I'll enjoy it more when I get my stupid wizard done and throw him in the mix. It's funny, we have a bunch of characters from poor backgrounds or from areas where they didn't need gold. My character was born an Ardoc and has lived in Bis his entire life. And while he didn't grow up 'exactly' the way his father wanted him to, chests full of gold are nothing new to him. God I can't wait.
PS: No he wont be a rich snob. Just used to seeing stupid amounts of money.
Afternoon everyone :) I trust everyone has had a fantabulous day, and if not, I hope that my silly use of the bs made up hybrid word fantabulous at least brought a smile to your face. Though for some of you, I have a feeling you narrowed your eyes at the word and for just a moment (I pray no longer) wanted to stab me in the eye with a dictionary for using said word :) Either way, my work here is done.
Glad I could make you smile, feytharn :) I'm so super excited, my laptop arrived today. I wasn't expecting it for a few more days. Now the tedious job of transferring my stuff. Classes start Monday.
This new one has Windows 7 the old one has Vista. I need to transfer everything to my external anyways because I am going to sell the old one on craigslist. I don't want to transfer everything to the new laptop, some of it will stay on the external. Plus, I need to clean it all up pretty badly. Get rid of duplicate files, corrupted files and scan for viruses etc. before putting any of it on the new laptop. Though I suppose I could get stuff over to the new one a lot quicker that way.
Don't worry love, I intend to do a complete system restore on it before I place it on craigslist. I'm going to allow my brother to use it for a couple of months first. He just started going back to college and won't get his loans to get a new laptop until October and my old one is way better than his current one.
I just ran across these Social Traits in the PDR and I was wondering what you would have me do to add this to Bree's sheet:
PDR Advanced Players Guide wrote:
Child of the Streets: You grew up on the streets of a large city, and as a result you have developed a knack for picking pockets and hiding small objects on your person. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Sleight of Hand checks, and Sleight of Hand is always a class skill for you
You're telling me Shifty... just updated my own pledge and between the base level, two paint sets, case and a modest addition of the extra options... and I'm pushing $300
All players from HoJ: I would love to join your ongoing campaign, if you don't mind.
ZZ: Provided they don't mind, just give me the rules for character creation, I will hurry tor read up (I will just start at page 21, it seems the current adventure starts there) and post a character, then wait for you to put him in harms...ahm in the adventures way.
I will roll now, but I doubt I have my character ready untill wednesday, possibly thursday.
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 6) = 16 - 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 5) = 18 - 16
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2, 2) = 9 - 7
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 1, 5) = 11 - 10
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 1) = 8 - 7
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 1, 3) = 13 - 12
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 5, 5) = 15 - 14
If by the sum of all rolls you mean before kicking out the lowest dice and roll, I have a character (well, stats anyway), if you mean after kicking out the lowest dice and roll, I haven't.
And the main population of students shouldn't even be there, yet...
But I feel you pain...nighshift after a hot summer weekend like this, with twoSchützenfeste and a Assumption of Maryfairinmy hometown (don't get me wrong, as a pagan I quite enjoy a fair dedicated to this Madonna - and yes, she did become black by accident a few years back - but the fallout of the fair is less than cool...and the 'great' night was enhanced by a painfully loud (and painfully simple) leftover communist from the original post war KPD era staying almost three hours telling me about Mao, Castro and the RAF, erratically changing betwee contempt for modern politics, enthusiasm for the pirate party, adoration for his communist idols and musings about their use of violence for social changes and his pacifist mindset.
First day of classes and I already have a headache and want the semester to be over :P On the plus side, the wee one is back in school too. 4 whole hours to myself each day!
Bleh, it's been so bloody humid in Heidelberg, Germany the past few days. Humid enough that even with AC paper still sticks to my skin. And it didn't help that Sunday was 40 Celsius (over 100 fahrenheit for the americans). Go away already summer!
Tomorrow I have another day with my hard-to-please Chinese contingent again so my posts might be a bit dicey. They are somewhat intensive. So far I am the only person that has had any joy with them... they obviously don't 'do' humour :p
@ ZZ: It needs to rain though. NOW! Get the stupid moisture out of the clouds so I don't have to walk around my apartment in my underwear and still be sweating like a pig!
