Any idea when the Core Set will come off Backorder, since it wasn't on Backorder when I placed the order and keeping $200 in my card is fast becoming a real issue after 3 weeks?

Any idea when the Core Set will come off Backorder, since it wasn't on Backorder when I placed the order and keeping $200 in my card is fast becoming a real issue after 3 weeks?

Due to the fact that our inventory updates dynamically directly from the distributor, it can occasionally happen that an item can go on backorder after the it has been ordered. This is what has happened here.

Unfortunately, it appears that this item is in the process of being reprinted and we do not currently have a date for when it will be back in stock. This is pure speculation on my part, but I do not expect it to remain unavailable for very long as it is the base which supports a pretty big line of stuff.

If we leave the order as is, then we will ship it out to you as soon as the game becomes available again. Otherwise, I can cancel the order and you can reorder when it becomes available again. Another option, if you are mostly interested in getting the payment made, is that you can get yourself a $200 Paizo gift certificate, redeem it for store credit, and then set that store credit as the payment method for the order on the My Payment Methods page.

I wish I had better news for you, but I hope that one of these options will work for you.

The Gift Certificate idea is pure Genius. I feel stupid for not thinking of it myself and I think that I will be using that idea in future since I can get my Subs using them now and it saves me having one big sale (I can split it into smaller sales over the course of the month which looks a little easier on the eye to my wife).

Can I ask: How much would it add to the (total) order to split it and get the available stuff now and keep the Core Set on Backorder until it arrives? With what I've ordered and the Rulebook on my iPad I should be able to at least have enough to start playing without the Core Set.

I can ship everything but the Core Set right away.

So, if you'd like, I can move the Core Set to your sidecart, where it will go out with the first possible subscription shipment. This will probably drop your shipping by a fair bit, but it will most likely raise the shipping on the affected sub shipment.

Does this sound like something you'd like to try?

Yeah can you do that please. Send what you have and leave the Core Set in my Sidecart for shipment with the first possible Subscription Shipment.
