Okay I looked at this and had to basically start laughing intensely.

*Karlan going through the woods*

"G~%@~%n harry hiding bodies in the woods so I have to find them to make sure they didn't rise as undead or something, why are there so many trees here I'll smite all you bastards with my boot."

"Hey who are those guys up there. Can you guys help me I'm a bit lost and I seem to have lost my shield."

"Why are you winding up that crossbow?"

"Okay, who the hell are you guys and why were you talking about shooting me just now?"

*detects evil on the bald guy*

"Pushing me over was kind of a jerk move pal."

"SWEET INHERITOR! That wasn't funny. That nearly hit me in the face! I mean really all I'm after here is some directions"

I like the fact that it ends with a dude getting shanked in the nuts.

Male Orc Expert 5

I do find the whole thing sort of funny.

I'm trying to imagine the average grunt pulling an armored fellow down and pulling off his visor to see if he's a man at arms or a noble. But probably not even knowing who he is and half pissing his pants because the armored man's mates are rushing across the battlefield after him. I imagine it had a whole lot less "who is this guy" and more like "f#$~! f!+%! draw my dagger! Shank his nuts! Codpiece! Stab his eyes! Stab his eyes! God why is he still screaming! Stab him again! I really don't want to be here!"

VC - Sydney, Australia

I reckon that people being captured would more likely be the result of a deliberate effort on behalf of a few canny fellows and orchestrated through their thugs. Some savvy operator picks Mr Knight as being Sir Fancypants of Walmart and words up his cronies to rush the guy and pull him down, take him alive for a bit of a payday.

Male Orc Expert 5

That would make more sense to me. HAve five guys drag him off his horse and off the field before anyone was the wiser. Bonus to the large burly fellows willing to lay hands on a highly trained, well fed, and very angry blue blood.

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

Well, important nobles were clever enough to wear platemails that were so adorned that they were recognised as what they were :)

Well, if you wanted to stand out, you just needed a big suit of armor like this guy.

Armor at Burg Cochem

The suit on the left is a normal suit of armor, probably for someone like 5'6" (~167cm). The tall suit as I recall was worn by some Austrian knight and he would have been close to 8' tall. Now that would have been something to see on the battlefield.

Meowzebub is ok, just going through some personal and work related stress.

Nice find, will be circulating that gem!

I dislike War Priest being written as a single word for the new class. I keep reading it as Warpy-est, lol. I am pretty sure it is violating the rules of English grammar in some fashion.

Shhh...don't say that aloud - do you really want to add a whole new layer of rules-lawyering to the game ????

I got my grades in today and got an 'A' in both of my last classes. Now to find a job in an economy where everyone is looking for a job. Yay life!

And those with jobs are looking for new or more jobs because those jobs don't pay enough to live off of. Hurray trickle down economics!

Male Orc Expert 5

By the way: I worked on this.

For those interested in such things. I did the races section and a bit of work on the monsters specifically.

Sadly my name is not on the credits because the work was so long ago I was sort of forgotten. I reminded the owner though and that will look to be corrected.

So yeah I'm about to have my name in the credits next to Richard Pett and Owen "motherf*%&ing K.C. Stevens.

And all I had to do was genocide several races and turn humans towards their very worst aspects. :)

Hi Folks, Please be patience in HOL as Paizo tries to turn Solaric into a messageboard alias instead of my messageboard avatar. I am not sure how they will make it work. I have been trying to fix this problem for years (ever since I created my account). This is the closest we have ever gotten.

Bah - Tirion will always be Tirion. Some of us are not embarrassed by our old lives.

Venture Captain since December 2014

It actually all started because I've started getting GM credit for running Pathfinder Sessions. I did not want them going to Solaric, but instead to GM Harpwizard. There solutions was to merge the accounts. So far it has not worked yet.

20. Thanks guys. I would like to assume the assist other put in play made it work! Hahaha. Good thing the sales field is all about making people do what you want and not always what they should. Managed to get the second interview there and then and a job offer before it was all said and done. Good thing I am more like a bard in real life. ;)

Venture Captain since December 2014

Well folks, Paizo cannot change Solaric's old posts into Solaric. They are to remain as GM Harpwizard from now on. However, I have created a new messageboard avatar to use in HOL from now on.

Um . . . er . . . I cannot even think of a comment for that one. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, I do not think there are any Canucks on this thread.

After much confusion and back and forth, it was decided we'll go with Pathfinder rules.

So I got fancy and decided to run a PFS game day, 'PFS Pirates by the Sea' and hold it in a park adjacent Sydney Harbour (as in reach down and touch the water) because the views are spectacular and there are BBQ facilities. This spot

Because the adventures are 'pirate themed' and most of the action takes place on board ships and boats, I got it into my head to build them all in 25mm scale. Five ships. I am beginning to regret this display of initiative. I'm thinking I will cheat up the maps by pinning a blue sheet over the table for the ocean.

Why must I always do things to the maxtreme...?

I only comfort myself that it isn't Skull and Shackles.

Indeed... as if it was you'd have to bring drug laced rum (as per rations per day)...
