You guys just blew through 6k posts. Not bad.

Just realised my account is up to over 10000 posts...

Star Voter 2014

Me too :P - hit that number last week sometime.

Just over half was PbP, the rest was enjoying myself sending others into fits of frenzy and rage elsewhere in the forums.

I am seriously lacking on you guys, only 6400, but that is in only 11 months, so not bad.

Yes, and while Winter was busy contemplating writing a letter, Bree would have been spurred into action by the idea of a woman being forced to do anything against her will.

Well on the upside, if she is sitting in our camp then we can write letters - if she is sitting in the enemy camp then we need to drop by for a personal lecture... and look how those end up.

Indeed, they either end bloody or with Winter somehow managing to talk is way into getting what he wants... as long as Bree and Kabal don't get angry first :P

Kabal would never stab someone in the kidney! He's much more likely to eviscerate them so their kidneys fall out on the ground.

Geez BBB whatcha mean? :p

@Kabal - yeah see tahts why Winter has an easy life, when his Diplomacy fails his friends take right on over.

The Hidalgo idea has been weighing on my mind somewhat... and due to newborn induced tiredness and work related brain numbingness it has morphed into something both greater and lesser...

Le Tour de Golarion

An eccentric has managed to acquire a whole shipment of the Sun Orchid Elixer of Thuvia, and is putting it up as the grand prize in his open to all comers invitational racing extravanganza. Each of the city states of Golarion will hold at least one leg of the race as it makes it's way through the world. Watch as they dodge the isbjorn of the frozen lands of Irrisen, flirt with danger as they skirt the Worldwound and swelter in the sun of the Southern land of Garund.

With prospective riders from as far as barbaric Numeria, noble Taldor, the haughty Qadirans and exotic Tian Xia this promises to be a contest worthy of some remembrance. Come one, come all to the greatest race in history!

Perhaps I do need some sleep...

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

There's a classic adventure module for The Dark Eye (Germany's no. 1 RPG) with exactly that plot:

Das große Donnersturmrennen

wow. I thought I was pretty active and I'm only at 5K.

hey ZZ- would you mind moving Pitr over to the retired characters list in Heart of Light? I thought Heart would eventually pop down to inactive for me, but I guess there's just too much activity or something :)

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

Pitr is already ticked as inactive I also ticked Voodoo now, hope it worked!

that did the trick. Danke, junge Herr!

We're gonna do what they say can't be done.
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.

Keep your foot hard on the pedal. Son, never mind them brakes.
Let it all hang out 'cause we got a run to make.
The boys are thirsty in Atlanta and there's beer in Texarcana.
And we'll bring it back no matter what it takes.

"Yeah, that Big 10-4 there, pig pen, yeah, we definitely got the front door, good buddy. mercy sakes alive, looks like we got us a convoy..."

They just dont make movies like that anymore... :(

It's like the directors 'just dont get it'.

Male Gnome Sorcerer/9 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

I love that movie, have not seen it in years. What is better than a race across the country with hot cars. And if you want a who's who of movie stars, they definitely had a number of them in the Cannonball Run.

Yeah such movies always used to inspire our Car Wars games...

Male Gnome Sorcerer/9 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

Car Wars - only played that once, but it seemed like fun. I recall something like Uncle Albert's additional weapons, stuff like recoilless rifles and so forth. And his crazy cousin Uncle Schmalbert or something who had alternative weapons, like a front mounted neutron bomb.

Uncle Albert was the 'legit' expansion material, Uncle Schmalbert was unofficial variant rules (usually comedy or 'meme' themed).

Great days.

Wir hatte Juli gesagt.

Good Morning everyone, sorry for the silence, but I felt like crab the last few days but am getting better now.

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/8

I've been right there with you, feytharn. Seems like every time I turn around these last few months I'm sick. I ended up with strep throat just a few days after a stomach flu had me feeling like death warmed over. I don't know what it is, but I swear I've been sick more in the last few months than the rest of my life combined. I'm starting to wonder if there isn't something going on internally, something more serious that has my immune system in the gutter. Maybe all these illnesses are a symptom of something larger... gods I hope not.

Sorry to hear that. At the very least I know it is my immune system (I am taking antibiotics for nearly half a year to fight an osteomyelitis, while those antibiotics, unlike most, can be taken for an extended time, it still knocks out much of the immune system, plus the infection is in the foot and keeps me from most sports...)

I hope everything turns out OK for you (keep an eye on the inflammatory values - perhaps your immune system is occupied already). Take care!

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/8

Maybe so, thanks feytharn. I hope you get to feeling better soon yourself.

Don't know much about the American health care system, but can't you do some kind of general check-up?

Lol - American health system, your funny. In America, you got money, you get service. If you have lots of money you get the best health care in the world. You don't have money, you can pretty much kiss your life goodbye.

This is coming from a diabetic who has had to pay up the wazoo for healthcare.

Then you already have the kind of system ours is becoming more and more...great *_*

What Tirion said. And the Powers that Be are far, FAR more interested in their party rhetoric than in affecting any kind of positive change in, well, ANY farging thing. Both Rep and Dem are way too eager to make reality fit their dogma than the other way around, it makes me want to puke.

The world ain't black and white, people!! Sheesh.

I love our health care system.

Getting dental treatment on it is a bugbear (retail 4U!) but the rest of it is peanuts.

basically if you get hurt/injured/sick, you will be looked after. We have Private health system too (which a lot of people are on board with for the tax break) but that just means you do it a little nicer and get to pick your doctors etc. Mind you if Im pouring blood and bits onto the street I don't reckon I'm going to be asking them to take me the extra distance to a nicer bed and start interviewing my potential surgeons... which is why they will ship you to the nearest public first, where you will pay nothing.

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/8

They've pretty much answered all of that for me... yeah, healthcare here sucks. I have crap insurance, and not a lot of money, so I get crap healthcare. The doctors run minimal tests on me, and only when it's required by my insurance, I demand it (and if I knew what to demand I would) or there is something blatantly wrong that they have to treat.

Male Pale Master

and if you have good insurance they take complete advantage of it. i had a friend in the hospital for his second round of chicken pox. He even had them internally. 3 times a day a doctor would come by and literally ask 'how are you doing?...good?...ok I'll be back later' and that came to $500 a pop. its disgusting.

Male Gnome Sorcerer/9 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

Aren't Fraud and Abuse of the system great things.

Male Pale Master

it is what we founded this great country on!

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/8

There was an instance awhile back where a local dentist was found giving unneeded dental procedures to children in order to pad the bill. Everything from cavity fillings where there was no cavity to pulling baby teeth that didn't need it. He lost his licence.

I can think of certain things that should have had holes drilled in them and been pulled out for someone who does that to children - unfortunately it would probably get shot down as "cruel and unusual punishment".

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/8

My sentiments exactly.

What a horrible Dentist. Good to see the system caught up!

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/8

Indeed, but it only added to my over protective nature when it comes to my kid, and now I'm feeling paranoid when I have to take her to the dentist lol.

Just remember--you're not a year older until the day AFTER your birthday (think about it!). don't know if that helps you, but hey, it's a fun fact. (so you shouldn't be able to drink utnil the day after your 21st birthday in America, but hey, nobody follows that . . .)

Male Gnome Sorcerer/9 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

I don't believe in this whole solar year conspiracy. Someone is surely unjustly benefitting from it.

Hey--anyone seen/heard from Jazz? Last time he posted in HOD was April 30. Hope everything's OK . .
