Ah - I was wondering whether it was Carrion Crown or somehow related with the Ustalav ties. I not sure I should take on a new campaign right now, although the DM for my Way of the Wicked campaign just bailed after 2 weeks so if anyone wants to run a Way of the Wicked Campaign, we are looking for a DM.
Is there any roles that you need filled in the campaign in case I want to think up a character? I know that you have a crazy evilish witch and a half-drow paladin, so it seems you pretty much span the gambit at this point.
Hey, I am running one campaign. And I have not even killed anyone yet. Although one of my frogs did swallow a really annoying yappy chihuahua someone summoned. Stupid Summon Monster 1 (at second level maybe I will let them have miniature poodles or wiener dogs).
Never played Everquest, so that would be tough. Oh, and I am sure that I can find all the snails I need since I am shipwrecked on a tropical beach in one campaign. And throwing unsuspecting sailors overboard in another.

Perhaps I need to offer to start the game, get it going, and have another DM take over, then agree to run another game as thanks.
Haha, you really want to play that one! It must be a blast.
LOL totally :) One of my biggest draws to RPGs is solving puzzles and EQ offers so many tactical possibilities. It's heady.
<swoon>
I even started another thread to lure people out of the woodwork: HERE
For some reason I seem to be cursed and cannot be a player in an EQ RPG game that lasts.
(kicks a pebble in frustration)
(falls unconscious after the pebble exploited the AoO)
p.s. I have no problem running games and have been DMing for years. I'd toss together another game in a heartbeat if I could bribe someone into running this game :)
I will be at Boston Garden. I decided to take my son while my favorite band is still touring. My wife insists that I bring ear plugs for him! I know they can be loud, but can it really be that loud?

How easy is it for you to get into the city? Do you have any money for tickets? We are up in the balcony and the seats are not great, but I am sure there are still some tickets available.
anyone else not happy with the Board's update? It seems only dotted threads with new posts show up when I focus. Or else I need to search for every thread I've dotted and redot. Somewhat annoying.
anyways Cairn is going Ranger 5
HP:60 + 1d10 + 2 ⇒ 60 + (8) + 2 = 70
+1 BAB and 1 x 1st level spell
skill points - 9/ +2 Bluff, +1 Perception, +2 Stealth, +2 Survival, +2 Sleight of Hand
Favored enemy 2 - Undead +2 and stacking vs Human +4
Feat - Slayer's Knack Undead - Against FE any weapon's threat range is doubled.
I WAS going to hassle for Leadership so I could get a reliable right hand henchling for Vic's dirty work, but Cairn is working out well.
Improved Familiar? Maybe, but all the sexy stuff is on the wrong alignment train... Vic is not really tipping towards the good end of Neutrality, indeed she probably swims in the nasty end more often than not, but getting an Imp familiar is at odds with her Demon blood heritage... makes no sense! Quasit is similarly CE, which is way too far removed, even if it is from the correct plane.
Pseudodragons... hrm...Faerie Dragon!? - CG - wrong end again, A Brownie...?
I didn't spot that we had dinged 7 in HOL either, ermagawd.
What to do with Tricky Vicky?
FEAT- TBA?
HP 1d6
4th Level spells Divination, Geas:Lesser.
So the Feat...

Seems that there were a few unknown bugs when they rolled out this upgrade. The "x-new" and dot issues should clear up soon, although it has been more than 6 hours since that was posted.
I looked at the Daemons/Demons/Devils, but poor Solaric might explode :(
Get one that is invisible at will. To the best of my knowledge, the familiar takes on the alignment of the wizard/witch. So, you should be able to just keep it invisible and since it would be "Neutral", you would not have to worry about him finding out about it through Detect Evil.
Personally I love the Lyrakien, but they are CG which will not work for you.
I do not have my campaign information, but I can reach it sometimes through characters and a back door, but now I cannot remember how I did it. I hope they fix this soon.
Hi folks, I have prepared the following spells for typical adventuring. If any of you that have the time and inclination, could you please look at this list and see if you recommend any changes for Celestra's role as a supportive cleric in a party going against some nasty evil.
** spoiler omitted **...
Finally got around to doing this but I thought I might help out a bit here.
Spells:
Prepared Spells:
0 Level Spells (Save DC 16)
• Guidance
• Detect Magic
• Purify Food and Drink
• Create Water, Ale, or Wine
1st Level Spells (Save DC 16)
1 • Remove Fear -> OPEN (Karlan can channel to do this. Keep this open though)
1 • Bless
1 • Pick Your Poison
1 • Spiritual Weapon
1 • Spiritual Weapon
1 • Detect Evil -> Protection from Evil (Really really useful for the whole mind control prevention thing. Good to put on Harry since his saves are liekly the weakest next to Alana's)
1 ø Longstrider
2nd Level Spells (Save DC 17)
1 • Remove Paralysis -> OPEN or Communal Protection from Evil
1 • Consecrate -> (keep this for now since it looks like we're fighting even MORE undead but we may want to make this OPEN later)
1 • Lesser Restoration
1 ø Locate Object
3rd Level Spells (Save DC 18)
1 • Dispel Magic -> Stone Shape (We'll be in the mountains going towards a stone fort. ;))
0 • Remove Curse -> OPEN (both your options were a touch situational and may be useful later on but one open slot can do one or the other so no space is really wasted)
1 ø Fly
4th Level Spells (Save DC 19)
1 • Holy Smite -> Blessing of Fervor (This is just way too good for our group)
1 ø Dimension Door
