Female Human-ish

We had a bad dust storm here yesterday, and now, today it feels like someone punched me in the chest. It's awesome. I hate Kansas.

Spending the day unpacking my new house, drinking some fine beer, and researching an antique German bayonet I've had around for a while now.

This thing is very cool. From what I can tell it is at least 100 years old. It was made in Erfurt at the Imperial arsenal and may have been made with a sawtooth back that was later removed around 1917 due to troops found with that configuration being shot dead on the spot or tortured. I never really thought much about it in the decade I've had it in my possession, but it really got my wandering to the possible places it has been and the things it has seen all in silent vigilance.

Indeed I be, grobi. Keep eyeballin' me an' I'll cast Grease in your colon. ;)

Which will be easy to do as you're sliding, screaming through my digestive tract :)

Wonder what the concentration check is for casting as you are masticated and digested~

Mmmm, grease works very well for barbecuing gnomes.

I have combat casting so I should make the check, but you may need to sit in milk. Burned biscuits ain't so comfortable. :0

Is it weird that this is making me hungry IRL?

BRB need to go find some grub!

Hahaha, strange taste there, bud. Hot Wings?

Urghh. I am really thankful to live in an area of mild european weather. The worst here is a mild rainstorm, and even that is hardly more than annoing.

He'd be tough to broil, Jez. It is more likely you'd have to put him in one of those big cauldrons all bad things toss people in to cool them.

Female Tiefling - Demon Spawn Fighter(Lore Warden)/2 - Oracle(Lore)/1 - Sorcerer(Crossblooded-Draconic(gold)/Orc)/1

I have a 20 strength and am 1/2 demon, I bet my teeth could get through even tough gnome hide.

Hahaha, when you put it that way maybe he would be lunch. Though being nearly an Azer does help.

I'm just grateful that the wind died down enough last night for all of the dust to settle back to the earth.

Male Pale Master

sounds like you all need rain.

Stiehl9s wrote:

If it's acid raid we could use it to marinade the gnome.

(points for tying the conversations together!)

GNICE!

Female Human-ish

We do. We had some rain not too long ago. I think the issue was that the winds were so strong and the farm areas outside of the city had recently been plowed etc. which exposed the earth.

Or to wash the stink off the goblin, hehehe.

I do agree with your assessment of Stiehl's input, haha.

Very topical given the current conversation - but I found your cousins while shopping - refer to thread here.

I'm getting in touch with the shopping center to see if I can buy the decos when they are done with them - they did a pretty good job ;)

I love it!

I just hope that they have Paizo's permission, or that is going to be a maelstrom of feces for that mall.

The art is amazing :)

Male Gnome Sorcerer/7 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

While it is clear what the mall was using as a basis, I doubt it would be close enough to qualify as an infringement on any intelectual property rights. But, I do not practice in that area, so I could be wrong.

Plus, for Paizo and the other rpg companies, any advertisement that gets more people into gaming is worth more than any potential infringement damages.

Indeed, and they were purely decorations with no $ being made from their sale, etc. I'd highly doubt that many people involved in the promotion even know what they actually are. If I get back an answer from the mall people I'll let you know. I really hope I can get the details of who made them... thinking about commissioning some more from them ;)

There is nothing about the decos that even suggests gaming apart from the fact that the d20 he's holding has some numbers painted on.

Plus, Asia is not known for its crack-downs on intellectual property infringment, lol.

Male Gnome Sorcerer/7 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

There are intellectual property infringement problems in Asia? I didn't even realize they recognized intellectual property rights at all.

Too true.

Female Human-ish

I feel so freaking miserable right now. I have the same crap I had 4 weeks ago, same symptoms and all. I just hope I get over it as quickly as I did last time.

Wrong gods? She lives in the state where they decreed that creationism had to be taught as a science a few years ago.

Mayhaps my Bacon God didn't like the maple bacon flavored tea I sent to him.

Tirion wrote:

Don't be a "stateist". You can't judge all of us by the actions of some of us. There was a large debate and the scientific community fought hard against this, however the State Board of Education basically said F you, we're doing it anyway. Kinda like when the Electoral College supported Bush even though the majority vote didn't.

Also, I graduate in 2001, this occurred in 2005. Oh, and I am a pagan, not a Christian, I don't believe in Creationism and in fact, I will often point out that even if I did, Darwinism and Creationsim are not mutually exclusive. The Holy Bible is written in such a fashion that the first man and woman (who are not clearly stated to be human) are not physically described but described only as being in God's image, the animals aren't even thoroughly described until Leviticus. As well, the book states that time to God is different than time to man, and if the book is really the word of God, than it would surely have time inconsistencies to our human minds.

But it's so much fun!

If it is going to be one of the Coruption Gods, I think that I would have to skip on that one. Slannesh might be a better choice. Something about festering pox, bleh.

Lol, I'll just stick to my own gods. Such as the Bacon God. He's a pretty awesome god, he even sent me a Halloween card.

Male Pale Master

Whats this? A bacon god? I know my favorite meat is heavenly and all but to have its own god...that just might make me a believer ;)

Haha, he made a sundae for Burger King this year.

Indeed, there is a Bacon God, and he is a mighty god, an accepting god and a generous god. His one commandment, "Thou Shalt Consume Bacon."

And you shalt know him as Oscar Mayer.

WooHoo level up, oh wait, that is one of the few campaigns I am not in. Darn.

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

Yeah, why's that so? :)

I thinking about running Hero Quest as PbP and using either PF or Warhammer 2nd Ed. here on the boards. I was unpacking the other day came across it and both of the expansions and it brought back some great memories. It has been 20 years since I played that game. Some classic dungeon crawl sounds like a good time. Hmmmm, we will have to see how this works out.

Male Gnome Sorcerer/7 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

What AP is it? And do you need anyone in it?
