Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/7

I've never seen the campfire go this dead.

My face hurts. Stupid allergies :(

Dungeon Master

I kept looking at the fire and was so mesmorized that I did not speak.

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/7

Fire can do that.

Male Gnome Sorcerer/8 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

Every time I look at the fire and get mesmerized, I get burned. I didn't start out this color you know.

Dances again

Herrin des Feuers:

Your Crown is made of copper
A Chestnut tree ablaze
is not as hot as your breath
Fire is your element
on your whit shoulders
copper is melting in the glow
From deep down in the earth
hails your name and your blood.

I am easily enflamed
my skin is made of paper
the rest of me is cinder
your fire comes for me.
Your Cat-Eyes glow
Your toch burns even stone
dissolved in scores of sparks
I will be smoke and ashes.

Mistress of fire, i am burning,
bright ablaze
Mistress of fire, i am burning,
bright ablaze
Mistress of fire, i am burning,
bright ablaze

A Fire Salamander
You keep as your heraldic animal
You are carthasis and purity
you quench my insatiable greed
Your Hair is emitting sparks
I've never seen a prettier sight
dissolved in scores of sparks
I will go down in flame

Mistress of fire, i am burning,
bright ablaze
Mistress of fire, i am burning,
bright ablaze
Mistress of fire, i am burning,
bright ablaze

(not half as good as the german lyrics sound...)

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

lol yeah, god I totally forgot that song^^

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

Pokes in the remains of the fire and adds a few logs to have it burn a little brighter and warmer before he succumbs to his lack of sleep.

I'll see your campfire and raise you a well test flare...

Sometimes I get to do this offshore :)

Questionable Questionable Psychotic 10/Lunatic 15

Apparently the fire is not burning hot enough, Hundgesicht grabs a nice barrel of acetylene and throws it on the fire to see if that helps.

Result is a massive fireball: everyone at the campfire takes 100d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 5, 4, 2, 6, 2, 6, 1, 5, 3, 2, 4, 2, 3, 4, 2, 1, 6, 5, 1, 4, 6, 5, 5, 4, 6, 4, 6, 1, 5, 4, 4, 5, 2, 2, 1, 5, 5, 2, 2, 6, 1, 4, 1, 6, 5, 4, 3, 4, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 2, 2, 3, 1, 5, 6, 2, 3, 4, 6, 3, 1, 4, 4, 5, 4, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 2, 3, 4, 1, 1, 6, 3, 1, 6, 3, 6, 6, 3, 2, 2, 5, 3) = 353 damage.

Saving throws for anyone?

Questionable Questionable Psychotic 10/Lunatic 15

No saving throw, but for anyone who survives there is not a lot of fried bacon due to a certain pig faced bad decision.

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

Urgh...why are you waking me...whoah...thank god for fire proof pajamas!
What's cooking? it smells delicious!

"Oohhh...pretty flower, Mark. Heh, Porky Man, what are you doing with that barr... Whoooohooo"

Starts dancing like a drunken lemure, completely high, linging a loud song

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

mhmh Schweinnase bacon...

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

I think I am rapidly reaching a stage where neither headbanging fire colossals nor fried tarrasque-pork can keep me awake, so I bow out for tonight. Have fun everybody!

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

Good morning!
Any survivors of the flametacular BBQ?

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

Still here!

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

Gamemasters Fire Immunity? ;)

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

not so much, i'm just immune to anything players can possibly do :)

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

Thats why it is Gamemaster Fire Immunity.
If that blue dragon would have been there, it would have been Game Masters Lightning Immunity.
Never give away too much in one take ;)

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

well, that's sounds reasonable...heh!

Hey, my group quit Cthulhu after two sessions :( They decided that investigations etc. are totally not their cup of tea...we are now back in the fantasy sector with Warhammer 3rd Edition...tststs

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

Sorry to hear...
Next: Try Cthulhutech - Investigating and blasting mythos monsters with giant mecha!

Cthulhu is a hard thing to get the mojo of running... took me ages to get the thing quite right.

Has to be run at winter, at night.

1920's noir horror is hard to run during the day (EXCEPT the super awesome Terror Australis supplement).

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

Yeah, I got some cthulhutech books but I didn't find time to take a look at them by now.

Male Half Orc Rog5 Cav 3: HP:84/84, - AC: 21/T:14/FF:18 - Perception: +12(Dark Vision) F: +6/R: +8/W: +4 - CMB: +11 - CMD: 25, Speed: 30ft, Init: +2 (+4)

So I'm thinking if Harry ever reaches the Dizzying heights of L7 maybe he needs to take Leadership and have Thumper as his Cohort. :p

Although thats a lot of loyalty to a dog, not sure it is worth it though...

