Was wondering the same thing. Many of our regular posters seem to be real quiet. I think that Shifty and Mark might be on vacation, or were. Also, DMZZ has been quiet recently, RL probably interfering with gaming.
Was on vacation - have been back for a week and a half now though.
I don't tend to post much here anyway. And, well, the games have slowed to an absolute crawl with Zyren handling work and love ssues so I've been just focusing on other things like running my games, focusing on my others and considering running a high level mythic/gestalt/time lost characters game.
I've never used the tarrasque and co. I want to.
I've never been a big campfire attendant. I'm only in 1 of Z's games, so I'm kind of the outsider :-)
yah I really haven't been much of a campfire poster either. I guess I meant the campfire games. Although the lag has affected games across the board. I've had 3 games draw to a close due to inactivity in the last couple of weeks.
Yeah its pretty quiet, and all my characters either have actions pending, or are waiting for an activity to resolve before they can be 'progressed' - so once we get some tangibles to hang on I can jump in more :)
That also said it is quiet, I started two PFS PBP's and they are mixed, with one going well the other crawling.
I'm always lurking....but yeah, in general most of my games are slowing down, with the exception of two.

I'd be up for that for sh1ts and giggles. I sounded out interest for a CR25+ arena a wee while back but didn't get any real bites.

Have a fifth on the fourth
So I had a near death experience involving my family, the car, and airborne acrobatics. I'm alive, but not well, so it may be a day or two before I can post regularly. I'll give more details later. Car crushed on one side. Which happened to coincide with the side I was on.

The car I was in. The front door is open because I opened it. This thing flipped twice after the blown tire and landed on top of the guard rail.
Another view. I'm around 6'6" (I don't know how that translates for europeans) so naturally I got smushed. With cuts along the top of my head and a concussion to match. My left elbow is badly bruised and a left clavical is fractured. All this along wiht little cuts everywhere like a deep one on my thumb and another in the ball of my right hand.
This picture gives a good idea of distance. Not that we could tell inside the car but apparently we turned 180 degrees in the middle of the road when we careened off and flipped twice over the grass before the guard rail caught us.
In the end my fiance walked out wiht some nasty bruises and lots of complaints about the hospital staff and my daughter got away without a scratch whereas I may have to replace this pair of blue jeans such as they are covered in dried blood.
The only reason I'm posting this I think, is because given how sudden, how fast, and you can tell by the pics how destructive, it all turned out I guess I'm simply amazed to still be alive. Sore, hurt, shaken, and going to have to worry about replacing the undoubtedly totaled care, but alive.

I've never experienced it, but from what I understand a fractured clavical is debilitating. You have my sympathies, and I hope you can sleep (I had a bruised clavical 4 weeks ago that I'm *just now* able to sleep on). I'm guessing that you'll be sleeping in a recliner?

Wow. Frightening to be thus reminded of mortality. But, hey, look on the bright side--at least you don't have to replace your jeans because of a code brown/yellow!
Holy crap, man. Take all the time you need. I'm so glad it wasn't worse, but it still sounds like it was pretty bad.

I spoke to ZZ, he said not to worry guys. He thought that he had left a message more recently but it must have slipped his mind. He's swamped with school stuff at the moment, but will try to post a message tomorrow.

Bah, stupid me...thought I left a message that I had to go into hibernation mode for a while...with lots of new thing happening in rl I'm just unable to post anything imaginative...guess I'll have to wait for the dust to settle. But no worries, neither happened anything as terrible to me as to Tark (wow man) nor did I forget you. Somehow I thought I had written a similar text before but ...yeah well, obviously not -_-
Hopefully no one is too saddned about the hibernation, I'll surely check back with new ideas and more logs for the campfire :D

one of my son's friends created the clan. Someone then opened it, and we've had a number of jokers join us (I *hate* dead weight...) I'm going to start keeping track of who doesn't bother to attack during clan wars, and show 'em the door.
i'll check you guys out too. :-) My son is our heavy hitter, he's a coupe days away from a lvl 8 town hall, and he's got dragons. I'm at 7, will get to 8 reasonably soon, and will also have dragons reasonably soon. I'm curently the only one in our clan with a barbarian king, yo! (I knew I was saving all my gems for SOMEthing good)
Haha! I know the feeling of the Clan wars dead weight. Its one of the reasons I was hoping to add some active members. Flat out annoying. We lost one war by one star I think and several people didnt make any or all of their attacks.
I just looked you up. Man, you must farm like the dickens to have afforded those walls bro! I like your setup--it must be real hard for folks to use healers on you, the way you've got your air defenses set. I will consider copying you, even though I like my current setup...
We just SQUEAKED out a victory by 2 stars in the last war. The other team had come on strong early, but petered out at the end. We had some bad attacks ealry too, so no one thought we'd win. I'm going to throw together an .xls to keep track of who's not pulling their weight. I think 2 wars with 0 attacks is reasonable to feel my boot, don't you agree??
