Sorry about missing posting for a day or two; was at a Pathfinder Society con yesterday, and wrapping work stuff before the Easter break.
The sessions run 9am - Midnight for four days... one day was enough for me though (but I might sneak another session in) as the 12pm odd finish precluded me posting.
Pro-Tip: Edge of Heaven modules are horribly broken, all main fights ended with 1 PC still in play and horribly injured; I haven't seen skin-of-teeth fights like that for a while, and we pulled every cheeze imaginable. The encounters are a (bad) joke.

Yeah I saw that things were progressing nicely!
Celestra isn't finished being freaked out I am guessing, as things are about to go horribly for that Magistrate.
Was very surprised about the Div; anything throwing around sandstorms and zapping people with mojo eyeballs must be well above our pay scale, or perhaps I'm just a little bit L1 fragile :P Might feel a bit braver with an extra level of buff on.

Would like to know before I spend any money on grabbing emergency tossables for when I'm out of bombs.

That depends. Do you want to murder dudes or be in a murder play?
I have a Council of Thieves game and an assassin golarion game in need of a player and the recruitment pickings have been slim.
Bilbo - you would fit into both of Tark's games. Most of the players in both are complete freaks. So, pretty much anything you want would be good. In the Assassins we would be best with someone of the melee/skill mindset over a caster, but really anything would work.

Yup - CoT is third - they are just starting the second AP. You will have to ask Tark what they need. I think that Mark Sweetman is in that campaign. I am in the other CoT that Tark is leading.
Look at the Assassins campaign, first of all you get to be evil, always a good thing. Also, we could use another regular poster.

That is why I tried it. Been a bumpy road so far, but I think we are working things out. It has been very interesting seeing how each player plays an evil character. We started with two non-combatant oracles - always a strange combo. One went missing. We have a witch, an alchemist, a ranger and an oracle right now. So pretty much we have everything covered, but nothing covered well.

I can't see how an evil campaign would be particularly . . . satisfying. For one thing, evil is necessarily greedy and self-serving, so how can teh group have any real cohesion?
seondly, I'd much prefer to have my heroic fantasy be, well, heroic. Not villanous.
but maybe that's just me. :-) I'm kinda old-school and provincial that way, I guess.

Well I think it is entirely possible to be greedy and self-serving AND serve the greater good at the same time.
Even the dumbest bad guy can work out that he can leech more off a healthy and robust society than trying to live off the fat of a dirt poor village, so it is in his best interests to help them grow and become prosperous.
For anyone wondering how this plays out long term, I would immediately imlpore them to watch Deadwood and the machinations of Al Swearengen, he is the absolute epitome of BBEG (in fact best bad guy in film imo), but at the same time does everything to protect the town and make it prosper, though completely serving his own interests.

My view is that unless you are evil and really stupid, one realizes that there is power in numbers. Yeh, eventually you want to take out the powers above you, but the simple fact is that most evil groups have a strict hierarchy and most are willing to work within it. If evil was just a bunch of self serving bullies, there would not be much worry as they would just kill each other and the few that were left would be easy to wipe out.
It is the difference between Devils and Demons. One enjoys causing pain and suffering, but follows a strict set of rules - evil rules, but rules nonetheless. The other just enjoys harming others and does not care in the least about the rules or what the side effects are. As a difference you have Cheliax - a powerful but corrupt nation - versus the Worldwound - a weak set of fiefdoms that fight with each other and are rarely a threat to most others.

Well part of it comes from experience.
But as for the games I'd ask kindly that you make an app in the recruit threads if you're interested. The assassin game will be moving to 2nd soonish.

ZDM, I empathize with the "relief" of seeing a loved one pass when it is their time. I get the sense that some folks seem to think it's cruel in some degree to express relief of any kind if a loved one dies, but I feel they don't really understand the cycle of life--everyone dies, and the quality of life is IMHO far more important than the duration. If you just live each day without regrets, you shouldn't fear death (at least not all THAT much).
welcome back. (and neat twist in HoD with the dagger!!)

Those are my sentiments exactly, it's really nice to know that someone one else out there shares them :)

I have no clue what you mean with that reference but alrgihty then.
Their user base consisted mainly of amateur camcorder users
Video8 was the staple format for all the hand held camcorders until fairly recently... I'll leave it at that. These days it's all captured for posterity on an iPhone no doubt.
A picture may lie, but a 'Pam & Tommy' home movie sure doesn't.

Character build question:
I'm pretty much decided about all my feats for Vaughn (dual-wielding dagger fighter), except for 7th level. I'm torn between Blind Fighting and Power Attack.
Power Attack I'd use all the time, and more damage is always better (considering the small weapon, and the hit bonuses I'll be getting w/weapon focus, dual-wielding bonuses, etc).
blind Fight I would use rarely, but sure would come in handy when it was needed. (I do currently ahve darkvision due to an item . . .)
thoughts? i'm leaning slighty toward PA.

I'm not familiar with the "step up line."
Iron will I was going to take later (much later), but perhaps that would be a better choice now . . .