Male Human Paladin 8

You could start taking levels of houndmaster cavalier to treat thumper as your warhound then ask if zyren will let you take boon companion so he can remain at full strength.

It's like the middle ground that doesn't make you a full paladin but stay full harry.

Also war razor guys amuse me. And Karlan's descent into cynicism over the basic intelligence of villains amuses me greatly.

Honestly though I've heard very ugly rumors about the end of this part of the AP. I just hope we can get through it with everyone intact.

Male Gnome Sorcerer/8 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

I would not mind having Kanyk and his earthbreaker about now.

Male Half Orc Rog5 Cav 3: HP:84/84, - AC: 21/T:14/FF:18 - Perception: +12(Dark Vision) F: +6/R: +8/W: +4 - CMB: +11 - CMD: 25, Speed: 30ft, Init: +2 (+4)

Yah karlan, I quite like the Houndmaster, it was a great design and I am surprised it hasn't found a home as 'official' content anywhere yet.

Whilst I reckon there's a good argument for taking a dip to Cav (Order of the Dragon works well!) the downside is he's be running around as an L6 guy tied to an L1 Druid Pet. I'm just weighting up the benefits of sticking out rogue, and I reckon the brutality of those Sneak attacks at high level looks pretty attractive. 4d6 at 7th, and iterative to boot. Thats some hard hitting.

And yes Tirion, some Earthbreaking would be nice, but instead I give you some Harry Axe-Whacking.

Tirion begins to feel ill trying to imagine what exactly a Hairy Axe is.

You're forgetting the other benefits. More armor, bigger hit die. Plus if you get boon companion you're looking at a level 6 druid pet.

Anyone already started with easter preparations?

Predominately muslim country... so nobody here celebrates easter apart from the chocolate sellers.

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

:(

It's not that bad :P

They make up for it with celebrating New Years four times (Muslim new year, Normal new year, Chinese new year and Buddhist new year) as well as a few other two day holidays. All told we have 17 or 18 public holidays through the year.

Since my uncle will be celebrating his birthday at my place, tomorrow, I will call preparing the food (soup, cakes, roast hare) easter preparations. Unfortunatly I just smashed one (of course the one hardest to prepare) on the way to the cooler. Fortunatly I found enough ingrediences to do another (slightly smaller) one. I just hope that one stays in shape :|

I like that old pagan me celebrates eastern roughly the same time and with mostly the same traditions as my christian family :)

fey - did you smash the cake? - the soup? or the roast hare?

I remember eating rabbit growing up... dad used to go out with his .22 shooting and bring some back.... hated it then though.

Male Gnome Sorcerer/8 - (HP: 46/46 - AC19;FF16;T17 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

I thought Easter was a nondenominational holiday like Christmas. The only difference is that Christmas is directed at giving money to low cost labor nations while on Easter we provide homage to genetically altered rabbits who sh*t chocolate.

I smashed a cake - a crème brûlée tarte that was fraggin hard to get right from the beginning...grrrr

Mark Sweetman wrote:

It is the first time I do hare. I found a recipe that treats it just like beef, so it won't be too hard. Fortunatly I and all of my guests tomorrow like game, so I hope it will go well.

Dungeon Master

I played harp at a Maundy Thursday service last night. Tonight is a labyrinth service (but with no minotaurs). The inlaws arrive tomorrow and Easter itself will be busy with a sunrise service and a regular service to follow. I will be making waffles between the two services. Then comes the feast at home with the family. It will be busy, but a good time. Maybe I will even get a chocolate egg by the end!

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

Wow DMHw that sounds like you got your hands really full!

@ Fey: It sounds so good I would have eaten it from off the floor!

Osirion

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

I actually saved some of it, once cooled it should be edible not unlike an ordinary crème brûlée - just not enought to compensate for the work - and not nearly presentable enough for guests :)
I just hope the second try is going to be a success!

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/7

I'll be celebrating with loud, raucous orgies, feasting and drinking as is befitting of any celebration of Spring and fertility.

OK, not really. I'll be dying Easter eggs, putting my kid in frilly dress and hiding said Easter eggs for her to find. I'll be baking a ham, making banana pudding, green bean casserole and salad etc. My mother will come, as will my two brothers, one of them with his wife and children too... but a girl can dream.

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/7

OK guys, so I'm doing some fundraising for the Hope 2 Haiti project through Random Acts. It really means a lot to me, so if any of you are interested in donating or joining the cause send me a private message and I'll send you a link to my crowdrise donation page :)

Bree, where've ya been all my life???? :-)

Lol, Vaughn that's a complicated question, it depends entirely on your date of birth :P
