@ Tirion: Oh my god, how shall I ever afford that?! But yay for 5000th post!

Correct - very few people in Australia drink Fosters, and it is very rarely on tap in any pubs.

I knew it! Thanks for the confirmation.

Grr - getting frustrated with all the slippages in schedule for Skulls and Shackles. First volume isn't due to 'pre-order' till April now!

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

goblinworks is taking its toll..

In this case not so much - I can remember seeing some comments about shipping delays from China, so it must be caught on a boat somewhere...

I can attest to the fact that the slow boat to China does, in fact, exist. lol.

Hello. I disappeared. This disappearance has an explanation. The explanation is my innate power of procrastination and 6 exams in a 2 week period. This is the first time I have been on the paizo forums for about a month. Installed one of those programs that limits your internet use to a few pages (in this case wolfram alpha and my course websites) and then got my house mate to change the password to unlock it and not tell me. They only gave me the password yesterday. It has been a fun month.

If I've been replaced in all the games I disappeared from I totally understand, I feel really bad about up and vanishing. Came back to explain where I went really.

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

Oh well, you haven't been replaced anywhere (except HORI), we were just sad :(

*pokes all others around the fire* - but if Corvax is still up for the challenge he is also welcomed again!

Male dwarven kineticist 3

Alright then! I know how I am spending my evening now. I imagine there is quite a lot too catch up on.

welcome back grmnbln!
I just sunk a kitchen knive about 1cm into my right index finger, not too bad it seems, i can move it and definatly still feel it, but my own bandages are quite a hindrance to typing and I guess the ones the doctor will replace the with will not be much better - my post count might slow a bit for a few day (or might at least be riddled with typos or abbreviations.).

Waves to grmnbln.

Heart of Pulp fell over too unfortunately.

If people would prefer I backed out of Riddles for Corvax to step back in I'm cool with that - don't want to un-necessarily overload the party with too many.

Male dwarven kineticist 3

Nah don't do that. If the the party gets too overloaded with people Corvax can wander off to the nearest tavern (provided he can get off the island) and disappear into a haze of alcohol. Only fair really, I'm the one who vanished and had to be replaced after all. And curses on the heart of pulp falling over thing, it was rather slow but I did enjoy it.

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

@ Fey: Well done :/

@ grmbln: No problem - maybe a heads-up next time, kay? :)

I told you I knew about that sort of injuries...

At least I managed not to hit anything important but the bone - and that didn't get hurt, and since it is a finger and not a toe it shouldn't take that long to heal :-)

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

I could need a helping hand from one of you US based people:

I would like to order this from the FFG store.

But they charge like 70 dollars shipping...I guess it's about 10 dollars shipping if you do it via USPS. Anyone willing to help me and buy it and send it to Germany?

I could send you the money it costs (item + normal shipping to you + shipping to me) via Paypal.

Long overdue level uppishness

Kanyk HP 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

James HP 1d6 ⇒ 5

A very belated congrats to Bilbo on his promotion. Well done!

and a welcome back to grmnbln. Howd you do on your exams?

Male dwarven kineticist 3

No idea of actual marks yet but they seemed to go well.
The only one that may end up being subpar is Quantum Mechanics, had a complete brain fart on one of the questions which may have cost me about 10-20%. All the others went dandy though.
Galaxies was just a case of brain dumping all the things I'd revised for the course into the exam paper, not much thought or any complex maths involved really.
Waves was quite tough in places just because some of matrices involved were unpleasant.
Photonics exam was part memory and part calculation but nothing too taxing.
Energy and the environment is pretty much a doss course, a mix of a level physics and geography and the exam lived up to expectations and was super simple.
Linear algebra again not hard, I had done so many practice questions and past papers by the time I did the exam that I could answer most of the questions with out even really thinking about it.

My brain hurts just reading that list of exams. Congrats on getting through them.

Male Pale Master

I second both of those notions!

Male Gnome Sorcerer/9 - (HP: 49/49 - AC20;FF17;T18 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

I took some of those courses many years ago, but only 1-2 per quarter, not all at once. Ouch. And I remember Waves and Vibrations - I still have nightmares about the equations in that course.

Congrats on finishing them.

Zyren, should we make use of the new PM system instead of spoilers from now on?

Sorry about the delay with Airship Pirates, I am still on it, but I might need a tad more time due to real life issues.

Scarab Sages

Grmnbln - congrats for finishing your exams!

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

How can we send PMs now?

No, for rping I would prefer spoilers, PMs are good for certain kinds of ooc.

Male Pale Master

There's a little mail envelope by your name at the top where it says 'Welcome, *****'

Great addition to the site. Definitely needed.

Scarab Sages

You can also send a PM using a users profile page.

Dungeon Master

Zyren, I would be willing to help you out with your ordering. Please email me a list of what you want ordered and your mailing address and I will see to it.

Zyren:
I have ordered Faith of Sigmar. It will probably arrive sometime early next week. Once I get it, I will ship it forward. I will let you know the cost once I send it off.

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

DMHW:

You're great, thx! How much did you pay for inner-US shipping?

fey:

Dungeon Master

Zyren:

So far I have spent $6.95 + $4.69 shipping for a total of $11.64. That is shipping 1st class mail.

Divine Gamemaster of the Abyss and below...

@ DMHW: Sounds good!

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Anyone else keeping track of the OotS reprint Kickstarter?

$416 k raised in about 12 days... not bad for a comic about stick figures eh?

Fey:

Kennst du ein COC 1X1 Abenteuer? Einer meiner Spieler würde gerne mal reinschnuppern. Am besten online zum Runterladen, er will nämlich morgen vorbeikommen - oder kennst du eines, was man einfach mit einem Spieler machen kann?

Scarab Sages

male 1/4 Elf Lorekeeper???

Zyren:

Spoiler:

I think that DMZZ forgot to buy the marshmallows. However, I do have an everfull decanter of Microbrew and we have all the remnants of that Stay Puft Marshmallow Man elemental lying around.

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/10 (Init: +4)

Bree enters carrying a large pillowcase full of chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows. After passing them around to the group and stoking the fire she curls up against a large rock and takes out a book entitled Globalization and Change in Fifteen Cultures: Born in One World, Living in Another and begins to read the second chapter, "2/Change in the Lives of a Brazilian Indigenous People: To Pluck eyelashes (or Not?) among the Canela".

Male Gnome Sorcerer/9 - (HP: 49/49 - AC20;FF17;T18 - F+5;R+6;W+7 - Init+9 - Per+11)

Tirion looks over Bree's shoulder at what she is reading and wonders whether it would be more effective to also read the book, or simply pith himself.

Female Human Rogue-Knife Master/10 (Init: +4)

After a page and a half, she flips back to the front cover, then looks at a piece of parchment laying to her side. "Grrrr. Wrong book. Why does this teacher insist on identifying the books only by the authors last name and not the title..." a few more grumbles escape her lips as she shifts the books around in her backpack and pulls out yet another book. She opens Culture and Change: An Introduction to the second chapter "Culture Context" and begins reading once more.

Seeing Tirion looking over her shoulder, she shoves the first book into his hands.

Male Orc Expert 5

Drinks a coke.
