medium characters.
All animals require a saddle to ride if you want to avoid the -5 penalty to Ride checks. Griffons just require an exotic saddle (not a regular one).

Riding a griffon requires an exotic saddle.
A hippogriff saddle must be specially crafted so as to not impact the movement of the creature’s wings—these saddles are always exotic saddles.
I read the Griffon's entry to state that because of it's shape, it can't be ridden without an exotic saddle. The Hippogriff reads more like, "if you use a saddle, it needs to be an exotic saddle."
